the team does not stand by you. owners are fleecing customers throughout Oregon, an already financially troubled state and the people that live in it. If you are needing a service to help you move, need a truck and trailer, they'll first ask you to put their whole service charge down. No problem though because it is a same day service, right? Well, then they will give you a 3 hour window thats close to the end of business day, and then they'll simply say, "oh I know it seems kinda sketchy but they are just running late". Well no problem, everyone runs late. Not just late, only 25 minutes before the property transfers Ownership. Well, they said they didn't know, so surely? WRONG! You told them it was 5 twice, the second time being when you said "ARE YOU SURE I SHOULDNT GET ANOTHER SERVICE?, I ONLY HAVE UNTIL 5". They got it covered, it shouldn't take much time, WRONG again, you had to order another moving service because you could hear the delusion in her voice. Criminals need to be rehabilitated before working public facing jobs, and especially before getting search-optimized-listings. A man baby. exploded on me after I told him that the 30 inch stove should fit through a 32 inch door opening . Called me crazy lier and left the job. FRAUDULENT BUSINESS: DO NOT HIRE I contacted iHall over a month before my moving date to shop around quotes for my cross country move. They offered best case scenario would be about $4200 and worst case maybe about $5200 which seemed reasonable. Turns out they partner with U-Haul and originally had my order available at those rates, but someone in their office accidentally deleted the request which they admitted to. So they scheduled my move day of for a total of $9000. They were not forthcoming with this information and I only found out they decided to change the price when I asked them to confirm it that morning. I told them I couldn't pay that and they told me they would resolve it with U-Haul and did the move anyway without ever following up with me on the price. Long story short, guess who got stuck with a $9000 bill? Not only that, they charged my credit card and gave away my credit card information without permission and without ever confirming the charges with me. They knew if they didn't tell me the estimated change until the day we were flying out we couldn't hire anyone else. We were even told we had MUCH LESS than expected because we downsized. Hire someone else friend, don't be their next victim. Edit: So they actually called me just to curse me out and hang up. Very classy. Also turns out they failed to pack all of our stuff and chose to leave some of our items behind AND we received a call from U-Haul who told us they failed to lock up our stuff so they did it for us. We were referred to Ihall through word of mouth. We were graced with the Dynamic Duo of Brothers, Wyatt and Chase. These two young men are Power Houses!! So strong, So aware of your Belongings, Such great Men with Manners. They used these awesome forearm straps to craddle super heavy things, maneuvering strategically. I got scammed out of $300 dollars. Sasha from their office will not return my calls. Do not use!!!

Very friendly and responsive, seemed experienced and knowledgeable about moving but when our moving day arrived I quickly lost confidence in their ability to handle our long distance move. I was given an estimated price for the move which seemed reasonable. After picking up the first truck at 9am, the crew showed up about 11am. Seems odd to me that they were so late since we had only two days to load the trucks and drive to our destination. But the crew worked very hard all day and into the early evening. Day two was not so good. Only two people showed up and didn't seem to have a basic understanding of how to load the trucks. The owners took off and went three hours away to handle another move and as a result everything wasn't loaded until 6pm. We still had a minimum of 8-10 hour drive to our destination. The owners told us they would be right behind us with our second vehicle. We drove all night to arrive at our destination about 9:30 the next morning. The owners and their crew did show up until 4pm! Their crew of five consisted of two adults and three teenagers who were clueless as to how to handle furniture and bulky items. They were unable to finish that day and were to return at 9am the next day. They showed up at 11am. Which caused me to pay an extra days rent for one of the trucks. At the rate of $75 per hour per person including travel time at the same rate for five people, my final bill was more than $4000 above the original bid. Of course they had lots of reasons for the increase in price but I feel that if there had been adequate supervision for a crew of teenagers that the job would have been completed much quicker and thus less man hours required. The constant worry about when they would be back to finish loading and unloading and lack of good communication about their itinerary made this an extremely stressful experience. Plus the extra labor costs for inexperienced teenagers and the damage to our belongings makes it difficult for me to give them three stars. But they are hard workers when they finally show up to work. Sadly, it would have been better and about the same price if I had used a professional moving company. read more

We used ihall movers in Roseburg, Oregon and it was a nightmare! They were young and the only thing they cared about was how fast they could load the storage containers. They scratched the wood floors of the house we rented and it cost us $900 to repair. They would not and have not reimbursed us even though we made a demand for the money and sent a receipt for the work! They said they would reverse the charges to our credit card, but the only way we got our money back was to have the bank reverse the charges. ! Would not recommend using them EVER! read more

