Then he made me walk all the way to the front of the store to pay for it when I still had other things to get so when he left, I told the other lady I would like to make a complaint about him and she just says oh he doesn't work in that department. You'll find a number of items, food and other items that are very Canada specific, such as Maple syrup, Maple tea, and other maple-related snacks. We also found it hard to find a shop where you can find clothing that lasts and is very comfortable. We picked up a couple fleece and shirts here and they survived the wash and are still comfortable weeks later, and they were such a good price, nearly half of what you'd expect. The deals on standard keychains and magnets were also very good so we bought dozens.

I gave him my information for my order, they called for someone over the PA system then was doing something on their cellphone even though there was a line up of people behind me???????? After 5 minutes or so they finally got off their cellphone called the person on the PA again then helped another customer. I waited for over 15 mins for someone to come to the customer service desk to help them with my order. While I was waiting I noticed a more than four employees talking groups and being on their cellphones texting or doing something other than working or helping customers while people where self checking themselves out. I thought WOW is this what it has come too!!!!!! Walmart making more money off their customers for not having to pay for cashiers for check out and have their customers check themselves out while their employees are being paid to play or text on their cellphones, ignoring customers. I finally got my order after 20 mins in the store. They told me the link in the email only works if you are close to the store and you can only use it in the app not in emails on your computer. When I got home I noticed I got charged for the first order that didn't come and the second order. I am working with my credit card company to sort that out. Why did I get charged twice???? I still don't know and the people at the store didn't know either. I hate Amazon and I don't order from them but after this experience I might have to go back. At least they deliver your order or give you a full refund when you don't get your order.

It appears this is the main marketplace in Whistler, because it's like a small town, but it does sure feel like a tourist trap. After eating at Peaked Pie, we walked around this marketplace and visited some stores and even the lodge to use their washroom. I feel all the ladies who work here are really nice and friendly. The men aren't friendly at all. No greeting, no offer of assistance, no nothing. Kinda weird, but okay. In addition to the stores and eateries, there's also several parks, police and fire station, theatre, clinics, library, and museum, and etc. This kinda marketplace feels like those city building games where you put all the main buildings in close proximity to each other, add in a lodge, and lines of stores here and there. There are many local and outdoor clothing and sports gear stores here, and they are very expensive. Overall, it was interesting walking around here because it does feel like you're in a small town where everyone knows each other, and when tourists come along, they try to sell you their goods at top dollar. I don't think I'll buy anything from here. Just here for the food and coffee.

Clothing brands range from little known to fairly upscale designers, like Michael Kors, and similarly for shoes and hosiery. While I've found plenty of brands I barely recognize, every now and then I luck out with a Tahari jacket or pants, BCBG dress (especially in juniors), or upscale pair of designer jeans. Don't come looking for True Religion, but you can luck out and net a few good deals. Winners is an anchor store in Woodgrove Centre, which makes an excellent stop when searching for a separate, jeans, or shirt. Note if you're on the ends of the size spectrum, you will have far fewer options, and this is especially true for bigger sizes rather than small. Small and medium (for ladies) and medium or large (for gentlemen) get the most representation. Petites for women have their own section without a corresponding tall area, though sometimes you luck out and find the rare pair of tall pants in the ladies careerwear area. Because many items are overstock, remainders from last season or the like, I buy on the "check it twice" and "get it now" principles. Check every seam, button, and the like for defects. Always try clothes on because sizes sometimes are irregular, even more than usual. Return policies with Winners are easy and generous, but it's buyer be wise in these types of places. Second, don't assume whatever you saw on the shelf will be there next time. Winners doesn't have a website where you can order the shirt or pants you saw last week, and you may not find them again. The store doesn't feel like a downscale department store, as so many Sears now do, thanks to wide aisles, bright overhead lighting, and a care about the merchandise. You won't see clothes strewn about like a teenager's bedroom thanks to associates who actually ensure things stay tidy. The clearance (red tag) areas, especially around cosmetics and hair care, does tend to be a jumble of products on the shelf, but these are limited. Downside: Children's section for 0 to 5 (toddlers) is woefully slim and entirely weighted towards girls. The boys racks have next to nothing, and no shoes or accessories. Protip:
