When I checked my Ring camera afterward, I saw that the technician only sprayed the front porch area and left within about 30 seconds. Despite that, I was billed for a full service that supposedly included both interior and exterior treatment of the home. This happened more than once. Each time, the footage showed the technician arriving, spraying only the front porch area very quickly, and leaving shortly afterward. There was no full perimeter treatment and no interior service performed, yet the charges reflected a complete service visit. I contacted the company to raise this concern and explained that I had Ring footage showing exactly what was done. I expected them to review the situation and either refund the charges or address the issue. Instead, I was told that the charges were still considered valid. That response was extremely disappointing. As a homeowner, you rely on service companies to actually perform the work they charge for. In this case, what I was billed for did not match what was done. Because of this experience, I would strongly recommend that customers monitor their service visits closely and review any camera footage if you have it. Transparency and trust are important when hiring a pest control company, and unfortunately my experience with Yates Astro did not reflect that.
