Fun place in the Poconos. They have mini golf, golf range, old school arcade, paint ball and rides for kids. Our group of 10 played the mini golf course. Good course with simple but fun and sometimes difficult holes. Very fun for families.

Fun little spot to take the kids to kill time and get out there is plenty to do, the service is friendly they have ice cream also have mini golf, bumper cars and a trampoline and a golf hitting range.

Played mini golf on a weekday evening. It was busy despite threats of rain. Tricky course that requires many straight and/or low shots. Carpet could be in better repair. Several other businesses on site, including an arcade, bumper cars, bungee trampoline, golfball driving range, ice cream shop, etc.

Great for families, friends, or a cute date. My kids (ages 4 and 6), mother-in-law, and I enjoyed spending a Tuesday morning here while on vacay. We played 18 holes of mini-golf where they offer kid- and adult-sized putters and 20 golf ball colors. Next, we bumped around with motorized bumper cars. Each was steered with two handles with which my 4-year-old had a slight struggle, but we all had fun. Then we played at their indoor arcade where we played skeeball, rode a motorcycle through Dubai and Monte Carlo, won candy with a grab-machine, and played other arcade games (some for tickets). While most of their games were for slightly bigger kids, mine still enjoyed a handful and were able to redeem a couple small prizes. For our entire visit, we never had to wait for staff and they were really kind. Good times guaranteed!

If you find yourself facing a rainy day in the Poconos; this is one place you can take the kids. It is is a cross between old fashioned video games inside and more modern things, like bumper cars and mini golf outside. They sell ice cream and soft pretzels and pizza slices in their snack shack. I gave it 3 stars because the games kept taking my quarters and not working, also you have to look for the real price under the old price posted. Still I think my kids had fun that day and that's what matters most. If the owners are willing upgrade this could be a Great place instead of a OK place.

Fun way to kill a little time with a group of kids while on vacation. Mini golf 18 holes, driving range, bumper cars, arcade and some more. We mainly came for the mini golf. There were 18 holes. Basic nothing crazy. There was a trampoline that kids were attached to and could jump and do flips on. There is bumper cars. They are a circle and I think only 4 cars because it is a small area they are in. Inside there is an arcade where you can win tickets and get a prize. I saw an ice cream place but we didn't go. Also looked like they had paintball and a batting cage. But I didn't go look at them so can't really say how they were. All and all it was fun for the families we were with. Probably could have spent more time and money there but we had some time restraints.

Good place if you have kids. My husband and I went for mini golf, and it was worth the money. Not a great course, but good enough for the price. We chose only to do the mini golf, but there was also a deal for paint ball, a range, mini golf, etc. If we were with kids, friends, or family, we definitely would have done the deal. It's a great value for a small price. As just the two of us, all we needed/wanted was the mini golf. We did help ourselves to some ice cream, which I definitely recommend. There is a great range of concession stand food and a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings. Overall, not a bad place to stop by, especially since there isn't much else around. We would go again, and I'd recommend it.

Literally the best $5.50 I've ever spent

Okay, this place is the BEST!!! Came here for a fun bachelorette weekend and we stumbled upon this place by accident. Decided it'd be fun for the bridal party to get in on some fun and games and we were not disappointed. There were so many activities to choose from! We pretty much did them all. I highly recommend the "trampoline thing" and yes that's what it's called. The batting cages, mini golf, and arcade were also a great time. Cute snack stand attached as well which allowed us to enjoy some treats. Another plus was how friendly the staff was. However the very best thing about this place was the affordable prices. Pretty much every activity is under $6.00 which is unbeatable. It's great for groups and families. Also pretty clean too. Definitely worth checking out.

