What a waste of time. I called to set up an appointment and, to my excitement, they had one the very same day. I knew this was a place where they try to sign you up for a package, so I had the appointment setter clarify that I could get a single treatment. He was hesitant to give me ANY prices, but I persisted and he finally told me that it would be as high as $170 for a first time treatment (I told him which area I do). That was doable for me, so I went in for the consult. I went through the process of the nurse examining me and THEN had to go through the sales pitch. Long story long, it was gonna be $500 for a single session. I think it was $1800 for 9 sessions or something like that. I'm only in town for work, so I could fly home and go to my normal laser place for half their single session price. No thanks. Professional. Knowledgeable. When looking for a hair removal treatment, I wanted a company I can trust. Ideal Image only does laser hair removal (it's not just an item on a long list of services) and the people that perform the procedures are certified nurses. The consultants have had the procedure (I swear on all parts of their bodies!) so they are able to give first-hand experience and answer all the crazy questions. This is a horrible company!!! Don't go! They don't tell you there is a time limit to get your services in. Staff quit all the time. I went every time they had an appointment and I only received a fraction of my laser hair removal sessions. You will never get them. I've been waiting for appointments since January 2020 and they always get cancelled. I paid for 6 sessions of BBL and never received them. I am sure they will expire before they have appointments. WORST BUSINESS EVER! LIKELY COMMITTING FRAUD. I bought an annual membership and prepaid for BBL. The first appointment was two months later, but they cancelled it claiming one of their employees had a medical emergency. Given COVID, I accepted this and set up a rescheduled appointment. Then, they said the same thing for the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth appointments (of which two were reschedules). In every case, they claimed "medical emergency" -- sometimes TWO WEEKS in advance of the appointment. I tried to speak with a manager, but none are ever available locally or nationally -- the representative says someone will call me back, but that never happens. Seriously, what kind of fool do you take me for - this is nothing short of fraud. I have reported their behavior and lies to the New Mexico Attorney General's Office which handles Consumer Affairs. I am also filing for arbitration to get my money back for their illicit behavior. read more

Prior to Covid, I already complained 3 times about the services I received. The area I paid for laser hair removal was inconsistent by the nurses and they delivered rude attitudes. I liked 2 nurses and specially requested them during my appointments, but turns out they both had quit - one right after the other. That already shouldve been a red flag. As of today, I paid IN FULL another laser hair treatment, but during Covid, my appointments were cancelled twice. So, naturally I just waited until businesses opened back up a regular basis. When I called to reschedule my treatment, staff told me my contract had expired in 2020. MID PANDEMIC!!!! They offered extensions but THAT TOO expired. So, even though I paid in full for this service and only got 2 treatments out of 6, they won't reimburse or give me my remaining treatments unless I pay out of pocket. I was seen twice my children are older not 18 but in middle school they refused to see me while they wait in the waiting room I was told they couldn't be there and would need to wait in the car. I said ok then they said I couldn't be seen I would have to reschedule and refused to see me then scheduled me without my consent so I missed my appointments. Please ask this question before giving Ideal Image your payment, especially if you are paying the total cost upfront for cool sculpt. Ask them if they will be able to complete the contract within the time frame they give you and if not, can you receive a refund. I should of asked that, but I had no idea it would take as long as it has. I signed up for 16 cycles, which would of only been 8 visits to Ideal, easily done within the contract stating all cycles must be complete within 9 months, I signed up in March of 2021, by july, I was finally given my 3rd appointment. I had to sign another contract in December because they could not fulfill the first one. Here we are in September(18 months after first contract was signed) and I was finally down to my last visit, scheduled for Sept 12. I received an email saying they would have to reschedule that visit and they are scheduling for Jan, 2023!!!!! I believe they have a problem keeping the nurses employed there that do the cool sculpt from my conversations with them. The problem is, they are quick to take your money upfront when the know they can't fulfill the contract. It seems to be a common problem in reading the reviews. I wish I had done what Alisha M(review dated March 23/2022) did, It should of been a big red flag when I signed up in March/2021 and they couldn't give me an appointment until May/2021. I will be contacting the Better Business Dept next and Maybe Ideal Image Headquarters. People should be reimbursed when they are extremely disappointed with a service. read more

