We needed to coordinate 47 teams, each having their own custom music for the parade. Joe made sure we were all set up and organized ahead of time. He met me a couple weeks beforehand at the location to make sure he understood our needs and the problems we had in the past so we didn't repeat them. On the day of the event, Joe was there plenty early to make sure everything was set up perfectly. During the event, he made sure everything was perfect and made adjustments on the fly. Others in attendance made other style lamps but the glass dome was the common denominator and you could upgrade before you started if you wanted to. Elisa was our instructor and she was very charming and a fun facilitator. During the workshop we received Turkish tea and a sample of Turkish delight candy. It was a nice touch to round out the day. The entire project comes in a box and you work on the glass globe in class with your pattern, glue and tweezers all included. Prices vary on what project you pick ranges from $50-$150. It's totally worth the value for a 2.5 hr class. Good for any craft skill levels. I would say ok for teenagers and up but not for smaller kids. You have to be careful with your glass globe as well as the very small glass and mirror pieces. I took pictures to show the workshop and some of our progress. We finished gluing the glass patterns on and only need to finish off with the plaster kit at home to complete the globe and assemble our Aladdin's Lamp. We took a look at some of her work and were shocked to see how great and how exact her work was to what we were looking for. What was even more shocking to us was the price she was charging. We went ahead and contacted her asap because we really wanted to have our engagement session done on our Anniversary. She replied lightning fast! She's got a big, comfy studio, and she's great at coming up with creative backgrounds for your various looks. (Yeah, there are cheaper options out there, but like most things in life, you get what you pay for.) She gets your photos back to you in a day or two -- no more chasing down the photographer to try to get the headshots you already paid for -- and she's got a very user-friendly website you can use to review your photos and submit them for any desired retouches. But I'm so happy with this second batch of headshots that I actually won't be needing ANY retouches. Lauren is the best headshot photographer I've ever had, and I'll recommend her to anybody who'll listen.
