What is great about IGA is that probably has the most varied selection one can hope for when shopping for their groceries. The produce is very fresh, the meat/cheese variety is aplenty and whatever you want is available. The food kitchen is solid and I enjoy their pepperoni pizzas and onions rings (no surprise there).
The biggest issue with IGA is that it's so damned expensive it doesn't compete with other places if you only want to shop here for groceries. This is why I use it mostly as a "get that thing your missed", "get that special things not at Maxi/Provigo". It's a shame, I'd love to shop here for everything but the bottom line is every grocery bill being easily $50 more expensive it can add up over time. read more
