I went here for my 15th birthday back in November and I took seven people with me and the price for three hours at the bowling alley was dirt cheap. Then there was the food. The wings were awesome the pizza was awesome and their fries were awesome and so were their lemonade. Also, there was the arcade had a lot in there. It was super clean, by one of the best arcades I've ever been to. I actually won the jackpot on one of the games. I'd pay good money to give it 6 stars because the experience was unforgettable. read more

workers were absolute jerks to us it was two ladies at the counter and did not have any customer service. on top of this the slot machines where complete scam NEVER USE THEM whoever set them up made it impossible to win and just want to steal your money. never go to this bowling alley the worst customer experience i have ever experienced read more

Failed to tell us online that after 9 we either need a group of 3 or a group of 6 to get a cheap price on bowling. So they made us pay extra money than we thought we needed and almost didn't have enough. Also they falsely accused us of "walking down the aisle" and "walking behind the food station". Keep in mind they believe this happened a few weeks ago with us. Which truthfully never happened. They then did not let us into the arcade because of this false accusation. We decided to go bowling for a couple of hours on a boring Saturday afternoon. Upon walking in it seemed like there were some recent renovations. The building and areas were very bright and clean. The restrooms were very clean as well. The shoes and balls also all seemed very well cared for and new. We were very surprised. Although we didn't order anything from the snack bar the menu looked very impressive for a bowling alley. I think next time we'll order some food. Perhaps our only complaint was in the arcade tickets aren't physically received. Instead somehow they automatically transfer to your card. Or they're supposed to. We took quite a few tries at one of the claw games winning approximately 1200-2000 tickets but when we went to redeem them the woman said we only had 100. We explained what happened and the manager went back to the machine to inspect. I'm not sure what happened but she told them to credit us 1500 tickets. I'm not sure if that was accurate but it wasn't worth fighting over. In the end we had a nice day bowling and playing the games. read more

. For anyone that's there for the tournaments the food that used to be at the snack bar is at the warehouse called G&M's at the warehouse. The new guy at the snack bar doesn't have anything good to eat. But I heard him making comments to his staff threatening to charge them for a mistake. I know that you can do that ,But normally that's not done in jobs that don't pay the best. That snack bar used to be a friendly happy place to go to. Not anymore. This is a really awesome bowling alley that is really modern. They have a ton of lanes as well as a side room with more lanes. They have a really cool arcade and a indoor mini golf course. I would definitely recommend coming here for a fun time bowling. read more

Came to eat here after hearing how great the new kitchen was. Food was ok but the prices were high. 2 orders of boneless chicken wings, 2 fries- one with cheese, one slice of pizza, 2 medium sodas =$31.00! Was here over the weekend for a bowling tournament with friends and it was a very nice bowling alley! I did not bowl too well but that's not this places fault. Comparing it to other alleys in and around the area, well easily 4 stars. This place is decent in overall quality and the lanes were well kept and they had a nice little cafe right there attached to it which did provide a decent quick and cheap meal. From my perspective this is a good bowling alley to go to in the area and one of the better for a tournament. read more

Came here to play the indoor glow mini golf, I've never seen indoor mini golf before and wanted to check it out. It's underwater themed and the walls were awesome, and there are sweet black light shark statues. However, it was pretty expensive for how short, easy, and kind of boring it was. The worst part though was the smell. It smelled so bad of urine, it was disgusting. It was almost unbearable. I can't believe they have kids parties in a place that smells that bad. I don't know why a parent would pay for that. In all, it was cool to see it, but I wouldn't ever go back. read more

Staff was very rude and cold. They were super rude to my friends and I since the second we walked in the door, and also trying to push us out the door 20 minutes before closing time. While my friends and I were in the middle of our last game the man working the counter came up to us and told us that one of us hadnt paid so they were ending our game 2 rounds early when every one of us had paid. Not a fun experience, the staff really put a damper on our time. read more

I recently purchased a bowling ball through idol hours pro shop. not only was ron helpful, but he took the time pointed me not to the most expensive ball, but the ball that suited me best. The first ball i had was drilled by a different pro shop and it was drilled incorrect for my hand. if i can make a recommendation i would buy a ball from them again. they are very knowledgeable and treat you like a pro. The total for our bill 19.40 and the woman at the counter says 20 minimum for card purchase. We then had to use their atm and pay a 1.75 fee plus our normal bank fee just to pay them cash. That's not how you keep customers coming back. read more

I use to live in the area and my family usually has a bowling night whenever my boyfriend and I visit, but I was really disappointed in Idle Hour this time. My mom lives in Carbondale so we normally end up at the bowling alley near there, but on our way back from the mall we decided to stop here and the service was just sub-par. The lady that gave us our lane barely spoke to us and even when we left we got barely a grunt before we walked out the door. read more