A multi-activity outdoor amusement center which has very good variety of activities and friendly staff but somewhat indifferent maintenance and middle of the road bargain for the buck in terms of entertainment value. Mini-golf: on the big plus side, an originally-designed course with a lot of character; on the down side, poorly-maintained. Less fun than a barrel of monkeys as a result. Paint Ball: pretty generic, just firing a gun at targets, nothing more that that. Bumper cars: I'd love to see them increase the area for the bumper cars, kids love it but there's not much space for maneuvering before bumping. Bungee-Trampoline: wasn't entirely certain the safety restraints were enough here, 200 lb weight limit which eliminated me about 9th grade. Batting cages: baseball from 45 MPH up. Tired equipment and machines that kept getting clogged, and you're just hitting into a net. Arcade: The arcade doesn't have much variety and the prizes all require a TON of tickets to win anything. The verdict from the younger members of the set was that they enjoyed it and would come back for some of the things, but it wasn't theme-park-enthusiastic. Which is about what you'd expect for a middle-of-the-road day out, maybe more expensive per kid than the movies but with outdoor activities that mostly required some physical play, probably better for them.

Melissa M.

This place is really fun and well managed. The $20 per person package is a great buy! In the package you will get 2 rounds of mini golf, paintball shooting, hit 50 golf balls, two times on the bumper cars and an ice cream with sprinkles. We had a blast as 2 adults,I will return with my kids.

We arrived around 10:30AM (park opened at 10AM). Rented 2 lockers to hold our dry items, you either need to use a card or use exact cash - small lockers are $10 and large lockers are $12. That gains you access to the lockers for 24 hours, with as many in/outs as you need. There was a decent crowd but not overcrowded. We easily found 8 lounge chairs together to place all of our towels and flipflops down (we highly suggest wearing flipflops to the park). The kids enjoyed the non-working wave pool, the 3 slides, wave rider (surf machine). The adults enjoyed the hot tub. The wave pool and wave rider had warm water, the hot tub had hot water. Two of the slides are for 1-2 riders and one of the slides was for 3+ riders. The water for the 3+ riders was rather cold but the slides also go outside and this is the middle of January. The hot tub only allows those 18 and over, which was a nice treat for the adults. There is a tiki bar inside the water park with margaritas, frozen drinks, and beer - a decent mix of options. The bartender was extremely friendly, as were all the staff. There is a food stand with a large mix of options and the food was okay, with typical prices for this type of revenue. Everyone had a good time and we ended up spending 6 hours total at the water park. All in all, it was well worth the admission fees and is a place we would return to.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Camelback Resort over Memorial Day weekend…read morewas disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it. My family and I checked in on Friday and were scheduled to stay through Monday. We arrived in time for the advertised 4:00 PM check-in, only to find the resort completely overwhelmed. After waiting approximately an hour and a half, our room was not ready until nearly 6:00 PM. On Saturday, we spent the day at the indoor waterpark and rented Cabana 1. The highlight of our trip was our waiter, Andre, who provided exceptional service and was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the day. Unfortunately, the rest of the weekend took a turn for the worse. Later that afternoon, my daughter began feeling unwell and developed a fever. I went to the resort gift shop looking for children's Tylenol or ibuprofen, only to discover they carried neither. For a family-focused resort catering primarily to children, I found it surprising and concerning that basic over-the-counter children's fever medication was not available for purchase. When I asked for assistance, I was handed a first-aid packet containing aspirin, which is not something I would ever give to a child. Because my daughter's fever continued to rise, we made the difficult decision to cut our vacation short and return home that evening. Before leaving, we arranged for bell services to assist with our luggage from Room 529. I personally packed all of our belongings and helped Evan, our bell boy, load everything onto the luggage cart. Once home, while unpacking after tending to my daughter, I realized a mesh bag containing several items was missing, including my husband's Burberry swim trunks, my daughter's RuffleButts swimsuit, and her water shoes. The following day, I contacted the front desk, Lost & Found, and asked to speak to Evan at the bell services department. My information was taken, and I was told someone would call me back. No one ever did. I followed up again several days later and received the same response. No manager was available, no Evan, no answers were provided, and none of our belongings were ever recovered. While losing personal items is frustrating enough, what was most disappointing was the complete lack of follow-up, accountability, or customer service. Not one person contacted me as promised. Not one manager reached out to address the situation. Between the delayed check-in, lack of basic children's medication availability, and the disappearance of our belongings followed by zero communication from management, this was not the family vacation experience we expected. I can overlook mistakes. I cannot overlook poor customer service and a complete failure to address a guest's concerns. Sadly, after this experience, I would not return to Camelback Resort.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the vibrant atmosphere that felt both family-friendly and tailored to adults. The water park was a huge hit with our two girls, offering a wide array of slides that catered to all ages. Whether it was the thrilling rides or the relaxing wave pool, there was always something to keep the whole family entertained. One standout feature of our trip was the food. In previous resort experiences, we've often found ourselves disappointed by the dining options, but Kalahari shattered those expectations! The variety and quality of meals were truly exceptional. From quick snacks and Starbucks coffee, to gourmet meals at one of their multiple restaurants, every bite was delicious. It was refreshing to find such a diverse menu that pleased my wife, the kids, and me. We also appreciated the thoughtful layout of the resort. It was easy to find comfortable places to relax, and while it did take some hunting , we did manage to find a table each day. The array of jacuzzis was another bonus, with both family-friendly and 21-and-over options. Overall, our stay at Kalahari Resort Poconos was filled with fun and memorable moments. If you're looking for a place that offers a perfect blend of excitement and comfort, this is the spot!

