My first call I asked why my information was not showing in the IRS database for filing records and they mentio that my taxes were not submitted because they forgot to send my the site to pay. At this point I knew I would have to avocate for myself. The company does not follow up with the clients. Every time I called they needed a new form to be signed or needed another piece of information. They never took the proactive approach of reaching out to gather missing information. I could go on about my experience from beginning to end but to save you time and money just avoid this company all together.

She was open and patient filling out everything else for me, trying to save me whatever money she could. I felt like everything was well taken care of with her. This was very convenient; instead of sweating over the details myself, I was able to schedule a time with her within a week and she went through everything with me. When my check cleared, she filed all of my forms for me and gave me a neatly-packaged copy for my records. I think Hauman was cheaper than H&R Block would have been, but the latter didn't want to give me a quote until they'd looked at my information with a "specialist." I got my return within a couple weeks and I'd definitely run to Stephanie again if my taxes become complicated!

I tried Hauman Accounting at the recommendation of 2 people. Hauman was great. yes it cost just a bit more than doing the taxes by myself. Now it is just a BIT more. It was about $40 dollars more with all of the online fees and advertising that the do it yourself tax prep. software gives you now. I also have the peace of mind that a knowledgeable person that is up to date on the new tax laws is doing my taxes. will be a returning customer.

Let's start with the fact Michigan apparently doesn't offer a guaranteed renewable policy, I received this because I still have never in my life had an at fault accident. You would think if you are going to lose something that important a call might be made to update you on such a loss to give a heads up. I still have this on vehicles in Florida. No such consideration. I had to call to ask. I had drive and save in Florida. The transponder was in the vehicle when it was relocated to Michigan. It was inactive when the new policy went into effect. Elizabeth never bothered to share after my calling over 3 times and emails sharing concerns a new responder wasn't being received in the mail that the current transponder could have been updated in the system. It never occurred to her during my multiple calls and emails to her that hey, maybe we can use the one you have. I considered Elizabeth as someone who is supposed to know such things. You know, maybe help things go smoothly with support. April, well she she made the elegant excuse (mollification) that they sent 3 transponders and you didn't activate them in time so your policy is now an extra $15 a month for the next 3 months. "There is nothing we can do." Not even an I am sorry or expression of concern in her voice but instead defensiveness and simply excuses. April is the office manager by the way. I never received bills to even be able to make the second monthly payment. I had to again call Elizabeth so I wouldn't be late and was told to call the 800 number. Some confusion then ensured by her about how to set things up so I could get emails to be aware of policy changes and billing and some grumbling about how my daughter is currently getting such information. As someone who the primary person paying the bills, this is important to me. My Miami, Florida office made at least 2 or 3 calls to me in the process of transferring this vehicle to complain about this office to me over the course of a over two months from the time of beginning the vehicle transfer! The last one being a little over two weeks ago that began with what are they doing over there.... FINALLY, a transponder is received by mail after my multiple calls and emails by me to the Campbell agency. Of couse, the information for activating the transponder also turns out to be an overly time consuming nightmare or at this point circus. My daughter was activating it because at this point I am back in Florida. She is a driver on the vehicle. Multiple attempts to activate it. I finally thought to check my email. Oh, imagine that, her phone isn't properly linked to her email. Again an excuse from April. However we had the same setup when the vehicle was with my daughter in Orlando and managed by the Miami office. Never an issue when managed in Florida. I also received proper updates to pay the bill, never any issues or such clusters while also having her on the account and having her manage the transponder. So, back to the extra $15 a month due to the circus related to the transponder. Tom can't fix it, but corporate has sent an email for follow up by him if possible with his underwriting department. I am waiting on a call from him. What do I want, accountability. I am not the subject matter expert on any of this. I did my job as the client. As an agency, do your job a little better. If this is unable to be rectified in the system why should I stay and allow another error to cost me money that the local Thomas Campbell agency can't fix? Regarding the need to match my daughter's information to her account so there are no issues keeping the transponder up to date, that is in the final stages of being fixed by corporate where I have not received excuses, but appropriate action. It has again however required over an hour of my time because they even witnessed the problem with the account information as verification took over 30 minutes. Why, oh we figured out the Thomas Campbell agency had my phone number actually saved as my daughter's for the vehicle I have in Michigan. In conclusion as I write this review, this is still ongoing to complete details to have things up to date. My daughter has to call corporate so they can verify her and properly match without excuses her information to the account so the transponder can easily be maintained by her when I am not physically present in Michigan. Because again I fear any issue will lead to the loss of the discount and the local office has been unsuccessful in setting this up in a manner that would be considered to go relatively SMOOTHLY. This should have NEVER in my opinion been so disorganized. The excuses are what have bothered me the most. Tom offered at one point a gift card to a restaurant for my daughter.
