My family ordered breakfast from IHOP today. It was absolutely wonderful. As in-dining is suspended due to COVID, we decided to do the pick-up option. The food was packed in great containers and the food was hot. As an added bonus, the food was completely ready to go when I went to pick up the food. Oh IHOP. How you've disappointed me so. I think I could've built my own international house of pancakes in the time it took me to get served at your place. I showed up earlier this week but there were no clean tables and there was a line. No problem. I'll come back a different day. Different day, I sat down after a minute or two but then the orange juice took forever. The waitress forgot it. Then apparently grew a tree to get the oranges. Then the pancakes took long, I've already made my joke about the time it took. I'm no scheduling expert, but I think you need more staff. Then people who came in after me got their food before me.. and they had more people at their table. Hows that work? My waffle was over cooked. We used to love IHOP but in the past two trips we've had extra crispy waffles (read burnt). This trip we had to send back under cooked bacon (pink and white bacon) the table next to us sent their bacon back 2 times and the table behind us sent their eggs back to get warmed up. The price is decent and food is still better than Dennys, but the quality doesn't love up to the brand standard. read more

The food was decent maybe even good considering it's a chain resturant. Our waitress was friendly but the dinning experience was destroyed by another distraught waitress coming into our section to complain to our waitress. She loudly spoke about snake being found in the resturant earlier in day and practical shouted her desire to to quit because of the way she was being treated by management. I sympathize with the girl but there is a time and place for things like this and it isn't in the center of a resturant. I gave IHOP a harsh review last year based on a bad experience, but since then, they've redeemed themselves. You're never going to get a gourmet breakfast here, but if you go in with appropriate expectations, it's not so bad. Service is usually really fast. Eggs are typically only okay, but we've only had disappointing pancakes once. I'm actually a big fan of the Swedish crepes, and have had good luck with the waffles, too. Nothing fancy-- it's an IHOP. I'm really not sure what is going on with this iHOP. Maybe it's the management, not sure. The last three or four visits have all been the same but the last was especially terrible. Our waiter couldn't remember coffee refills even when we asked twice. The food took 45 minutes to come out and most of it was cold. or wrong. Check was incorrect too Pancakes, eggs, bacon -- some of the easiest things to make. The food is always slow coming out despite the place usually being empty. Well we got there and we're told we had a 20 minute wait at 11 a.m. An hour later we were seated. It was six of us and they said pushing two tables together was a little more difficult than they thought. They seated us on the side window deck/garage where there is no heat. We sat down and ordered immediately. The waitress seemed to be reading from a script because any questions we asked she just kept repeating we will be glad to look at that. After we ordered she returned and said oh I forgot to include a side for my spicy beef bowl meal. I gave it to her and she vanished. She would periodically come out and ask if we wanted more to drink. An hour and fifteen minutes later they brought out the food. My son's pancakes were crunchy the spicy beef bowl was dry but the did include a tablespoon of queso on the side so that was thoughtful. They forgot my side they told me I could have. The entire time we sat next to a table that was filthy and still had half eaten food on it. It may still be there because it was there when we left. The group had eggs and waffles with strawberries but they never brought the strawberries. We also had pancakes and the spicy beef bowl. I don't think this order should have taken an hour and fifteen minutes. Then we went to check out and no one was at the register. We waited five minutes to pay. A total of three hours from check in to check out. Never a manager to be seen. I will be sure to never return. I give any establishment a break because of what they have been going through but this place has been like this for almost six months. Worst experience at a restaurant in a very long time. Even though there was hardly anyone there had to wait a long time to be seated. Ask for a few minutes to look over the menu. Waiter finally came back to take our order 10 minutes later. The table next to us got cold food. The waiter must have been hard of hearing because he spoke very loudly. The whole restaurant heard what we ordered. He spoke very loudly with the other staff. Someone in the kitchen also found a need to hoot and holler. After he delivered our order he just disappeared. I have Celiac disease. This is a severe autoimmune intolerance to gluten, something most restaurants are aware of. I came to this certain iHop after fasting for blood work, so I was very hungry. My waitress had zero idea what gluten itself even was and so I asked for their nutritional information, but she was only able to provide me with calorie counts. Anyways, breakfast food is an easy thing for me to eat, eggs are simple enough. After I explained my entire condition to this waitress, who had now involved the manager, I ordered an omelet with cheese and breakfast potatoes on the side. I then find out that they add pancake batter to their eggs and they wouldn't make them any differently for me. They also explained that the breakfast potatoes would probably be "seasoned with gluten"... so stupid. Especially for people who claim to not even know what gluten is. At this point I was very frustrated and in need of some sort of food, so I just got a fruit cup and my mom ordered actual food. In the midst of my order being prepared, the manager continually stopped at our table to tell me that he was making sure with the kitchen that my food wasn't cross contaminated. Seriously? With fruit?? He stopped far too many times, touched my arm once (which I found to be kinda too much) and at this point my mother and I were OVER IT. To end it all, my tiny fruit cup comes out looking so so gross and old. I haven't ever been so unsatisfied with the way a restaurant handled my Celiac and I will not be going to this location ever again. read more