We moved from Roseburg, OR to South Dakota. We rented a 26 foot truck and had everything packed and ready to go. The two men packing the UHaul were efficient and courteous. They worked continuously for over 3 hours. We had items at our home and a storage unit. I spoke with Sasha who offered up tips about wrapping the furniture, blankets, and ratchets. It was good advice. You will be billed for a full hour even if the team works for less than an hour. For us, it was worth it as we had a lot of items. read more

Scheduled movers for an AM move, everything in the apartment is already done, they're just here to move the heavy entertainment center and couches. So scheduling they pushed us into an earlier time slot, 7AM to be exact, even though we wanted 8 or 9 but they had other moves to get to. So we said okay. We're here finished up the small things at 6 am so they have an easy time lined up, 7 am rolls around no one shows. Called the store only to find out that something on their end "happened" and that they would get someone out to us by 8:30. Moments later we get a message saying they will be here sometime between 9 and 10. Infuriating. We only have this truck rental until 1pm before we are charged for a second day of use. Now they don't think they will be able to help us unload it, which means we will not make our truck rental return time. No such thing as customer service the entire time throughout. Absolutely disappointing for such a highly rated company. Do not recommend. read more

I used this company twice. The first time went without a hitch. Was very impressed that they were willing to come out just about any time we thought we would get into Winston for our move, even though it was in the evening. They were professional and quick. The second time we had a bit of a glitch, but I am happy to say they eventually dealt with the problem in a completely fair manner. (If it'd happened a little faster, would've given them the fifth star.) In any case, I would recommend them. read more

