I made an appointment with the location in Pearland. Arrive before my appt time to be told that you can't hv someone with you & the patient also not allowed entry until they're ready for you. I get it's COVID & precautions have to be taken but that should have been mention during the scheduling process. I waited in my running car for 30 mins because the receptionist said she would call when they were ready for me. Thirty mins pass my appt time still not a call.. I wait an additional 15 mins still no call or update. I decide to call them. They offer no apologies, no concern was shown for the fact I waited about an hour & still no communication. I informed the receptionist I was leaving & express to her I have no desire to reschedule or return. I wasted a whole day with this unprofessional place. Needless to say I would NEVER return nor would I recommend them to anyone. I also work in a surgeon office note to Ideal Dentist in Pearland please let your patients know the policy & procedures you have in place before scheduling. It's call good customer service to make patients aware of policies before hand not upon arrival. Also if you are operating on Saturdays with only 1 dentist schedule accordingly. To many dentist locations for patients to have to put up with subpar customer service & unprofessional behavior. read more

I was in search of a new dentist since my insurance changed. I found Ideal Dental through a dentist search on the Cigna website. I figured I would try it out since I knew that this location was pretty new. Scheduling an appointment was very easy. The option of filling out the paperwork before you come in is nice and speeds up the process. The staff from reception, hygienists, and dentist (Dr. David) are very nice. Their lobby is very beautiful. There is a coffee bar in the lobby and the hygienist offered me a bottle of water while I waited. There's TVs in each bay so that helps the time pass while you wait. The best part is that they're open two Saturdays a month so that is very convenient. They were very busy today, but they kept checking on me and apologized for the wait so it wasn't really an issue. I was disappointed to have to change dentists, but I'm glad I found Ideal Dental. read more

So I'm giving ideal dental a 2 star rating because the staff is great and are nice, but what is extremely frustrating is that whenever I make a Saturday appointment they always say that they won't be open that day and that they'll need to reschedule. My thing is if you won't be open that day then why do you schedule me for that day. What really upset me was that I had made an appointment for a Saturday and without even telling me that they canceled me they just set it up for a day that they didn't even ask me about. I had to call them back to tell them that I couldn't make that day and time. This isn't just a one time occurrence every time I make a Saturday appointment they always cancel my appointment. This is the only day that I can come to these appointments. I would go somewhere else, but I can't. Seriously not happy with them always doing this to me, all the time! read more

I went for problems with a crown in July 2020. . Was told I needed a tooth removed- so I went to the Endodontist they recommended and paid over $1000 out of pocket. Went back for the balance of the crown treatment for which I paid $1,400. Up front. I did not go back for the cleaning that I paid as I saw a different dentist each visit and ai grew uncomfortable with them. Then a year later they started sending me past due notices monthly. Really? After several phone calls, the dental office worked out the issues with my insurance company and I was told I would receive a refund of $300 and that was over 2 months ago. I have been attempting to reach Ashley, the office manager as I still have not received my refund. I have been calling weekly and received various excuses as to why Ashley was not available. I can't even get a return call. I would not refer this dental office to anyone. read more

If I could give a zero rating, I would. Absolute worst dental experience ever - falsely uses direct mailers and I will be reporting this. I went in for a $29 exam and all kinds of other stuff - verified over the phone and in the office TWICE that a cleaning was included and go figure they try and charge me $139 for a cleaning. Not only did I not SAVE any money on this, I literally wasted $29 for no reason. They came back telling me I needed more than $2 worth of work - of course they wouldn't give me my direct mailer OR my x-rays. AND GO FIGURE that on Yelp they are offering a $39 cleaning and x-rays but wanted to treat me awful and lie to my face MULTIPLE TIMES. read more

Please do not get any major dental work here without a second opinion!! I was told I needed 4 crowns and 8 cavities filled so I got 2 crowns done and then got so frustrated that I went to another dentist with decades of experience and was told I only have one concerning cavity and that both of my new crowns were causing bite issues and causing me to pack food every time I eat!! Not to mention I was told I needed to hurry up and get my dental work done before the end of 2020 and then it turns out my insurance has no cap so I felt pressured to get a crown on a tooth that wasn't even bothering me until they put the crown on and messed up my bite worsening my TMJ pain! I wish I had never seen them. The front staff were horrible with my concerns on the phone. It took over a month to get my permanent crown and I had to deal with a disgusting looking temporary that gave me anxiety of it falling out because they tried to give me a super yellow and super short permanent crown and I made them send it back to one that actually matched my teeth!! So upset that I have two fake teeth now because they were so happy to make a buck.. read more

Nice layout, convenient Saturday hour, quick appointment, however bad quality of care . If you're looking for long term dental care to go to, I would not recommended. I went in for a cleaning and they acted as if I hadn't been to the dentist in years. I only hadn't been in the last year because I was searching for a new dentist office close to home. I've spent the last several years getting my twice a year cleaning and good reviews and I come to this place once and I have a monster mouth. Really?? They said I was going to die if I didn't get 3 fillings and replacement crown. The crown alone was $600. I still haven't gotten my teeth cleaned. I asked about my cleaning when they were seemingly finishing up with me and the assistant says you'll have to get that next time. It's already 5:00 and we're closed. Seriously??? That's what I came in here for. They are trying to swindle as much money upfront because once you register what's really going on, you won't be back. I have not been back and won't.
