My wife and I were very pleased, so after a kitchen remodel, I contacted Paul to see if he could paint the areas affected by the remodel, as well as the ceiling. Time was of the essence, as my wife was *very* pregnant, and due at the beginning of the next month. Paul was - as always - very responsive, got me a quote, and arranged to have the painting done by mid-month. This was much appreciated, especially since my wife delivered several weeks early. But Paul was not done with us yet: I took down some curtains in the main room that I had had painted. As a consequence some of the wall and some of the ceiling needed to be repainted. I contacted Paul, to ask what ceiling paint he had used (so I could match it). Next thing I knew, Paul and his brother were at my door, painting the ceiling for me and matching the paint on the walls. Paul even swept the floor, probably leaving the house cleaner than how he found it. Even then, however, Paul wasn't done with us. Earlier this week, I contacted Paul to get some help matching the paint he used on the exterior after having some work done on the house. He could have just e-mailed me a quick response; instead, he stopped by the house this morning with a can of paint, confirmed it still matched the house, and gave it to me. Can't say how much I appreciated the gesture - which is, as far as I can tell, par for the course with Paul. I've worked with a lot of contractors over the least 10 years or so. None of them left such a good impression on me as Paul.
