If I could give this place a -1000 star review I would!!! If you want Botox or laser treatment, find another place to go to and save yourself the hassle, disrespect, and mistreatment from this place that only wants to steal your hard earned money!!! I recently went through a separation and I had to move away from Jacksonville, FL. The closest Ideal Image location to me here is more than 50 miles away from where I am currently living and I just cannot drive that distance. Also, I had to leave my job in Jacksonville to come here and I currently do not have the funds to keep paying for laser treatments because I did the in-house financing for the laser treatment. I paid in full for my first laser treatment which was $252 on 12/1/24, I have made two more payments of $98.26 on 12/17/24 and 2/1/25. In addition, I paid in full $649 for 50 units of Botox on 12/4/24. I still have 9 units left out of those 50 units that are unused. I called on Monday 2/3/25 and spoke with Liz, the manager, to request cancellation of the laser treatment payments and asked for a refund for the last two payments I have already made and for the 9 units of Botox I have left since I will not be returning. In addition, I also never received the Alle points I was promised to get either. Liz did not care or wanted to help me in any way, frankly I think she is a very lazy manager. She blew me off by saying she would pull my file and call me back by the end of this week, which is now over, to see what she could do about cancelling and refunding me for services I am not going to receive anymore. I did not hear from her, so I called again on Wednesday, 2/5/25 and was not able to get ahold of her. I left a message for her to call me, she never did. I called again yesterday, Friday, 2/7/25 and no one would even answer my phone call, and it went to voicemail. I had to cancel my debit card to stop the payments from continuing coming out since Liz would not help me or even call me back. I personally believe these actions are defrauding me, and I am sure other clients are as well, so I will be reporting this to my debit card company. With this said, I am making an official complaint against Liz and the Ideal Image location at 4866 Big Island Drive #5, Jacksonville, FL 32246 with Ideal Image Corporate, the parent franchise company. I am also making a complaint about this location with the Better Business Bureau and writing this terrible Yelp and Google review for this location as well to help others to stay away from this place. NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED THIS WAY AND DISRESPECTED by a place that I have paid hundreds of dollars in support of. I have been going here for over 4 years and I don't have much experience with other laser centers other than this one but I can say that the it doesn't completely remove the hair. It will return but less than before. The area being treated plays a role in how much of the hair will grow back since it depends on your genetics and hormones. Very confusing situation. I scheduled a hair removal appointment for underarms, Brazilian, and legs. I arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment as requested. I was asked to pay $350-something ahead of treatment for all areas. I told her that I wanted to show the technician my areas of concern first before deciding if it should be full leg or just the upper. So I wait, I'm taken to the room 12 minutes past my scheduled appointment, meaning I've been waiting for over 20 minutes to be seen. Once the technician arrives, she tells me she only has time to do underarms and Brazilian, that legs are not scheduled in the system and she has lunch after. I ask her if she can squeeze in just the upper leg. She says, unfortunately no. I try explaining that there must be a mistake to no avail, so I let her treat the other areas. It had been 25 mins from the moment I walked into the treatment room to change to the technician leaving after treatment. I go to the front desk and now a different person is there. I ask her if I was scheduled for legs and I'm told I was only scheduled for Brazilian. I have no idea what is going on here. She offered no resolution or insight. This was my first time treating at this facility. They used an older Candela GentleMax Pro. The technician was nice and worked quickly. I won't know how thorough she was until I see the re-growth. Ultimately, treatment was fine but they don't seem to have their scheduling in order. This was a huge inconvenience for me since I live in another state and scheduled this appointment to take advantage while being in the area of an ideal image. I'm used to the Ideal Image customer service level in south Florida, Jacksonville is far from that benchmark. The slogan of ideal image we strive to help our customers feel their best and unlock their confidence, unfortunately that's not a possibility when the Jacksonville location is booked out 4 months and the Fleming island location is now only open 2 days a week. I paid in full for all of my treatments I had reservations on getting laser due to the treatment areas being located in my face. I was assured by (sales representative) that I would not have any hair left after treatments BUT if I did I could do touch ups. That is not a possibility when there's not available appointments for 4 months. If I could go back in time I would not have purchased the package with Ideal Image, and booked with another company. Based on the availability and customer service at both locations. Truly is far from the company benchmark. I also think it's INCREDIBLY sketchy that they encourage every guest to post a review (each visit) and they will give them a discount on their touch up rate. Does the laser work? Yes. I got laser hair removal and cool sculpting here. The cool sculpting made my hips uneven and lumpy. Before getting it done I voiced my concern that the machine they were using seemed too small for how long my hips are (im very tall) but they assured me it would be even. Now I'm left with these weird lumps on the bottom on both sides of my hips. They tried to explain it away as "loose skin". First all I was not nearly big enough to leave that kind of loose skins. Secondly, they then tried to say I had probably gained weight (I hadn't.). DO NOT recommend this procedure or going here. They didn't bother to help render the mistake. I got about half of my laser hair removal sessions, which went fantastic. Moved out of state and when I came back went back to finish them. After 4 more sessions I saw ZERO improvement to my hair growth. Again, they tried to explain it away and say it was because I didn't get all my sessions back to back and only did half, then waited and did the other half. Only problem with their story is that the first half of my sessions made me almost hair free. The second ones didn't touch the new and existing hair growth AT ALL. Before the hairs would get kinky and fall out. This time they grew and grew back like I never even got sessions done. I don't know if they changed their machines or what. This place is a total fraud and should be avoided at all costs. The front desk employees are rude. The sales consultant doesn't do anything when issues are brought up to her. The price is outrageous and they rope you in with a "life time membership" which sounds great, but in reality just sucks more money out of you because their stuff doesn't work properly the first time. Do yourself a favor and go to a real dermatologist and/or plastic surgeons office for all of this. I have more sessions there that I paid a couple thousand dollars for, that I won't even use. Total waste of my time as they make you wait MONTHS for an appt, and half the time cancel on you and say they'll reschedule you but don't. Rather have my money back. read more

This place is great for permanent hair removal. I've been going to them for five years. They just expanded and started offering other beauty treatments. They offer discounts, monthly and they also offer financing. The permanent hair removal will take a couple visits , each part of the body had a different price. For the hair to be permanently removed it depends on your skin, hair, and age. Be aware, once you start going hairless, you will be addicted. So, just remove it all. I do have other locations, The ones I know are in Jacksonville, Orlando and Las Vegas. They need to open a store in Hawaii so I can finish my treatments. read more
