I was recently diagnosed with recurrent Stage 3 cancer. I was first diagnosed in 2022, and after surgery, I was in remission until March of 2026. This cancer is highly aggressive and is very resistant to most treatments. Due to that and the many doctor's appointments and procedures I've had to undergo since, I requested a refund of the balance for my hair removal sessions, as I'm unable to continue them. I had only attended about 5 of the 10 sessions I had purchased when the location was Ideal Image. Since this location was originally an Ideal Image location and was recently taken over by Esthetica, Esthetica has refused to honor the Ideal Image contract and send me a refund. My original Ideal Image contract contains a clause allowing termination for medical reasons, but even though Esthetica owns the contract, they will not honor that provision. read more

I've been going here for over 15 years. I was going to lakeland office before they move location over in town center. They offer other things beside laser hair removal but I recommend that you shop around for prices. Back in the day they were the only one that did laser hair & wasn't pain as the other laser hair removal. The reason why I still go back to ideal image is due to maintenance program they have. I am a hairy very tan Hispanic women & my hair grows everyday. I've been looking to expand my laser hair removal to other areas but the prices are too steep. It's like I am paying for their rent, staff, & for the machine. The plus side is that the staff are so nice unfortunately they have a high turn around in their staff but everyone they get has been cordial & fun to talk to while my neck, chin, upper lips get laser. I would love to get my jaw line & under arm done but it still pricey. Even though I got back for laser hair for maintenance the price is cheap for maintenance. The place is clean. read more

I went to ideal image because I wanted to improve the appearance of underneath my chin. The procedure they used was called Cool Sculpting. This is a process where they give you two separate treatments where suction cups are placed underneath your chin, And the fat is "cooled" using a freezing technic. At the end of each procedure, when the treatment is done the portions of the skin and fat, are literally frozen which is supposed to kill the fat cells permanently over a period of time , which is supposed to cause your chin to thin out. I will tell you the process is very, very painful, as no anesthesia at all is used. Total process of Sculpting your chin is a total of two treatments once every three months with the final results being at the end of six months. The cost for me was over $4000. The results for me were absolutely no different than when I had started. Before and after pictures are taken throughout the process and I was very very disappointed. I did not gain any weight throughout the process in fact I lost some weight, but it was a complete waste of money, and very very painful on top of that. There may be some results when done to the actual stomach but I had no good results at all when it was done to my face/chin. I am now going to have to see a surgical doctor to get the results I'm looking for. Save your money and look for something else. The only real positive thing that I can come up with, is that the staff was incredibly friendly and nice and the office is nice too, but I have to give the grade where it counts the most, and that is the final results. 1 Star. read more

I'm disappointed to read the Yelp reviews. I have had nothing but a positive experience with Ideal Image. I began about 2 years ago with a FULL bikini (you know what I mean). I have had incredible results. Yes, there are a few errant hairs, but they are very blonde, and soft. Nothing like what grew prior to treatment. I have had the same positive results with my under arms, and have JUST started my legs. I am expecting similar results based on my hair color and texture. Yes, it's expensive. The package offered was to make sure they treated each hair at the right point in its' growth cycle. All of this is explained in the initial consultation before payment. Since this is something I have been planning for, I was prepared for the price tag. Ideal Image does offer financing, so if you want this, you have options. I followed all advice given by my NP, and made sure I kept my scheduled appointments. All in all, I am delighted with the results! This is not for everyone, but it has worked great for me. read more

Total rip off, way too expensive! My wife spent $2,250 to have the hairs removed from just a small section of her legs from the knee down to the ankle on the front of the leg only. After about 8 visits she still had hair growing back. They gave her (2) free visits after that but still not satisfied. Any time after that she had to pay for more visits. Also, between visits she had to wear long pants or dress and could have her legs exposed to sun. We live in Florida, are you kidding . . . For that kind of money I want all the hairs on my legs removed and guaranteed NOT to come back. The location that she used was in the Town Center in Lakeland, FL. I enjoyed my experience at ideal image and the services that they offer. It takes a long time to go through the process of hair removal which was a downfall for me. Do not waste your money. Spent over 2yrs staying out of the sun and getting treated. Started doing treatments in south Tampa and finished when Lakeland was opened up. Chest and back have just as much hair now as when I started going. They tried to blame it on everything. Their work is not guaranteed like they claim and they will not give you a refund. I wanted to start laser hair removal treatments but of course because they like to rip customers off they ONLY offer 9 sessions packages...they claim this is to guarantee their work...LOL...let's be real, its to rope people into over priced packages and lock them in. I could only commit to single sessions as I am not staying in the states past march, but they insisted they would only sell me 9 sessions...THey actually did me a favor however since I did have a consultation in Miami and was quoted 5000$ for two areas!!!!!!!!! Ive been doing underarm and brazilian hair removal since september 2014. Ive been going back and forth for scheduled treatments and I just finished my second to the last session days ago, May 31. I understand that itchiness would be a reaction of my skin, but seems like it depends on whoever handles my session. Last year around october 2015, i had too much pain during session causing too much itchiness days after. My skin looked swollen! I went back and showed them what happened but they will not give me extra sessions to make up with the damage. I am writing this to let people know what a joke this facility is. I will start by saying that the facility is very clean and very nice and staffed well. But that's just a front. On day one it's all how it works and how good it's going to go. Basically just selling it to you. Also that's way they do 50% and big discounts to keep getting people like me. Then it begins. They never tell how BAD it hurts and how much pain you are about to under go. Well let me tell you that it's the worst pain in my life and how you it feels like a laser is going though your skin and burning it off. Then they offer you a cream that's supposed to help numb the pain hahah that was a joke as well. Then if your anything like me you start to have reaction to it and they just tell you it's a small histamine reaction take Benadryl and you will be fine. the pain got to the point that my wife has to put ice packs on my back to help with the swelling. Please understand that anyone who say it dose not hurt is laying or working for them in some sort. I know people that work for the office and will not name anyone due to there agreement but they have told me that it's a rule that they can not talk about the pain and what it take afterwards to keep the hair way. And I meet this person after I had payed already. Wish it would have been the other way around. I would have never done it. They also don't tell you that the first 5 sessions are where the bill you for everything and the last five are touch up so the cant get you money back. Now they will tell you read your contract and blow you off and offer you a 100.00 contact fee to try to keep you quiet. Well I feel like if they really cared for there Business and there customer that this is not the way to handle it. I can keep going on about this.
