We had a 3pm reservation and I think by 4pm we were flying! Jeff was our instructor and he was great, he's jumped out of a plane 900 times! They do an amazing demo and prioritize safety. A lot of young kids and families as well. Staff was very attentive.

I fly was a pretty fun experience. The kids enjoyed themselves and I'd go back again.

For an extra $20, you can go higher!

What a great experience! Came here for hubby's birthday on a weekend morning, and reserved the first available appointment at 10:00 a.m.. Jose was our instructor, Drew was in the control booth, Bijan was the additional instructor that took us higher. Hubby has always wanted to do skydiving, but I refuse to jump out of a plane, so this was a nice compromise, and a fun experience. For this visit, we did a 10 flight package, that you can usually split up to five people, but the time was equally divided in our party of four. During our flight journey, all three instructors made sure we were safe, and gave us signals as needed while we were in the Wind Tunnel. I can't wait to do this again!

Brought our kids here Friday for our daughter's 10th birthday and it was SICK! Easy to check-in, get ready, view the demos. Everything was super clean (except for the downstairs bathrooms but they just had a party of savage kids leave so you can't blame them). Jose was AWESOME!! Super nice, fun & knowledgeable! His coworker who controlled the air (we forgot his name ((sorry)) but his mom lives in Suffolk county as well as us) was super sweet, very observant of the kids and how they feeling during and after their flights! You guys were awesome! We're coming back! I'm brining my dad bc he thinks he's too old to skydive now! lol thanks guys! You really helped make our daughter's 10th super memorable!

    Flight Voucher (Gift Certificate)

3.5 My daughter and I were gifted four flight vouchers each at iFLY two years ago. I've tried to make a reservation twice, at their other locations, but they never had availability, on the dates, and times, that I was able to go. Last week, i saw they opened at a brand new Queens location, in Long Island City. I just at this opportunity because there was a school holiday, this Monday. Once I called them, the process was rather simple--they took the voucher numbers and I made my appointment. They gave me the run down, they sent me a training video, to watch, in preparation of your flight. Upon arrival, we waited about ten minutes or so because the check in process seemingly takes quite awhile, While the flights were paid for because I had gift certificates, I opted to pay $20 extra dollars, for the high flight, which instead of just going 4-5 ft off the crowd, you will go about 10 feet off the ground. When you opt to pay the extra fees, it includes media, which allows you to get some photos and videos, for free. Otherwise, you have to pay $3.95 per photo or $7.95 for a video of your flight. If you opt for the high flight, you will also have to be weighed, prior to going upstairs. Once you're upstairs, you have to sit around and wait for your flight time. For instance, I had an 11:30AM flight time, but probably had to wait over an hour before actually being able to fly. You can put your items into a locker, which is provided, for free. Once the time got closer, we were provided the suit and helmet for the flight. The instructor went over the process, what to expect, and what to do. Once you enter the flight area, you cannot have your phone, leave the area, or stand up. My instructor was great, he explained everything many times over and was helpful while in flight mode. I struggled with it, but I had several friends do it, and they too struggled. It doesn't help that I'm 6'3, which also added to my struggles. My daughter got the hang of it and she had a ball. The downside for me is the costs. $160 dollars for four one minute flights is very high. you cannot share the packages unless you opt for the most expensive package. The best deal you'll get is, after you fly, you can purchase another flight package, that never expires for $80 instead of the $105 or $160 (two or four flights) As I mentioned earlier, this location is brand new, and is not fully opened yet. They will be fully opened in March, but I would say it's best to go now because their other locations never have much availability, especially on school holidays or weekends. Lastly, I would say do not bother driving because there's a lack of parking, but the 7 train is just two blocks away.

I had my son's 6th birthday party here and it was so fun! Andy was our instructor and he was the best! He added a Happy Birthday message on the screen for my son which I thought was so cute! Everything from start to finish was very smooth. They provide pizza and non alcoholic drinks and decorated the room which was awesome! I only had to bring our cupcake cake. It was a very stress free experience.

