I smashed my iPhone 5 screen and needed to get it repaired immediately. I brought it in Monday morning, got a printed quote (and a 15% discount for checking in on yelp), and the guy told me an hour and a half. I think it would have been shorter except that I also asked him to look at my power button, which has been broken for months. A few hours later I picked it up and it looks like a brand new phone. The screen is perfect and the power button is finally working again. Also the service was friendly and straightforward. My biggest concern with going to a random electronic repair shop was getting ripped off, but I felt totally comfortable here. If you don't have enough money for a more we'll known cell phone repair shop and you want to take a chance. This is igadget. It's a little hard to find I had to do some driving around considering there is no signage from the street. Had two phones fixed here, a galaxy and an iPhone. Galaxy was fixed 100% no problems. I phone took about a day to start acting funny. I should have know it was a different screen because it was a different color than OEM iPhone screens. My screen would stick. Type anything it wanted to and shift between apps without me ever touching it. Would freeze multiple times a day, did soft and hard resets constantly. Texting was out of the question so was emailing, snapchating, basically anything but calling. I took it in the first place because my phone wasn't turning on and he said it was my digitizer but I'm starting to think he may have just taken my perfectly good digitizer and replaced it with a used/cheap one. I'm not sure, but bottom line is that I have had one excellent experience and one, not so excellent. I need a phone for communication through work consistently so I had to buy a new phone after already dropping eighty plus on my screen to be fixed. I bought a groupon for a screen repair on my iPad Air. When I called to set up an appointment, the representative sharply told me that the Groupon doesn't cover the iPad Air. When I told him that the fine print only excluded iPhone 5 and iPad mini, he tried to tell me it was an old Groupon. Nope, I bought it last week. I came to iGadget Repair when I broke my iPad mini screen. I went to them because they guaranteed 24 hour turn around for $125, and they were close to where I work. When I went back to pick up my device 24 hours later, it 'was not complete' because 'they had gotten really busy'. I told them I came to them specifically because of the 24 hour guarantee, and that they would be reducing how much I paid for my service since it was not done! They offered to drop it off to my house later that night (nice, but still not within 24 hours), but said that it would be ready within an hour if I wanted to come back. (I was headed to the gym). It was completed by the time I came back, but I'm not overly impressed by their workmanship (likely because they rushed in the last hour!). Glue or residue is visible under the edge of the screen, and they clearly tried to fit the new glass into the broken iPad corner (it's a little scrunched from the fall) which cracked again within 2 weeks. Since it's broken again, it's time to repair. and I'm not going back to them. read more

My iPhone 6 was accidentally broken yesterday. It seems like only glass part was damaged. I remembered my friend said this shop was good while I tried to look for repairs shop. Then I could find the shop. The repair was so fast. Just one hour. But the quality is very good. And the repair fee was only $99. (In addition, actually I could use Yelp redeem 15% off) I think it was reasonable price compared to any official shop or AT&T shops. I was afraid of expensive repair fee (over $200). We had an iPod repaired (cracked screen) and 3 weeks later, the screen was pulling away from the iPod. I called iGadget, only to find they have a 15 day warranty, and they were not even going to give me a break on the second visit. Seriously... 15 days. About a month later, the digitizer stopped working. The place I took it to this time said that is typically because of a bad repair.... did you have it repaired somewhere before? Unethical and unreasonable! 1 hour after the repair I was putting a new phone case on the phone, pressed on the corner of the phone to secure the case and the screen cracked, just under the pressure of my thumb!!!! Pieces of plastic was fallen off, anyone who has ever cracked an iPhone screen knows that they usually stay in one piece just shatters. Obviously buys the lowest quality replacement parts. I took my phone in for a screen repair and they ended up cutting the speaker phone wire and the touch pad wires. Four visits, 8 hours of my time, and 1.5 weeks later they finally "repaired" my phone. They said they gave me a discount but my billing didn't change either. Additionally they use aftermarket parts. The new screen dulls the LCD screen and muffles the colors and also scratches much easier (the screen scratches with keys in the same pocket, something that never happened with the original screen). The part they use can be found online for $5 bucks on eBay for the iPhone 6 series. That is why a lot of negative reviews on Yelp say people break the same screen multiple times soon after the fix; it's because they use generic Chinese replacements that break easily so you can come back and give them more money to repair it. Just spend the extra $20 bucks and get it done at the apple store. It won't void your warranty and your getting the exact replacement. read more

They have replaced cracked screens on both an iPhone5 and an iPad2 for me. Both times they were quick and the service was great. The iPad had some problems with the touch sensitivity after the screen replacement, but they took it back and fixed it quickly for no charge. You can often get a good deal from them with a Groupon. Their prices with the Groupons are better than their competitors that I've checked. I will always go back here when I have any repair needs on my phones and tablets. read more

