Want to start out by saying that the service is good and the people I spoke with at the front desk and over the phone were very nice. I brought my MacBook in 2 weeks ago after it took a fall off my kitchen counter and cracked resulting in a black screen. They quoted me around $400 and it was fixed within a day. I picked it up and the total was $453.69. Not too far off and I know MacBooks are pricey and it was super fast service so I didn't mind. Now today I was putting my case on and applied just enough pressure to snap it into place, nothing I hadn't done before (I have had this laptop since 2021 and have put a few different cases on) and when I opened my screen it was cracked in the corner and the bottom/ side of my screen is glitching. Mind you it had a screen protector on. I brought it in to see if they could fix it under the 90 day warranty and the tech in the back said it was not under warranty since I cracked the screen. It's really upsetting that I spent all that money for a low quality screen that lasted 2 weeks. The guy at the front desk was very apologetic and nice though. I just wish the screen was of comparable quality to the original. GREAT SERVICE!! Apple was gonna charge me $500+ to replace the motherboard in my MacBook air. I took it to IFIX because i know how incredible these professionals are. Beau was extremely helpful and courteous. He took the time to take the cover off and dignose the issue with me still there, only to realize the problem was just a screw in the way of the connection. I went in to their store a few days ago after going to 2 other places and Amy helped me get my broken S Pen out of my Android that had gotten wedged in. I was panicked that I would have to have it taken apart and it was a brand new phone. My warranty would have voided if they had to take it apart but Amy came to my rescue and was able to get it out and didn't even charge me! She was so awesome , friendly and helpful. Not sure what the deal is with "Brandon B". I got fantastic service from the guys over there at iFixNC. Brought them our broken iPhone that was accidentily washed in the washing machine. Couple days later we got the phone back.... good as new! These guys are your "go to" experts for fixing this kind of stuff. I called this business looking for a power cord for a HP laptop. I did not need the adaptor section of this two part cord. I checked at the big box electronics and department stores in town and they each had the two part replacement cords for $60, which was too much for me. When I called iFixNC in New Bern and described what I needed they said they had "a bucket full of them" and that they'd give me one. When I arrived five minutes later the cord I needed was on the counter wrapped in a rubber band. The guys were very friendly and glad to help me out. On January 1st my wife's iPhone proximity sensor stopped working making it very difficult for her to make calls. She found ifixnc on Google and called. They were actually closed but the proprietor was luckily in the shop and offered to take a look at it for us. He took it apart and identified the problem in less than a minute. Best customer I've had in four years of selling parts. a) Cares about employee happiness AND development. Beau invests in people as people, not in people as employees who do work for him... people leave this place better off for having been here. b) None of that pass the buck nonsense... even when we really mucked up, he never yelled over it just because it may have inconvenienced him; even when he had the right to. Beau believes in what Truman said about passing the buck. It doesn't work. c) Values quality. I wish EVERY repair shop I sold parts to were like iFixNC.. These guys sold me a machine that worked for an hour. When I brought it back they invoked their all sales are final picy, but they offered to fix it. They could not fix it and tried to get me to take a machine with a different operating system. I bought the used machine (for more than a new machine) because it ran windows 7. Finally, they said they would credit my credit card, but refused to send me a credit confirmation. I guess they can get some things fixed, but I will not go into this place again. read more

This place used to be great but the last time I went here the customer service was horrible. I was quoted $200 to fix my laptop without even having someone look at it. I was being pushed to buy a refurbished laptop when I said multiple times I didn't want one. I left because I was just so surprised. I recently got my Macbook Pro laptop screen fixed at this repair shop and was called multiple times about some other issue being wrong with my computer. I told them to fix the motherboard that they said was ruined and the computer wouldn't turn on. I went to get my laptop after all the repairs were complete and to my dismay the trackpad was not correctly in my laptop. They fixed it for me however, the technician didn't even have the decency to show me the computer worked when i went to pick it up. I received my laptop with a dead battery which makes me wonder if the motherboard was even broken in the first place. I will definitely not go back to this repair as they were very impersonal and unprofessional. I spent $480 on repairs and didn't even get as much as a thank you for your business. Also, my laptop was returned missing 4 screws. Poor Customer service. read more

This place was great! Took my white iPhone 4 in with a completely destroyed screen and they told me to come back in an hour and a half. Came back a little early and they had already finished. Looked brand new! They even put in new hardware that was missing from when i had a friend try to fix it with a new screen that we'd ordered through EBay. It's four months later now and still going. This place is horrible. I walked in there about 3 weeks ago with a cracked screen on my iphone. I left and they told me to come back in an hour and a half. Three hours later I came back in and they had not even started. When I finally got my phone, 4 hours after when they said they would be done. I got it home and it crashed on me. White apple of death. Took it back and they said they had no idea what was going on but could send it to apple. Of course they can, right after I paid $130 for a new screen, convenient right? So I let them send my phone off, like a dumbass, after saying it would be about 2-3 business to receive my new one. I'm on here, two weeks later, still waiting for my damn phone to come in while writing this review. This place sucks and they're slow! Every time I have been in there, there are customers complaining either on the phone or directly to their little secretary's face. If you got some time, a drive to wilmington, greenville, or even raleigh is worth more than trying to this dump. Youre gonna be waiting on them anyways so you might as well use that time to drive somewhere professional and get it done right the first time. Dont waste your money here!!!! read more