Prompt, friendly, very efficient... Where to start ? I would recommend I Hall to anyone, they were easily the best packing/moving company I have ever used. Sasha texted us back right after we made the reservation and set up a time to talk through the details. Justin and the rest of his crew did a great job helping pack the furniture and loading everything. When we unloaded there were no damages whatsoever. I can't even express how thankful I am for Justin and iHall! My in-laws were in a 26' uhaul, moving from Portland, OR to Southern California, when it broke down just outside Roseburg. After a terribly long day trying to figure out what they were going to do (since uhaul was absolutely no help), they decided it was probably best to try to unload the truck and load it onto another. I gave iHall a call to see if there was any way that they could help us. Justin was amazing. He told me that he could have a crew out there right away to unload the truck and reload it into a different one. He also gave me step by step instructions on who to contact at uhaul and how to get them to pay for the cost of the move. My in-laws were so pleased with how quickly and efficiently they worked. The four man crew had the new truck completely loaded up and ready to go in three hours. Thanks so much to Justin and his crew! We made an appointment at least a week early and on the time of the move, they didn't show up. When we called, Sasha scheduled the appointment on another date, which meant we didn't have a choice but to take them LATE (she did apologize) because we scheduled our move with them and we didn't have a last minute back up movers (why do it when we made an appt with them?). We also had to change our other appointments for the day because they came in late. The two mover boys (looked like high schoolers) were so skinny (I bet no more than 150 pounds) that I felt bad for them. They were probably the only ones available because of last minute changes by Sasha. We had to cut their time in 2 hours because we had other errands and tasks and appointments other than watch them move our things to the truck the entire afternoon. Because of Sasha's mismanagement, we had to hurry the movers and not finish everything nor organize everything in the truck efficiently. After running errands all day, my husband (a Veteran with broken back from service) was forced to redo the furnitures in the truck because it was inneficiently placed in a hurry. My husband finally was able to fit everything and not have empty gaps and spaces. He shouldn't have had to do it if we weren't crunched up in time. I don't blame the two movers for the problem because they were tasked on the job at the last minute. I blame the mismanagement of Sasha. Another thing, they don't tell you ahead of time that they only take cash. What is this service, Craigslist? I always am skeptical with services who only take cash because there's no way of keeping track of it legally. It's the 21st century and unless your square/card reader is broken or you don't know how to cash a check, a company should be able to take money in all legal forms. Also, iHall cost more than the Salem movers we hired. Salem movers cost way less than iHall, take card/check/cash payment, were right on time, and had bigger adult guys. 2 hours with iHall cost $160 for 2 movers while Salem only cost me $180 for 3 hours and 2 movers. After a few years of living in Roseburg, I'm glad we left. I wouldn't trust iHall if we just moved somewhere in Douglas County. Update: My husband called and the phone was on speaker so I could hear everything in the conversation. My husband clarified that he was not informed of us, customers, calling the night before the appointment date. He called twice the week before the appointment to confirm everything and that should be enough. iHall messed up the date and should not blame the customer for this. He also clarified that cash was the form of payment we were told to pay. No card was mentioned like the business response here. We do not have so many things. But because they had rookies move our things, it took them longer than necessary and inefficiently. Again, it was not the kids' fault. I feel bad for them. But they're dragged in this issue because of the owners mismanagement. Justin did say he was going to refund us the money last Thursday. Now just awaiting it in the mail. i Hall damaged my property then quit the job! Here's what happened: I reserved i hall from movinghelp.com. Informed them that the job was on 2nd floor, with a difficult door and involved a heavy couch. They arrived on time, I showed them the job. They stated that they needed moving blankets (did not specify what for), I told them I there were some out in my vehicle. Without any further advice or requests from us, they picked up the couch, moved it half way out the door (they did not even take the movable slider out) and ripped the couch. We inquired about their insurance to cover the damage, they became aggravated, very condescending and told us they would not cover it because it was common sense that the couch should have been wrapped and that we did not have supplies. As we are not movers, it was not common sense to us, and the couch was delivered, undamaged by furniture delivery a few months prior, with no wrapping and no damage. The movers then stated that they were done and walked away. They said they would "help me find someone else" which was not helpful to me as I needed movers for the time I scheduled. They even cancelled themselves so i was unable to leave a review on movinghelp.com. I was finally able to find alternate movers that were awesome, but still hours behind schedule and with damaged property. They have "EXCELLENT" ratings because if they don't think they'll get a 5-star rating, they QUIT! Once I cancelled the order (at his request), I could NO LONGER review his service on movinghelp.com. I Hall movers are awful!! When we had to move out of our home for 3 months because it need some rehab work done, our landlord hired them. They broke my bed, so my landlord had to buy us a new one. They took shavings of wood from my daughter's dresser because they didn't move it right. The workers are so physically small that my husband, who has back problems, had to step in and help move our heavy stuff. They didn't even put boxes that were clearly labeled in the right rooms. And where in such a hurry to get out of there that they did not even reassemble my daughter's bed like they were supposed and we didn't catch until they were gone. First time using this company May of 2016, Unloading in Yachats. Perfect, professional, and quick. Through Moving Help.com with Uhaul. So impressed, I wanted to call them directly when we sold and were ready to move again Sept 6th, 2017 from Google Search. Instead I had called Elite Movers from online listed number, but was given their direct number and called that one. Would not come out unless they could have a 4 man crew for a 2-3 bedrm home and 26' truck. Also said they needed $320 deposit. Gave deposit via CC. When they came, complained constantly of our use of plastic Totes, which I have NEVER has issues with prior ( I move and renovate homes for a living), would not stack them more than 2 high, and or wedged them in between large objects such as the wrapped sofas, which were also not loaded correctly. Sofas are to be stacked on end, and these were laid flat, with things above and below them. When texting me, their text and caller ID came through as "Elite Movers". Who I had contacted initially. This was suspicious, so they are one and the same, and felt I was being played. So, they Load the truck, and again, complained about not having enough blanket pads. I had rented 60 and have always done well with much less for same load. They also left in the house in plain sight, my 60" TV in a TV packing box, and I had reminded them twice to not forget to please load it. So, I had to find a place to load it after they left, where I thought it would be safe. When we arrived at our Idaho destination, and opened the back, immediately saw major shifting. They had stacked loose small pieces of furniture on the bottom center of truck, and those items were all shuffled and rubbing against themselves and other objects where padding was improperly loosely wrapped or missing, damaging many antique pieces. I have photos and will post those on review sites where applicable. Upon completion (minus my 60" TV still in the house) My final payment was $370. They said their credit card devise was not functioning and needed cash, this after deposit was a credit card. I told them I had no bank in my village, or access to cash. That I only had checks if they could not take a card. Initially refusing, but playing nice, relented to accepting the check. Total cost was nearly $700. Where my unload with them via Moving Help.com was $300 less with 3 people. Our unloading team in Idaho through Moving Help.com showed us unused bundles of blanket pads hidden in the front of the load that could have been used for the loose items, also they had wrapped rolled and shrink-wrapped area rugs, which do not need pads, and wasted needed blankets. My advise, despite my past issues with Moving Help.com, I would NEVER book this group unless going through them as to Not over pay, and NEVER give them the payment code upon completion if they do not do the job correctly. read more
