He was there when I got there. Oscar was a very personable, knowledgeable, and thorough inspector. He started with the roof and inspected every inch of the home I want to purchase. He was honest with me about the repairs that needed to be done on the house as I am buying the home as is. He stated that I can call him at any time and he took pictures of every repair needed. I've contracted Oscar (Ideal Home Inspection) twice, and both times he's been early, thorough, and extremely detailed. The second time he even helped put out a fire that was caused by faulty wiring in an old bathroom vent. Thank goodness Oscar was there and was able to tell the fire department what he had observed and what he believed caused the fire. I don't know what would have happened if he wasn't there to explain. His knowledge in all things home related is extensive and valuable to the home buyer. The inspection report was provided to me within 24 hours both times and included photos of his findings. Oscar was great. Me and my husband will be first time home owners so we wanted to make sure we found someone who was experienced and knowledgeable. Oscar was so professional, yet at the same time very personable. He was extremely thorough with his inspection from the foundation to the rooftop, to tiny missing screws that were easy to miss. I contracted Oscar to do an inspection for a new home I was interested in. Upon arrival, he was already there and I was 15 minutes early. He was easy to talk to, he was professional and very thorough. After his inspection, he pointed out several things I should know and to watch out for along with any recommendations. Oscar just did the home inspection for my daughter and son-in-law last night (first time home buyers). He was thorough, gave a great price and was extremely knowledgeable.
