Terminix could not be worse. Again, exceptionally poor service from Terminix. Today we received a text that the technician was on the way to our home prior to the agreed service time and we were not home. This is the second time in a row that this has happened. The first time the technician showed up too early and then lied about the time on his report to make it look like he was here on time. What is the problem with the Boca Raton, FL branch? And we can not communicate with the branch. We call and have to wait 24-48 hours for a return call. What an awful business model. read more

Evaluation for termites led to house inspection where severe rat infestation in attic was found. I had not accessed attic for 3+ years, keep nothing up there. No noise, no rat activity noted by me inside or outside house. But rats were happily homed in my attic. John Neal, James Wilson & Timothy Pittman did an amazing job with removal of rats, debris, old insulation, spraying in new insulation. Soffits recovered. Roof access sealed. Additional traps out. One way exit for any stragglers. I am completely horrified by the extent of rat event and immensely grateful for the guys from Terminex. Don't purchase the attic installation. We just finished paying for a brand new HVAC system (not even 3 years old), the terminix installers cut our duct work and tried to get awa0y with it by wrapping it with tape . I called and reported it, the lady said they would send someone and they haven't. They haven't even called me back to give me an explanation of what they are going to do about their workers mistakes, but they keep withdrawing those payments. It's springtime now and getting close to time to turn the air on and I won't have any in my bathroom. I want to warn everyone to inspect their work, especially if it's in the attic, better yet don't use them for this type of service. read more

I've spent $7K on attic rats for them to leave holes in my ceilings. wait three months for them to patch the holes and they have yet to paint my ceilings after 4 months. I have lived in my home for 17 years and have always used Terminix for termite control. Awhile back, I decided to get more attic insulation to help for energy cost savings and found out that Terminix had a pest and rodent control chemical built into the insulation so I thought that was a great idea and went for it. Then, Terminix mentioned that with the Exclusion Package that would patch any openings that might tempt large rodents from getting inside the attic so I went for the package and am paying for it. Before the insulation, a few roaches would enter the house but would soon die and you would see them belly up. By a few, I mean when it would rain, I would see 2 roaches a month at most and they were dead. Even if I opened a cabinet that hadn't been opened in a long time, no bugs at all. After the insulation and exclusion package, roaches and german roaches are everywhere! Whenever I mentioned this to Terminix, all that I get is a script about a package. And my friends that I have over say the same exact thing to me! Something is off here and I feel like I'm being swindled. I've decided to go with a different company to control this new problem. read more

We hired Terminix to complete an exclusion service for our house and we are now coming up on a year since the start of that service with an incomplete job. We paid an exorbitant amount of money to have the services complete and now are facing major damage to our house due to the poor service received. The pests have not been exterminated, and have caused additional damage to the house due to the "exclusion" Terminix technicians have completed. Over the course of the year we have had 4-5 technicians come out to our house. Each time the service technician was different and did not seem to have a report or gauge on what had been completed by the previous technicians. Lack of communication seems to be a major issue not only from the service to the customers but also within Terminix's establishment. The over all dissatisfaction with Terminix's service is the result of an inability to get in touch with a human to talk to in order to address the issues we are seeing as well as a general poor quality of service received. I would absolutely NOT recommend this pest control service to anyone. Definitely regret choosing Terminix. read more

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD!! If I could leave zero stars I would. A representative came to our door asking if we needed service. I had just moved into a new house and was excited about getting pest control. I scheduled my first appointment and was told to be home for the time slot (a few hours) that the guy would come and spray. I scheduled my whole day around being home for my appointment and waited for the entire time slot. I got a no show and no call. When I called back the same day to see what happened, they told me the guy couldn't make it out and had taken it upon himself to reschedule me without talking to me and on a day I was working. I was so put off by this poor communication and the no show that I asked them to just cancel everything. Apparently the man still showed up when he wanted to without my knowledge and Terminix is still attempting to collect 99 dollars from me for the service that I had canceled. It is months later and I am still getting phone calls about paying. I have spoken with 6 or so different representatives about what happened and how unhappy I am and none of them noted this! They continue to call and harass me even after I have spoken with a manager 3 times who said they would handle this! DO NOT USE TERMINIX! read more

The "local" number routes you to a call center where you get transferred to 7 different people, none of which communicate your issue to the next person. I cant even think about beging with anything. But here it goes, I had another service that i used then went with the more economical in price in pest control and I only seen one or two bugs in my house and freak out, 6 months ago and called terminx to treat my house with a contract every 3 months they come out and charge me 75.00 every three months, and now im about to get a hotel after less than 6 months of service and having them out over 6 or 7 times since, i have thousands of the critters in my house. This is unacceptable! They must be feeding them instead of exterminating them. Not only that, the tech spread granules in my house behind my freezer, dishwasher and under my sink all over everything ( i had to a wash all of my dish cloths that were under my sink and move them) and in my laundry room behind my washer and dryer. I don't know anything about pest control but i don't think this is what happens! Not only that I called them Friday to have someone come out immediately and was supposed to have a call back the next day and did not get a call. Terrible scheduling, had a time line for someone to come to my house between 10am -12pm, got a call from a guy from Terminix at 10am telling me he could not make it, due to over scheduling. This is an ongoing issue with this company. Several times this has happen to me and one more time and they are gone. So i reschedule my day and a different guy shows up at my door to do the inspection. Another thing the company never calls and confers with you the customer what would be the best part of the day to do this, it is just a robo call. read more

I am disappointed that I have to leave 1 star- I would much rather leave nothing at all. The Terminix employee that came to treat the property I reside at was incredibly rude. The first scheduled appointment was between "3-5pm" however the Terminix employee arrived at 7pm & did not even treat the property. The treatment only takes "four minutes." The reschedule was made for an inconvenient time that called for taking time out of my work last minute. The employee disregarded our questions in concern to the treatment & what was going to be done- refused to relay information & wanted to come into our home- I felt extremely uncomfortable that the rude Terminix employee inside of my home. The "rolling eyes" and snide, condescending remarks poorly reflects this company, or at least in Savannah/Pooler, Georgia. I would not recommend this company to anyone. You're probably better off seeking other companies help or treating your home yourself. read more

When selling my house I called about termite damage found during the WDIR. After many calls, texts, photos of my contract, I could not get scheduled for the 'retreat & repair? stated in my contract. I had to pay $750.00 for a new company to inspect, treat, and repair my property or void the sale contract. I called the local number which went directly to a National hotline in the Philippines. Calls: 1/21, 1/23, 1/24, 1/27. Finally on 1/24 Brian Flynn the Manager (912-509-4471) of the Pooler Terminix called and said that he would be happy to service my property but I had to pay an additional fee. I told him no, that this was new damage and that Terminix was responsible. He said 'No, that it wasn't in my contract.? I took a photo of my contract and sent it to him by text. After repeated calls and texts he stopped responding, putting me off on Jerry, his Service Mgr. I never spoke to Jerry or Brian again. I paid $1,510. initially on 5/3/16 and $360 to $410 yearly for the service, warranty, and annual inspection last done 4/23/19. When needed, they refused to honor the contract. read more
