All we wanted was a haircut and minor highlights instead we got scammed!!!! When I called to ask about pricing we were told that "prices could not be provided over the phone" and not until completion of services. I thought that was a bit sketchy but went in anyways because this was not the first haircut or highlights I've gotten. I figured based on previous haircuts the cut would be around $25.00 and the highlights should be no more than $65.00 because again, I am a guy, with SHORT hair. After spending 5 hours in a chair watching this hairdresser named Elsie while she completed 8 different cuts between getting my hair "lifted". When we were ready to pay she proceeds to charge us $300.00 for both of us. I asked why so much and she said $25.00 for the cut and the rest was for the nightlights. I was afraid that if I didn't pay they would call the police. I felt completely taken advantage of. The practice of over charging for hair should be regulated and these so called hairdressers should not be allowed to steal from people like this. Please stay away from this place, find somewhere else and don't get scammed like I did. I am in the process of fighting this charge and will take this place to court if unable to resolve this matter.

She also said something like "when the customer is not pleased we offer alternatives". She said its a new machine but when i asked she didnt even know the name of it, said "i dont know" and just hung up on me. Due to that and the many doctor's appointments and procedures I've had to undergo since, I requested a refund of the balance for my hair removal sessions, as I'm unable to continue them. I had only attended about 5 of the 10 sessions I had purchased when the location was Ideal Image. Since this location was originally an Ideal Image location and was recently taken over by Esthetica, Esthetica has refused to honor the Ideal Image contract and send me a refund. My original Ideal Image contract contains a clause allowing termination for medical reasons, but even though Esthetica owns the contract, they will not honor that provision.

Five weeks later I had my first laser session with Fatima. She explained how easy the process was and I immediately felt confident in her. I have tattoos and so does she, so I asked her to compare the pain level. She was spot-on tattoos are maybe a 7, and laser hair removal was maybe a 2, or a 3 in the more sensitive areas. I had pretty much everything done except my arms, armpits, legs, and face. The process was incredibly simple, and Fatima was so kind and knowledgeable. Overall it was an amazing experience. Every staff member I've met here has shown incredible hospitality. I'm actually the GM of an extremely high-volume restaurant in an airport, so I have very high standards for customer service and I was blown away by the team here at Milan. If you're curious about my hair type and how well it worked: I have Italian roots and very thick, long, black hair. Sometimes I would have 2-4 hairs growing from the same follicle, which was incredibly annoying. Shaving was a nightmare and I dealt with lots of ingrown hairs and irritation. After just one session, I can already say my hair regrowth is down about 25%, and some areas haven't grown back at all (very small patches). From ONE session. I understand everyone is different, but wow this really works. I highly recommend this place to anyone!