Great experience! Place was packed so our scheduled time was running an hour behind. With 7 high energy boys, it was insane how well behaved and patient they were, waiting for their turn. Our instructor Andy was pretty awesome, keeping boys engaged and timed the prep work well. Kids flew with the biggest smiles I've seen on their faces. The parents all had a great time swing the fun and joy! Cannot wait to go back a few more times!

OMG!!!! This was an amazing experience!!! On the day of the flight i received a confirmation call what included tips how to get there, where to look for parking since i'm driving, arrive earlier to check in (yes it will take a couple of minutes!) ... but it is compensated by a super friendly staff, everyone is super helpful and communicative. And Adam - the instructor... he is a flying superstar we had a 4 flight/person session( book this one, it's worth it - and get the high fly option as well - listen to the girl at check in - you will need what she says!! When we git our brief training, Adam gave us the option to have 2 double-time flights or four 1 minute ones - we opted for the two minutes flight and that was definitely a good choice. One minute is not enough!! As far as instructions and safety - both the instructor with you and the one who is controlling the wind will help you by showing the signals, what to do, when to do it. They are very coordinated, they keep their eyes on you during the whole time - makes you feel safe. Also the show at the end by Adam was phenomenal! He makes flying and the tricks looks sooooooo easy Thank you for every of You that made this experience so great for us!

I brought 25 students there for a school STEM trip. Everything from help with booking, online waivers, adding students, check in, instruction and flying went exceptionally well.

We had my son's 12th birthday party at iFly last night and the staff was amazing (dealing with a group of boys is never easy and they rolled with everything the boys threw at them!). They were great at explaining everything and made sure the boys all had great flights. Would definitely recommend iFly to anyone for a birthday party or just for a fun night out.

I need to say experience is 10/10 ,stuff super friendly,Instructors entertain little ones just a reason to go back for sure. However comparing two locations we had been in there is something what Queens is locking and should at least consider correcting/improving. What is difference btw Weschester and Queens location? It is communication! As a parent I was taken by surprise when I made a purchase I got 4 flights. On a day of a flight I purchased additional 1 high flight before the event. Next thing I knew my son had 2 flights and thats it. A guy walked up to us to inform "Your son had 2 flight for 2 mins each which is equvalent to 4 flights of 1 minute each therefore he is done".Totally not aware of that I would of like to know before flight started definately will do with 4 flight for a minute each if I was only asked for.You can not make a decision on your own.. Anyway after a short converstation we had been asked:" You can get another flight for $30$ Including high flight(2mins),no pressure though..."we agreed cause it was for a child to have the best experience oncve again which he did .Situation overall was just not cool,so I would just reconsider which is best location for IFLY.

Have your part(ies) here!…read more We used EDBM to throw a party at The East Wing (Upper East Side) for my daughter's 1st birthday celebration. My wife and I were beyond pleased! They guided us along from the beginning exploratory conversations, through the booking, the food and room setup, to the execution of the event. Wow...they are awesome and they know their stuff! Everything was a smashing success. Special kudos to how they knew all of what to expect too...ie. they were spot on right down to knowing certain foods wouldn't really be eaten as much as others (yes, we went against their advice and yes, we were wrong...lol...but good news is I have tons of leftovers for lunch this week!) Other notes: East Wing is perfect for about 50 people, especially if you need tables and other things laid out in the space. Its well lit but private, their is a bathroom in the room, there are great nooks and crannies to store things (strollers, presents, etc) and the food is both delicious and portioned correctly. We did a lot of research and the way EDBM prices its party packages is by far the best, especially for the nicer ambiance and food quality. They are upfront with all their charges, and at the end of the day, you definitely get more for your money than you would at other places around town of similar size and service. Also, a special kudos to their onsite party host, Lindsay. She is a master party manager, bartender, hostess, problem solver, and generally kind-spirited person. She answered questions, made us comfortable and assisted us in every possible way. Amazing at her job! They all are - Christine, Niki and Brittany. Bravo! We would 100% recommend EDBM to any and all who seek a suggestion for where to have a party.

