I LOVE RADIANCE MEDSPA!!! My mom, sister, and I went to the Woodbury location of Radiance MEDSPA on a Saturday afternoon to get 60 minute facials. There is a large parking lot in front of Radiance and once you walk inside you are transported into Medspa heaven. They offer a wide variety of skin products in their front lobby and after checking in we were moved into their fireside room. We were offered drinks and time to use the restroom before beginning our appointments. For this 60 minute facial my esthetician was Rachel G. I asked her for a relaxing facial with derma-planing - this is an extra charge on top of the facial. She gave me an amazing face massage while washing my face and then moved into the dermatologist-planing & extractions. She then used face masks and while they marinated on my face she gave me a scalp, neck, and shoulder massage. Rachel G was a great esthetician and I am so excited to visit her again! read more

Full disclosure- I love spas and have been to more than my share of them. When I booked their Radiance Renewal Package (a massage and a facial) I was hoping this would be nice, but I did not expect to be as welcomed, relaxed, and impressed as I was. They are located in a retail space so upon first driving up, there is just a door at the far end of the building. But open the door and you are greeted into a gorgeous colorful oasis. The lobby is a nice size and they sell quite a few brands- Eminence, Obagi, Skin Medica, Neocutis to name a few. We did a cardinal spa sin and we arrived a few minutes late(!) but the front desk was very kind and calm about it and we started relaxing. The front desk person walked us into a lovely large waiting room and she offered us waters while we filled out our paper work. I was then taken into a consultation room by my aesthetician Kate where we talked about my skin and what I wanted out of the day. Honestly I was still concerned about the time -because of our tardiness- but she insisted we had plenty of time. That was so nice! After we discussed products I used we went into the treatment room. I was blown away by how pretty it was- lots of dark wood, a closet for my clothes and purse, and an electric fireplace. Many thoughtful little touches. My facial was wonderful. I had told Kate that I wanted to relax so we talked a little and then she did her magic. It was relaxing and perfect! She told me about a few specials they were having, and it was obvious she was very knowledgable about skin care, but she did not try to upsell me on anything. When we finished I went to the next treatment room for my massage. And that was equally lovely. Ping addressed my concerns and had the perfect touch. After the treatments I browsed the lobby and found a few products to purchase. Checkout was friendly. I will definitely be back. read more

I don't typically leave reviews because I don't want to be that person, but after the year I've had trying to fix the mistakes caused by this place, I feel the need to share my experience. Last summer, I went to Radiance Medspa, a place I had trusted for 5 years. Unfortunately, this time, everything went horribly wrong. My appointment started off on the wrong foot when my injector was over 20 minutes late. I went in expecting to stick with my usual Juvederm lip filler, but I was pressured into trying Restylane instead. I made it clear that I was willing to pay extra for my preferred filler, but I was upsold to 2 syringes of Restylane because of a "deal." My injector assured me it would give me the same look as Juvederm, but that turned out to be completely untrue. What I didn't know at the time was that injecting 2 syringes in one session is too much--something Radiance failed to mention. From the moment the injection started, I immediately felt that something was off. The technique was completely different from what I had experienced in previous years. It felt rushed, and I could tell that my injector wasn't being as careful as she had been in the past. Afterward, when I looked in the mirror, I was unhappy with the results and immediately informed my injector. But she quickly dismissed my concerns, rushing me out the door because she had another client waiting, stating she would "fix it" next time. When I came back, she added a tiny amount of filler to the corners of my lips to "correct" it, but it barely made a difference. Once my lips had settled and the bruising subsided, I could see that the filler had migrated outside my lip line, leaving my lips looking undefined and oddly shaped. I was gaslit into thinking it wasn't migration, and when I asked for a solution, they only offered to dissolve the filler--without refilling it. That meant over $1,000 I paid to plump my lips was completely wasted, and I would be left with lips that looked no different, if not worse, than before. I tried speaking to the manager, Megan, who was even more unhelpful. She dismissed my concerns, claimed my lips "looked fine" in her eyes and refused a refund. She even hung up on me. Months later, after visiting multiple clinics for consults, I learned that all of them confirmed what I suspected: the filler had migrated. I've had to dissolve the filler THREE times, and only now are my lips starting to look somewhat normal again. I want to make it clear that I'm not the type to complain, and I've always been happy with my treatments at Radiance over the last 5 years. But when I came to them for help fixing an issue caused by their injector, they refused to take responsibility or offer a fair solution. I trusted them, and they completely let me down when I needed them most. DO NOT go to Radiance Medspa. They don't care about their customers. They're stingy and unwilling to invest in fixing their mistakes--they won't refund you, and they'll only offer the easiest, cheapest solution that benefits them, not you. My experience has been an absolute nightmare. I've spent nearly $2,000 total on my lips this year, all because of a mistake they caused, and I feel it's important to share this so others don't make the same mistake. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration--choose somewhere else. read more