I've gone there several times, repairs are expensive and they have messed up my devices three times. iPad screen came detached from frame following a repair and the completely messed up my home button on an iPhone repair which made phone unusable without additional repair. If you like your electronics, don't take them here. First, let me say I work in digital marketing, so I know how detrimental a poor review can be for any company which is why I rarely do this, and usually give the organization the benefit of the doubt. However, that is impossible to do in this case. At the end of August, I took my MacBook Pro to iGadget to have the screen repaired. They took a look at it and said they could do it. I knew it would be expensive, but the screen was unreadable, and it was better to fix the screen than buy a new Mac. My husband had also been dealing with a cracked screen on his iPhone for a while (you know how it's not horrible and you deal with it until you can't stand it anymore?) and decided to go ahead and finally get that repaired as well. I've had this computer for over 2 years, and this was the first time anything on it broke. My husband and I were glad to get our screens fixed, and when we picked up the items they looked good as new. But the joke was on us. Only 3 weeks later, the MacBook screen broke AGAIN. There was no impact, no abuse... and the side of the screen shattered. I was shocked. I've owned many computers and have never seen anything like it. It's also worth mentioning around this time my husband's iPhone screen had started to break away from his phone. So TWO items that were fixed around that same time at this place we trusted, were broken again. So what did we do? My husband and I went back to the shop and showed them what was going on. And what did he do? He fought repairing both of them!!! Saying it HAD to be our fault. Then finally he said he would repair my husband's phone (again- the glue on the screen had peeled away and the screen was coming off. How is this my husband's fault?), but he wouldn't fix my computer or reimburse my money. He accused me of breaking it again. I told them one of three things happened: either they used crappy factory outlet material and that's why it broke, they used good product and it wasn't installed correctly, or both. He refused to listen. Not a penny back for a screen that broke in less than a month after having it fixed, and no offer to fix it again. It cost me over $400. I just got off the phone with my credit card company to dispute the charges. This is something I've NEVER done in my life. And now I'm leaving a negative review, something I've RARELY done. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. My advice to anyone reading this? ONLY take a phone to be repaired, and make sure it's not a phone you really care about. My husband's screen STILL isn't functioning properly. When he taps the glass to open an app or hang up a call, he usually has to tap a few times to get it to work. And the screen heats up quite a bit. (Which is why we think it's a cheap product.) He's dealing with it though because he qualifies for a new phone in January. So only three more months to go dealing with a crappy screen. We will never be back, and we will definitely let our friends know to steer clear. Hopefully, this story will save anyone else from going through this crap. read more

Okay service. I went later in the day so they said it would take about an hour. The phone looked as new as it could considering the beatings I've put it through. My only issue is that they went through my pictures, and possibly my emails which is a HUGE and complete invasion of my privacy. (I had closed all of my running apps because my battery was dying, those apps where open when I got the phone back). The digitizer went all wonky on my phone and I was able to work around it for several months before getting fed up with it. I didn't want to spend an arm an a leg on a repair, especially since the part I needed was only $20 online. I called around to different repair stores in cbus and was quoted everything up to $175! I called igadget on a whim one day and they quoted me a MUCH more reasonable average price. They also let me pay part of the bill as a down payment instead of leaving my phone with them over the weekend while the part came in. The repair only took a day and my phone is flawless. I wish I hadn't taken so long to get my phone fixed, it was cheap and easy. The owners/workers are professional and friendly and the location is great; it's right across from mongolian bbq and next to davids bridal off sawmill, across from the meijer & trader joe's. They also had a lot of cute cell phone cases, mainly for iphones but some s3/4 too. I recommend igadget! read more

Do not take your iPad there. I had a groupon to fix the glass on my iPad. When they returned it to me with the glass replaced, half the screen was not lit. After one week i got it back again and within 2 hours the glass was pulling away from the metal frame. Back it went again. I now have it back and am hoping for the best. No one ever called me during this process. I had to call them to find out what was going on. There was no attempt at customer service at all. I took my iPad here for a repair. They told us over the phone that it would be "like new" after the repair was done. Upon picking it up we noticed gouges out of all sides of the device as well as glue stuck on the back. When we addressed it with the worker he said "that's what we do with all the iPads to remove the broken glass" and indicated that all of them leave their store broken. When we addressed our dismay with the quality of work noting they has damaged the device, he said rudely "what do you want me to do" without offering solutions." So unprofessional!! When I dropped of my iPad, I explained exactly what was wrong. (not just simple screen replacement, but also some damage pins on the mother board.) A person I initially talked to, explained to me that they work with items like that all the time and it won't be a problem at all. After a few days and no phone call, I called them back asking what was the status. Then I was told that a tech person haven't even got to it yet. I thought maybe they were pretty busy, so I decided to wait a bit longer. After 1 week, still no call from then, so I called IGadget, then a different person explained me that they could not do anything due to the damage to the mother board. I explaned again that I explained the condition up front and I was told they could fix it, but his explanation was that a person I initially talked was NOT a "tech" person and probably he had no idea what he was talking about.