Do NOT waste your time dealing with this MedSpa. This by far has been one of my worst investments. The problems began from the very beginning. My treatment was originally supposed to begin 06/2020 but after cancellation and cancellation by them, I didn't get in until months later. Given how the pandemic was at the time, I did everything I could to be understanding but with an unsympathetic front staff and no manager on the premise, I got little to no comfort. I waited about 2-3 months in between each appointment only to walk in prepped in numbing cream to be told I wasn't on the schedule. To my surprise, the front desk cancelled my upcoming appointment when I had rescheduled the one previously. They basically shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. Zero apologies. I asked for a manager to call me and waited practically forever to get a voicemail from their manager. I called back, never got a response, never spoke to her. Awful experience with a new nurse who treated the same area for over an hour, I nearly passed out. My most recent treatment ended me in tears. My underarms were so swollen that I couldn't put my arms down all the way when driving home. Now, because of all their cancellations and errors, they had to extend my contract to June. Well, they cancelled both my upcoming appointments last minute this year and told me they're booking into July. Basically leaving me without all the treatments I spent good money for. They are the most insensitive human beings I've come to meet in my life. I'm usually easy going but I and everyone else is heavily being taken advantage of. I have as of yet to hear from this manager and I can honestly say, I have never been treated so awfully by a business. DO NOT COME HERE. They don't make it right. read more

I had to go back 3 times for a procedure to find out AFTER 2 other visits they could'nt preform it due to skin condition i had 40 years ago (brown spots from pregnacy), the first time i had more than 15 minutes of sun. If I could give them a 0 rating, it would still be higher than they deserve. I signed up & paid for 6 BBL treatments in June 2021. I have only received one treatment so far! The first appointment was cancelled due to staffing, rescheduled to a later date where I received my treatment. I went in for my 2nd treatment & was told that they think I actually have melasma so they couldn't give me the BBL treatment. Why did they do the first treatment then?! BBL can make melasma worse! I was instructed to go to a dermatologist to see if I did have melasma. They wouldn't continue with the treatments until then. I called to get a refund on the 5 treatments remaining & was told there's a no-refund policy! They could ONLY refund me if the dermatologist said BBL treatments wouldn't work for me. Not once did anyone at this place ever say to me that the treatments were nonrefundable! Do NOT go to this place! It's a complete scam! read more

I am completely a fan of laser hair removal! I would recommend it to anyone! I got my underarms, lower stomach (happy trail) and brazilian done for 4,000. I thought it was a great investment in myself. During my consultation I was under the impression that the price included touch-ups, as needed. That is not the case after your ninth treatment. To get all 3 areas touched up would be 200 dollars. That was disappointing because different hair follicles mature over time. So you'll always be needing to get touched up. I'm not sure if I would recommend Ideal Image? Maybe if their prices included free touch ups, at least once a year. Especially for the price they charge. read more

I went there for a cool sculpting consultation. The staff was super friendly and made me feel like this procedure would be great for me. I decided to do the lesser of the treatments they recommended and only did 4 instead of 8 they wanted to do. I wanted to focus on my stomach area. I paid the $2200.00 and went for my treatment and came out swollen and bruised black and blue for weeks. They said this might happen so I was prepared. When I went back in for my 60 check up I had gained weight and there was not a noticeable difference. They use different angles on the IPAD to make you feel like you look better. I thought for sure it was just me being critical of myself. Its been 6 months since the treatment and my belly still looks the same as it did. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! OMG what a nightmare! I just simply called to schedule an appointment for BBL. I have been there before,was evaluated,have rosacea, good candidate etc. It was about 2 years ago. Nothing changed-rosacea still there. Wanted to schedule. Not possible!!!! Why? Because they are not allowed to take payment over the phone and w/o a payment they can't schedule. Catch 22. First of all, the staff was friendly and never had a problem with the people working there, I only have a problem with the fact that I spent $9,000 on a face and neck treatment that did not work at all. I finished all treatments in September, 2014 and within weeks everything had grown back. I was the perfect candidate for treatments and and so upset that not only did I waste my entire savings but am still having to remove hair daily. It make me want to cry. I am so disappointed in the promised results of a years worth of laser hair removal treatments and I know for a fact that Iam not the only. Two of my friends also received treatments that were ineffective. If I can stop even just one person from wasting their hard earned money on this overpriced service then this review is worth writing. When I first signed up for treatments I was excited to learn that if there was any regrowth it would only cost me $120 to retreat all the areas I had already paid for. This ended up not being the case as later they told me it would be $120 per different area each time. This just seems unreasonable being I already spent $9,000 and will need $2000-$3000 worth of retreatments per year. Who can afford that? It just seems so unfair since it is advertised to be PERMANENT hair reduction, and mine grew back within just a couple of weeks after finishing the entire treatment plan. The absolute worst experience at Ideal. One, the treatments are expensive. We're talking thousands of dollars for what they lead you to believe is "permanent" hair removal. Within months of my last treatment I had regrowth. When I complained about the re-growth, I was told I would need to purchase another treatment package for another few thousand dollars.... They failed to mention that they can not treat any areas that have any tattoos so at least 25% of what i paid for was not treated. The treatments are painful. Like being hit with a hot staple for hours by a tech who obviously hates their job and will make you so uncomfortable you'll want to crawl out of your own skin. I was upselled and lied to about the treatments I would be receiving and when I complained to management, I received less than a professional response saying nothing less than I was S.O.L. The nurses messed up the line on my laser until I pointed it out at my second-to-last appointment. I wasn't that upset, thinking I could just continue to get treated until they had fixed it. Criminals! The Coolsculpting was extremely painful and left me black and blue after just 5 minutes of treatment. I had to beg the technician to take the machine of me as I was climbing out of the chair, heart racing, about to vomit and pass out, in sheer panic. She only took it off after shaming me, saying that I was the only person who could not tolerate the procedure. I found out later that was a lie! Another employee at the same location told me it happens all the time. The sales woman, Jennifer, refused to give me a refund and transferred the credit to botox and fillers. Then they refused me that treatment because I had a history of being treated for a possible skin cancer on my nose. It's been a year since I originally paid $7000 and I'm still being given the run around and refused a refund. Beware - there is no contact information for anyone with authority to hear a complaint or give a refund and during purchase they require you to sign a lengthy contract promising not to sue them. read more

First of all they lure you in by stating that you are getting a 50% discount or more. But in reality they always have discounts and there is no way anyone would pay the regular price. The discounted price is incredibly high coming out to several hundred dollars per session for only one body area (underarms or bikini) and with most discounts they require a 9 session contract. In my opinion the prices are too high. In the beginning I was satisfied as I was experiencing hair loss. However, enduring the painful treatments was not fun. Everything was going ok until my second to the last treatment. I went home and noticed within a few days that I had dark splotches/skin discoloration. I called them and they said oh sorry that happens sometimes your skin was burned by the laser but we had no way of knowing the setting was too high for you. I am told that this skin discoloration will "probably" go away. But if it does not I just paid thousands of dollars to ruin my skin. Additionally they promise you will be hair free and never use a razor again. which I am finding is not true. It does greatly reduce the hair but you may still have to shave every few weeks to get the fine hairs that still grow and didn't go away with treatment. read more

The Company has a very good sales person ill give them that. I did like the way they financed so you can use there product. There nurses that do the hair removal are horrible they treat you like dirt and pretend that you don't feel anything at all. I did ever appointment followed ever step they gave me to make sure I do not have hair. Every time I came in for an appoint I told them I don't see the difference they told me it takes time don't worry the hair needs to die off. I have now fulfilled the time allotted from them where I shouldn't have anymore hair on the areas. I have hair and even more hair than before. I have filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because this company is a SCAM. I should have listen to all the reviews because they guaranty satisfaction and treat you horrible when you question the services. They told me oh its blood hair on your arms.