I'm still here at Kalahari Pocono Pines…read more Day-1 We arrived Monday morning at 10 AM. Check-in was fairly easy because there was virtually no one else here yet. When I passed the check-in 2-hours later... The line was very long and the same person was working. They definitely need more people there. I went to use the ladies room after checking in and it was extremely dirty. The cleaning cart was there with no attendant. Went to the indoor waterpark which opens at 10 AM because it's raining outside. The outside was closed. It's the usual indoor waterpark nothing special. The Jacuzzi. Where can I begin? It is an indoor outdoor Jacuzzi. Meaning, you can go straight from the inside through a passageway into the outside. On the inside section.... Only 3-lame-jets were working. PACKED With kids. Outdoor section NONE of the jets were on. I asked the "lifeguard" why the Jets were not on. He said do you want them on? I asked him if he knew the difference between a Jacuzzi and a pool of hot water. He said he would turn them on ... he never did. I cannot emphasize enough, how many children were in there. From a few months old to pre-teens. Horsing around.... I scooped this one girl up that was about to drown 4-years old. She was allegedly being watched by her 12-year-old sister. Her mother was so grateful. Why is the mother not watching her own 4-year-old? I am appalled by this Jacuzzi experience. Hey Kalahari.. Do you think you can have something just for adults? Do the kids not have enough activities to enjoy? No? Do you know how "unhealthy" A Jacuzzi is for children? They have these rules for the kids in the Jacuzzi. Nobody is adhering to those rules, not even the lifeguards. What lifeguard? Jacuzzis are for adults!!!!!!!! We had the buffet for breakfast. We arrived at 11 AM. They close at 12 noon. It was $30 for adults. And $20 for kids under 12. By the time we got there It was slim Pickens. You should not charge me the same amount as everybody else who got more variety before me. Was not impressed with the buffet at all. On the upside. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Except of course, for the lifeguard who doesn't know the difference between a Jacuzzi and a tub full of hot water. And most importantly, is not adhering to the rules setforth for children in the Jacuzzi. I saved a kid from drowning today.... He should be fired. We will be checking out tomorrow at the prescribed 11 AM. I will add to this review at that time.

This was by far the laziest housekeeping people we've ever encountered in our lives -- instead of taking the requested dirty towels away and replacing them, they left everything on the ground and just dumped a pile of towels on the sink. Additionally, they barely made the beds -- the sofa bed was ignored while the main mattress' sheets were all touching the ground. Only the kids bunks got remade properly. We passed other rooms and it looked like they actually made the beds, so we probably got assigned the world's laziest person. Food: buffet food is meh. Restaurant food a step up.
