    Chicken Changitos to-go

I ordered some T-Dawg bowls to go for me and my boss. I got the Steak with Corn tortillas. It was all still warm when I got back to work. The filling was delicious with the queso in it. The corn tortillas were also delicious, but much smaller than his flour tortillas. I did run out of tortillas before I ran out of filling, and the chips, while tasty, were too weak to scoop the filling up without breaking. It was extra good to drizzle some of the avocado sauce over the filling before closing up the tortillas. I would order it again, but try the flour tortillas next time.

Came here a few weekends ago for a friends birthday. They were absolutely packed which was a super good sign. It was difficult to park, but we eventually found a spot. We started with their queso which was super good, and of course we had to have margaritas. We also split a sampler and their cheese enchiladas. The sampler was awesome, and super filling. The cheese enchiladas were good too, and I think we actually ordered too much food lol. Overall, we we really enjoyed everything here and would eat here again.

Ibe been here many times, but this may be my first review. Parking: Large lot. But always crowded Service Excellent. Very attentive, accommodating and funny. Price: A bit high. In my opinion. Drinks are $15 , why? Other places may be similar. Dining: Always very cold. Bring a jacket if you tend to be cold. Nice family atmosphere. . . INCLUDED: Icecream. Cones were very fresh. They opened a new box for us.

We had a multi Birthday celebration! 18 people, the managers were very accommodating and the waiter and staff were excellent !!!!! Food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their evening. The drinks from the bar were great also.

I've been here a few times and the food is great! Great customer service too. Food: the taco plate I got was top notch. Man the mini tacos had so much flavor! The green sauce to go with it was great too. The queso and chips were real good too. I have been here a few times but I can't remember what I got in the past but the pics are from my most recent visit. The service is always really good too. This will always be one of my go to spots.

We arrived at 6:30pm on a Saturday. The wait time was 30 min. First and foremost and waitresses was a champ. We had a large group and loud kids. All of our orders where correct. Although she disappeared for quit some time, she did a great job The wait time for the food was average....20 min or so. Green sauce 10/10 Salsa 10/10 Chips 10/10 Pollo Marisco was server cold. I requested the poblano sauce instead of the sauce it came with. The portion size was huge. The flavors where lack a bit. 7/10 Borracho Beans where good, needed a little spice though. 8/10

This was our first stop of our Baytown, Texas trip and it was a great experience. We came in on a Wednesday (Thankfully) and it was not busy at all. Service, food and drinks were really fast and great. Our Waitress took care of us and made sure the food was delivered the "Joe's Way" and it did not disappoint! Definitely recommend this TexMex Restaurant.

Great location for an amazing meal when in the Baytown/ Mont Belvieu area. Located just off of 1-10. Highly recommend the Soup/ Salad Combo of Tortilla Soup and Pompeii Salad. The visit didn't disappoint as far as the food, however, the service was very short and hurried. Being that it was a Sunday and a rush, this can be quite understandable and the serving staff did the best they could.

This restaurant is a DISASTER!!! We came on a Friday night and the service was HORRIBLE! The waitress brought my margarita (pictured) and it was the wateriest frozen drink ever. I returned it and they brought another that was even more watered down. Not to mention our waitress spilled it in our queso and never even acknowledged it. She sat it on the table and acted as though nothing happened. ‍ Our food took forever! Once it finally came, one of the entrees was missing because our waitress forgot to put it in. Management did come to our table and offer apologies, which we appreciate.

They do have live bands so it may get loud, if that's not your thing. Now for the food... there was so much we wanted to try like the fried trio (zucchini, mushrooms, and pickles), but we chose the bacon deviled eggs and they did not disappoint! The bacon was candied and oh so good. They have a really good salad bar, and the waitress charged us for the kids portion since we were all getting meals that didn't come with a trip. Lots of good toppings to choose from. They have yummy rolls with honey cinnamon butter. My only complaint was the ranch and blue cheese was a bit too runny, and the blue cheese lacked flavor. My bonus daughter and I split the wings and the seafood platter. The wings are really good, we got hot and cherry jalapeño barbecue. The seafood platter was very good, huge portion, 6 shrimp and 2 large pieces of catfish, and the french fries were awesome. I just wish the tartar sauce tasted a little bit better. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it wasn't my favorite. My husband had the signature sirloin topped with a seafood sauce. It was really good and cooked perfectly. He got the loaded mashed potatoes, but they were very dry, they needed some cream or some butter or both. I also got a side of fried okra, I didn't care for it, not very flavorful and not crispy. My daughter got the kids cheese enchilada dinner, she didn't care for it, she said it was mostly cheese and no tortilla. The dessert menu is extensive, and it was hard to make a choice. I wanted to try the brownie bottom cheesecake, the Keylime pie cheesecake, the bourbon, pecan cheesecake, and the Texas velvet chocolate cake. My daughter and I both went for the Texas velvet chocolate cake. The waitress failed to tell me that the portion size is HUGE. Wish I'd have taken a pic! It's two huge slices of chocolate cake on top of each other. Let me tell you, though, this is one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. The cake part was moist, I hate that word, but I can't think of another word that describes it. Very flavorful and chocolatey. The icing was one of the best I've ever had, it's a chocolate buttercream and so good. We've eaten on this cake for a few days and it is not going to waste, that's for sure. I think the cake was the best part of the meal. Soooo good. My husband got the salted caramel pecan pie, it was very good. He's not a crust person, but he actually ate all the crust, it was so good. Overall, I really like cactus jacks and I would come back. The waitress was mediocre, for example, she told me they didn't have blue cheese, but they obviously did. She wasn't very attentive at the table, took awhile to get refills and we weren't able to get her to get us some butter for the mashed potatoes because she was rarely there, just a bunch of little things... She was very sweet though . The only reason why they got five stars was the chocolate cake, I think they really deserve four stars because their sides and condiments need some work. But, we will give it another try for sure.

The margarita was strong. The bartender was nice. Yesterday I stopped by for lunch. Service was good. However, I was disappointed in the food. I had the lunch fajitas, I'm not a fan of Spanish rice or refried beans. The rice was plain not seasoned. I had the cookie skillet for dessert. Ice Cream was salad as a rock. It even took forever for to melt from the heat of the cookie. Two gentlemen were sitting next to me at the bar. We was noticing how they had a few birthday celebrations that were taking place. Come to find out we both are Aries. Our birthdays are April. So one was nice of enough to pick up my tab.

tried this place out this morning for breakfast…read more this place is suppose to be authentic. very very slow service, compared to other authentic mexican restaurants. other places are so fast, soon as you order, within minutes the food comes out hot, hot, hot. this place, after ordering, took nearly 15-20mins for the chili-con-queso to come out, and once it was served, it was basically hot water with barely any cheese in it (photo). the chips were a bit hard, not like the thin authentic chips i get at other places. i ordered the barbacoa plate (photo). and when that was finally served over 30 mins later, the rice was cold, and the barbacoa wasnt as tender as i get at other places, a bit bland too, so i tried to add flavor to it, by adding salt and pepper, and salsa hot sauce. the only thing great was the company i was with, and the jamaca drink i ordered and the flour tortillas. my friend as them to bring more chips, and some better queso. by they time they finally got that out we were ready to go, and the food had upset my stomach, so i REALLY had to go if you know what i mean. so we asked if they could pack the queso and chips to go, and that took another 15 minutes or so, then we finally got out check. note that we dined in, and as we sat we noticed all the people walking in and making orders to go, got their food quicker than we got ours, within minutes to go customers, made their order, paid and were out. i dont know how this place survives as bad as their dine in service is.
