These have been some of the nice people that I've ever met in my life so I called on the ninth which was Wednesday. I asked I said I haven't gotten a notice for my ketamine and she said you're good for the weekend. I said OK thank you so the phone call I never saw from when she called when I was on the ship on the fifth I came home I took Uber $37 one way I waited a half hour had taken another Uber home one way I called at 1 o'clock and I asked her what happened? She got a little snippy with me and said I called you and I tried to explain her that I didn't get the call and I have to tell you I was one of the first patients with pride ketamine two of the best doctors nurses PAs I've ever met, but my heart hurts because I got emotional three brain injuries. You would think that the staff would understand after all the years of dealing with patients so I talked to one of the lady's on the phone and I asked if I talked to Greg I was emotional so Greg got on the phone. Wouldn't even listen to me and I said I'm out and within 10 minutes they canceled all my appointments. They sent me a voicemail saying they canceled all my appointments that's what you call. Abandoning a patient. I look forward to these ketamine treatments every two weeks I don't knowI dont know what happened to Greg. If you look on another review, he has the same kind of pattern of being rude on the phone. But he did put an apology on them review and said he was sorry. So this is so heavy on my heart then I'll have to call the board and make a complaint abandoning a patient. You might not be able to get a lawyer to do something, but the board does not play around when it comes to abandoning patients you can't abandon a patient on the same day. PS I just want everybody to know. I'm just disappointed. I'm not mad at them because they're really good people. I think Greg might've been a little emotional and didn't know the whole story. These two men have built something from the ground up. I watched it while they were building it. They were going to Hawthorne barely get any sleep stand up late trying to help people sometimes I think they just grew so fast.

First consult w/Dr Watson for 30 min was informative on background of drug but didn't really get into 'why' I'm trying it. I did 3 session and each one was worse than the last as Tara the nurse, ie Dr Watson wife, used the needle for IVs as a weapon! 1st session: after treatment she helped me out of chair as said I could be dizzy and was nice and provided water 2nd session: I ended my 'journey' and heard nurse talking loudly even thru headphones and sat alone for 15 min; i pressed 'help' button and asked if possibly she'd forgotten about me and was met w/a snarky comment 'I was with another patient' to which I did hear her talking w/her and after that comment she just let me sit there alone for 10 min alone w/o saying anything so I went to bathroom and front desk asking for water. I asked to speak w/Dr ( for questions re something else) and Tara came out being really sweet, rubbing my back as she must of thought I was gonna complain. 3rd: Nurse Wratchet used same arm for IV as 2-days ago and I asked 'shouldn't you use other arm' she was curt and said 'no'. She couldn't find a vein she claims and jabbed needle into OUTSIDE of elbow and hurt like a mutha!!!Ended up using other arm and my arm was sore for a week as think she hit a ligament or something! End of session she again just opened door, turned on light w/o saying a word, no water offered and left me to sit and never after all the sessions did anyone ever come to ask how I was doing, take vitals or anything. I just walked out into parking lot. As far as they knew I could've been driving home! Overall, since then I've interviewed other clinics in town and they do provide vitals thruout session and chat w/you afterwards and ask you questions and have counselors in staff. I guess this clinic is basically a small, very small 3 staff operation family run business. I might add Nurse Wratchet used a cheap wrist BP cuff which always read high and when I told her my BP is always much lower she scoffed! No vitals during or after treatment. I do not recommend this clinic even tho Katherine is great as is the setup, but the nurse who you must deal with is not fit to be an undertaker in my opinion!

He ordered a prolactin test (which cost $150) and said he'd call me on Monday with results and next steps. There was some delay over the weekend -- he didn't call personally but sent a letter referring me to a specialist. I was initially frustrated and even drafted a negative review. However, he ultimately sent in the prescription for tamoxifen I had requested. I'm now starting treatment and hopeful it will help prevent further progression while I address the root cause. He listened to my concerns, reviewed my labs, and provided the medication once the additional testing was complete. Grateful for the help and relieved to finally have relief in sight without jumping straight to surgery. Thank you!

All my previous experiences were my choice by following yelp reviews. I was new to the area , I had no clue where to go so I relied on like folks to guide my needs. Each previous experience was different. Not knowing what to expect, I was soon another patient in the "workout" room with others with various aches and pains. From my previous therapies, I did feel like it was resolving, however the pain never completely went away. After months with little change, while almost resolving to accept my pain as my new norm, I turned to a surgeon to begin to seek out my steps to finalize the pain. I began that visit by seeing the Physician Assistant - a very knowledgeable and informative PA. His prognosis was one that would be a good candidate for Physical Therapy. Oh no!, I thought, here I go again. While I'm about to interject with my experiences, he quickly followed up with " you need to see the folks over at Orthomed"... what? Who are they?. He goes on to explain the individual hands-on technique that these folks employ in their therapy. OMG , From day one and throughout all my one hour, hands-on experiences, I can say that my pain has and is becoming totally manageable. If you have ANY need for a Physical Therapist, call or visit these folks for what's aching. You will be treated by the best in the area. I had been feeling under the weather from a mild cold I was recovering from, and I was about to go on a 3 day trip to Southern Cali so I wanted a boost before I left. Best decision! I walked into Thrive IV Wellness Lounge, filled out some paperwork, and was quickly brought back to the IV lounge area where Crosby (the IV Tech) asked me a few basic medical history questions and explained the options available and the benefits of each "IV cocktail". Since my goal was get a bit of an immunity booster it was suggested I get the Essential Cold Care IV pack which is packed with a ton of vitamins/upplements. Most people aren't needle fans, including me but I must say the insertion was actually easy and painless. I opted for the Covid Cosmo (now known as the Essential Cold Care) and the extra 500 ML saline solution ($25). I was surprised that it included: Vitamin C, B-12, B-complex, Magnesium, Zinc, Lysine, Biotin, Glutathione, Selenium & NAD+ and vitamin D. The price was only $200. After a gastric bypass in 2001 left me chronically dehydrated and unable to absorb vitamins/nutrients, leaving me with both nutritional and vitamin deficiencies. I've been having medically prescribed IV infusions for years and my out-of-pocket co-pay is always more than $200. I started with an email to Thrive Infusion IV Wellness Lounge asking for an IV infusion appointment for the following Wednesday for the afternoon. I was immediately contacted by Lindsey and confirmed for a 1:00. She texted me to confirm my IV selections, my appointment and gave me the address. She had the nerve to ask me, in barely discernable English, how I was able to schedule the appointment! If I wasn't able to, how did she get my phone number? This is terrible. All I wanted was a physical, some blood tests. Now I have to wait again for another provider to get me in. If you are not accepting new patients you need to update that on Anthem's website. I guess I should be grateful for the cancelation if this is how she runs her business.

I randomly got Dr Greenberg. I was happy I did because she is extremely thorough, answered all of my many questions, seemed very knowledgeable and is a direct, straight shooter doc. I appreciate this personally. That said, if you're looking for a doctor with great bedside manner, someone to coddle you...she wouldn't be a good choice for you. No warm and fuzzies. if you want capable and knowledgeable....she's one of the best I've seen in Reno!