Okay, so I booked my brother's bachelor party with the girls of Eat Drink and be Merry and let me…read moretell you how wonderful and accommodating they were and the services they provide. I can't remember all of the names but I believe there was a Brittany, Christine and I want to say Kate. Our first part of the night we started off at the Gin Mill for dinner. I got to be honest the food was a lot better than what I thought it was going to be. Pasta, Chicken, Steak, potatoes, tator tots, all delicious. Maggie, who was I guess the host of the party was excellent along with our bartender. I cannot remember her name but she was blonde (sorry) and very on top of whatever drinks we needed. I rate everything at this place a 10 Our limo driver Steve who was flat out the man...enough said!!!!! He catered to us as best as he could and went above and beyond. I would definitely have him as a limo driver again. As Steve took us to Down the hatch, the bartenders were there ready to wait on us, and they didn't disappoint. (Maggie called ahead for us!) The one down point of the night was when we ordered wings the staff brought the wings and set them up over on a shelf by the main door. The bouncer came over and asked us to clear the doorway. I understand 100% he was doing his job, but this is where the staff put the wings. I explained to him that we will move out of the way the best we could to not block the doorway, but asked him where were we going to go to eat? I said if you can find us a table I will gladly move. This bouncer had a Dallas Cowboys hat on and, said " you want me to find you a table, not my problem. Okay guy! We left immediately! Guy was just a rude................well you get the point. I called Maggie to explain to her the situation immediately and made sure she knew that we were not out of control, not causing any problems etc.... Next up, 3 sheets saloon. Everything about this place was outstanding. We had a waitress and I can't remember her name, but she was from Australia and she just kept bringing round after round until the open bar time was up! The bouncer Ivan was pretty awesome too. He kept us entertained throughout the night. All in all, the night turned out to be a good time..and I would recommend booking as everything went smoothly with the exception of the bouncer issue, but one guy with an ego, wasn't going to ruin our night.

My best friend and I hired Pop Up Picnic NYC for our birthday celebration…read more I loved that a location was chosen for us, given my little knowledge of the park. We were situated in a spot with a great view of Belvedere Castle and close to restroom access. This was such a sweet way for our friends and us to celebrate each other during the day. All setup was included and the aesthetic and atmosphere was the perfect combination of casual, cozy, and fancy that we were looking to achieve. Setup includes lots of blankets, pillows, 2 outdoor games, and a board of snacks. This is a wife and husband duo and their local, small business - was wonderful to be able to support them and the creative business model they've established. Once we arrived, they made sure to spend time to ensure we were comfortable and to get to know us before they left us to celebrate. It was apparent they put lots of time and love into their efforts and the setup! There was a last minute 45 minute pushback in our reservation time. As I understand, this was driven by catering and I felt like the company handled it professionally and they were sure to extend our time on the back end. Luckily we were able to do so as we did not have other plans that this impeded. The pricing is a bit on the steep end; however, more manageable if splitting with other members of your party. It also is rather comparable to other companies I inquired with. A few recommendations and suggestions I have for Pop Up Picnic NYC include: - Providing more water, even a cooler with water bottles would've been great as those were heavy to lug around - Shade. It ended up being a rather hot day and we were not near any shade, perhaps moving the space a bit to find some shade or including decor options that provide shade (umbrella, etc) - Access to the owners and info on the company is all through Instagram. It was great having access to images and videos from their previous picnics; however, there was limited access to what exactly the company offers. Even a one-pager that could be shared via email to explain the various options (including pricing & logistics) would've been great in speeding up the booking process - If able (I'm not at all familiar with park rules here), offering alcoholic beverage options/packages would certainly be worth considering. I would have absolutely given that option a look through All being said, I would absolutely recommend booking with Pop Up Picnic NYC for an event you're looking to plan. I will also have them top of list myself going forward when looking to book a similar event - I can only imagine how cozy one of their picnics would be in the fall. Thanks to Stephanie and team for making our birthdays memorable!!
