I was disappointed to recently learn that package deals have been available since January 2025, yet this was never communicated to me. I was recently told over the phone by an employee "Some technicians advertise the promotions during the service and some dont". As a loyal client, I expected better transparency, especially regarding cost saving options. I hope they improves its communication with clients to maintain trust and loyalty. It's been a while since I've been to Permanent Choice -- only due to my own tolerance being beaten down. The staff is beyond fantastic... I just need to suck it up and start going again to finish what they started. When I went for my first consultation, well, they realized I was going to need at least weekly visits for at least a year. Yeah, whoo hoo bearded lady Eastern European genes. Because of this, and because my hair is too light for laser so it would all need to be done hair by hair via electrolysis, they offered me a reduced price if I would be a model and if I would let myself be a guinea pig for training in a new electrologist. I went for it and did not regret it for a minute. (Note: a friend of mine went to a laser removal place elsewhere and was talked into a package of laser treatments. The problem is that her hair is red, and laser doesn't work on red hair -- she had no idea. The place still sold her the package and did the treatments. Completely unethical. Permanent Choice explained how both laser and electrolysis work right up front and why I would not be a candidate for laser.) I had 30 hour-long appointments before I had to take a break (hooray, interrupting life stuff). Seriously, you don't go somewhere that makes tears run down your face for 30 hours if they're not doing a fantastic job. I'm somewhere around 60-70% through what I need to get done, and the difference is beyond amazing. I have not a single regret about going to Permanent Choice. Now I just need to dig deep for my courage to spend another 20-or-so hours getting stabbed and fried in the face. read more

Living hair free & care free. Just returned from a long weekend boating, jumping in the lake and sitting atop a giant lilypad in a bikini with zero concern for all of my past body hair annoyances. I usually try not to complain but been If there were zero stars I would give it that... I had my upper lip & chin hair laser removal done by Sue which went well then I decided on getting microdermabrasion done. Sue assigned me to Jill. The first appointment was fine but in the 2nd appointment she scratched and burnt my cheek. When I saw it she kept saying that's what I wanted so it should be fine in 48 hours. It's been exactly a year and that scar is still there. When I contacted Sue about it intially she agreed to work on something for it but when she realized nothing was helping she asked me to go elsewhere to get it fixed and became very rude. But I still went for another session on upper lip laser to her and when I got home I saw a couple of hair remaining so I requested if I can come back to get that removed. Sue sent me a rude text suggesting I should go elsewhere for my treatment. The thing about permanent choice Eden Prairie is that they are nice till they don't mess up something for you. She told me that due to my description of my issue, the treatment would most likely be easier suggested electrolysis over laser, which i thought was impressive. I was super impressed by the way the place looks and feel when I walked in! I started going to Permanent Choice in Eden Prairie almost a year ago now. I was very hesitant at first but really wanted to remove the hair from my back as it was something that I have always wanted to do. I used to get waxed and that pain is just crazy to put yourself through! I started visiting Jennifer and she is AMAZING!!!! Very helpful, friendly and always making sure I'm comfortable! If you have been waxed, the pain is much less doing this form of Hair Removal! It is more expensive but there are immediate results that can be noticed! I have done 6-7 treatments already and the results are absolutely crazy, and were even after the first! I have been shocked on how there is no re-growth! I am usually not the one to complain about services, but I figured I should since I wasted a lot of money. I went to Permanent Choice for almost 2 years. I was getting my underarms and bikini area done and I am 22 years old, female. I paid well over $1500 and still have to shave! They kept telling me it was my age but I don't believe that is the only reason. I got around 12-15 treatments, all at the highest frequency (OUCH) and still to this day I shave quite a bit, my hair is less but there is a lot still left that grows in. Definitely do some research before you waste your money. The service people were nice but that is the only pro I can say about this place. I went to the Eden Prairie location. read more

I have had a wonderful experience with Permanent Choice. As someone who is prone to really fast hair growth and ingrown hairs, to not really have this problem anymore is awesome. I'm really happy with my results, as I rarely have to shave and my hair is almost completely gone, which makes sense since I am finishing up my last few sessions. I usually see Tracy, who is kind and comforting, because the process can hurt at times.
