One thing we did not want was to have the typical vinyl sided house with white trip. EVERY vinyl sided house has white trim. BORING!! We wanted to keep the same basic color scheme so I began the chore of finding the proper contractor to do the job. I called several companies. Often you can tell by the presentation of the first meeting if they are going to do good work. This was the case with Quinn's Construction. The first contractor was like a used car salesman and was clearly over its head. While being the lowest quote, it was clear the work would be subpar. The second contractor was much better but lost out since they could not find the proper materials to do the job to my satisfaction. Quinn's Construction took ample time to listen to my wants and provided several options to accomplish the goal. They were the highest price but it was clear that you get what you pay for. The crew was professional and prompt. The work was done over the end of winter. We provided our garage to the work force to make life best for all. Some minor issues had to be dealt with but we came to a fair agreement and the work was done as desired. The attention to detail was great. From the trim around the roof line to the address number box and the doorbells, this was done properly. The bay window required some additional work but it was done well. First fence is still standing. So far, so good. I need a second fence. Again, not a big fence but more significant than the first one. So Steve comes out again, drops a reasonable price again, does the job when/how expected again...except there's a minor error, so Steve comes out the next day to tweak it and make sure things are up to standard. I like that. It's what I wanted. It's what I expect most people want.

I can't believe Steve is still advertising and cheating people out of their money. He does…read morehorrible work. Fence posts were just dug into the ground, because he says "the dirt will compact around it" ... well guess what?? It didn't!! Within a month, wind toppled a section of the newly installed fence. When I called him to ask about fixing it, he said it was because of the wind, and didn't take any responsibility for his shoddy work. I found a panel that wasn't even attached to the post, so I called him. He arrived with a woman in the car, did a quick nail-gun fix, and went on his way. Stay away from him ... unless you have money to burn.

He did an excellent job fixing my forever stuck silverware top drawer. I had 2 people look at it…read moreand they could not fix it. He carefully crawled inside the cabinet space and undid the hardware of the drawer and he removed the top drawer from below. It took an hour and a half and he did not complain about being on his back most of that time. Not a mark on the drawer, no prying no force, he just knew what he was doing. He gave us good advice on how to prevent the problem in the future. His price for a Saturday visit was very reasonable. I can recommend him highly!

I was totally impressed from the minute they came to our house to talk about the project. The owner, John Gallagher, came to our house with numerous suitcases full of samples. Every other company I called asked us to come to their showroom, we could select what we wanted, and then they would come out to the house to give an estimate. John brought the showroom to our house!!! We were able to make selections, go upstairs to the bathrooms and actually see what it looked like in that bathroom. Then, while we were discussing other options and issues, he sent the selections we made to a team that was able to render what we wanted so we could see it in the dimensions of our bathrooms. This totally blew me away as we could get real-time feedback and see what our bathrooms would look like. This totally sold us on hiring Custom Bath of Nashua. Then, to have the actual renovation done by totally professional craftsmen was above and beyond expectations. Outstanding craftsmanship by each team on the project and very courteous and clean. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I would certainly hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone. It is very clear that John Gallagher and his employees are proud of what they do and aspire to excellence in all they do. No paperwork is left behind to verify that you are getting what you paid for. No forms with warranties provided, just verbal promises. Tile cuts were made in the bedroom resulting in fine dust particles throughout heating system. Carpeting and window blind replacement, as well as professional vent vacuuming all have added to the over priced cost of this project, not to mention the doctor bills from pulmonary doctors and breathing treatments.
