    BOURBON BACON BENNY

Not sure why Ihop moved from Shawnessey to South center. The resturant is clean and new. The server was friendly. It was pretty empty but food took a real long time to get to table. We didn't order anything hard. Classic Benny and bourbon bacon with pancakes. We tried one of the new biscuits as well. The country sampler came with shredded potatoes. The potatoes were blah. Pancakes were really nice. The eggs on Benny were too runny.$65 for 3. Pretty pricy for what u get. I'd rather go to a local resturant. There is also no fruit on the plates like Cora

Really good breakfast joint for a chain restaurant. Was busy this Sunday morning. The hostess seated us immediately. I ordered the steak, eggs and bacon with a side of pancakes. Everything came out super fast and our waitress was super sweet. Grabbed us all the condiments our hearts could desire. I like this place a lot, big breakfast for little price. Lots of parking, child friendly, a little bit dirty (had to send a cup with lipstick on it back). But it was busy there so I'll give them that.

Was really craving for some blueberry pancakes as I just returned from a city in UK without any decent north American style breakfast. Even though the red velvet pancake was very tempting as well, I got the blueberry pancske breakfast anyhow. The portion size was huge, 2 pancakes, sausage, eggs and hash brown. The pancakes absolutely hit my sweet spot, they had blueberry stuffed in the pancakes along with a blueberry sauce on top. They were out of the world! Even better than what I hoped for. The service was amazing too, the waitress was very attending. Great experience overall, will come back another day for More pancakes!

Third time at IHOP and it has always been busy. Again, we lined up for at least 20 minutes under the name "Elsa"(from Frozen), isn't that cute! There were 10 people before us, but the wait wasn't too bad at all. The place was packed, but we still got our orders in quickly and our server was super personable. We waited(there were 3 of us) for about 30 or so minutes for our food, which is understandable because the place is quite busy. But 30 minutes isn't that long to wait really, because I have waited longer than that at a restaurant that was not busy. The food was definitely worth the wait. We ordered their new french toasted donuts - applefritter and strawberries and cream. Both came with your own choice of bacon, sausages, hash browns and 2 eggs. And we also ordered the cinastax pancakes. They were all great and we had no complaints whatsoever. I am already planning on coming back to order their maple bacon french toasted donut this upcoming weekend!

    Michelangelo for the win

Service very shoddy. Steak omelette very poor. I know it's not a steak house but the meat was old and fatty. I will not go back again.

When we were seated, our server told us the table time limit was "an hour to an hour and a half." Fair enough. Most brunch spots give you a solid 90 minutes. But 50 minutes in, a different server advised us we had 10 minutes left. That's a 60-minute window, not the 90 we'd been quoted, and it wasn't framed as an apology or a one-off. Just a clipped warning. Being abruptly rushed out more than half an hour earlier than promised soured what should have been a really lovely morning with family who I hadn't seen in years. If you're popping in solo for a quick bite, the kitchen earns the trip. If you're hoping for an unhurried meal with people who actually matter to you, I'd look somewhere else.

Kind, well-spoken, gentle, efficient, always a smile on her face and she went above and beyond. I had a 12:15 pm reservation. Unfortunately a group was taking much longer than expected. I waited over 30+ mins to be seated and so yes, I could've made a scene, but that wouldn't be me. Phoebe could've just let things be ... you know? Because "it is what it is". But she didn't. Once she seated me and my friend, she offered to take photos for me and of me. SO thoughtful! She also brought me a beautiful ice cream with a sparkling candle in it. SO sweet! She smiled at me every time she walked by almost as a way to make sure I was doing OK and feeling good. She was WAY more attentive than our female server who looked, sounded and acted like she couldn't leave work soon enough. Wasn't going to let her dampen my birthday though... Food tasted good. Presentation was beautiful. The male server who took over was SUPERB. Genuinely happy to "close out" our transaction with him. He was super attentive and willing to make everything go well. Thank you, Phoebe and male server for making my birthday memorable. XO

The space offers a mix of seating which had indoor tables and a section with food court-style seating that's technically still indoors but feels more casual. It wasn't overly busy when I went, and the atmosphere was fine. Since I couldn't decide what to order, I asked the server for a recommendation. They suggested the Traditional Benny, mentioning that making it "Canadian style" includes maple syrup on the side. I also went with the Get Shorty Rib Poutine, which looked amazing when it came out, but the flavor just didn't quite live up to the presentation. It wasn't bad, just okay. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but I didn't think it lived up to the hype. I'd give it three stars.

Today I tried the SHAKSHUKA Stewed plum tomatoes, lemon, peppers, jalapeños, Za'atar spice, chickpeas, poached eggs, cow feta, fresh herbs, French rye bread. Service is standard, open kitchen, nice ambiance showcasing eggs.

We were shocked to find another couple sitting at our reserved table--frankly, I hadn't anticipated it would be a shared table for eight in the first place. To make matters worse, we were rushed to order and pay the bill. After that couple left, another pair were seated at our six-person table without any explanation. Our dishes arrived in two separate waves with a 10-minute gap. They also automatically added an 18% tip for parties of more than five people, which I expect at least we should have a private table. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the server, the owner came out and became confrontational and aggressive. He raised his voice, saying I could "tell him what I am not satisfied with." Then he offered a refund, which I immediately declined, and afterward snatched a package of coffee from the counter and offered it as compensation. I refused again--it felt more like an insult than a genuine apology. After we posted our reviews, the owner privately messaged my friend, asking us to remove them and citing the "small Chinese community" as a reason we should support each other. That's incredibly manipulative. Using community guilt to pressure customers into deleting honest feedback is inappropriate and only reinforces our negative experience. I will not be returning.

By the time it arrived, everything was stone cold. The cheese was literally hard from melting and then going cold, the potatoes were undercooked and raw, and the entire meal was completely inedible. Spending $35 on food that went straight in the garbage is beyond frustrating, it's infuriating. And the $5 "seasonal fruit bowl" looked like someone's picked-over leftovers. A couple random pieces tossed in a container and sent out like that's acceptable? It's honestly disgusting and shows a complete lack of quality control. At this point, I would've been better off ordering McDonald's for a third of the price, because at least it would've shown up hot and edible. This is careless, overpriced, and completely unacceptable. 1STAR. Complete fail.