This restaurant is terrible. The food looks great on tv but when we got it it was cold and didn't taste too good It shows a lot of berries on the french toast , I had 1 blackberry on two pieces. Not really sure how this place stays open food took forever to come out and then when it did it was cold and plate was dirty manager took one meal off and the other one wasn't even cook. The the cook comes out of the back and has food all over his cloths and hat so make you wonder how clean the kitchen is. It's Veterans Day, we expected it to be a little busy, it was. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. We waited another 15 minutes for our coffee and 50 minutes for our food. While waiting for our server, there was a manager- Brenda- screaming out names for people to be seated. She seated a couple across from us and made the comment " she couldn't wait for this to be over" referring to the Veterans Day special. So sorry that our Veterans have inconvenienced the manager. We went here after church one Sunday. Fortunately, it wasn't too busy, and we got seated right away. Our server was very confused though, getting a lot of things wrong. I went here after a band competition last night. It was around 12 so it was pretty late. There was only one server and one chef so I understood the wait for the food. There was 5 of us who got food. I ordered steak and eggs, so again I understood it would take some time. But it took 2 and a half hours. And when I got my food, I went to eat my steak and it tasted like absolute sh*t. That's the only way I could describe it. The steak was sweet, soft, and chewy. Idk what they fed me, but it wasn't steak. And I instantly felt like I had to throw up, and 30 minutes later on the way home I did. DEFINITELY will not come back here again. Very disappointed. read more

Not a great dining experience, got a combo breakfast eggs , meat, potatoes, and pancakes.. I asked the waitress to bring the pancakes first, hold the rest breakfast until I finished. They brought 2 small pancakes the size of a small toast plate. Really? Absolutely no room to cut your pancakes... plus they were tiny! You would think that a place that is known for their pancakes that they would be fluffy and featured, not a side note.. but as you guessed, they brought everything at the same time! So naturally part of my breakfast was warm , the rest cold.. I guess I won't get a breakfast combo next time... I filled out their survey on the sheet, the mgr called me the next Day and said you are 100% right! We will try to do better... It had been several years since I had went to this IHOP and tonight just reminded me why. Ordered for 3 people only 1 order was even close to right. I asked if my sandwich was on white bread and was told yes, it was on sour dough, my husband ordered chicken fingers and fries, she came back out and asked he stated again chicken fingers and fries and was served chicken patties and fries my granddaughter ordered the dessert crepes with cream and strawberries directly from the menu her crepes had zero cream and when we said something about this (she had eaten pretty much all of them other than what she shared with her little brother) we were told they don't have cream in their crepes any longer. I said that they are on the menu that way and the manager just made excuses about how she is training new people and offered a discount. The discount we were given is a discount that I am entitled to anyway as a Veteran and when I tried to do the survey, the server # was invalid so I could not do it online, I had to call, when I called I was not able to speak to anyone and was not asked any further questions to address the fact that the manager just wanted to give excuses. It would be one thing to have some mix ups if it was busy but there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and it also took forever to get our food. The wait staff, food and cleanliness were all poor. We were seated outside of the kitchen and a senior member of the wait staff was going in and out of the kitchen whistling if it were a holiday or any tune it might not have been so aggravating. There were three of us in our party none of which ordered anything out of the ordinary or made any special requests and our order came out incomplete and prepared different than what was ordered. The eggs that I ordered were supposed to be over medium yet when I cut into the egg white on both of the eggs served over a tablespoon of clear uncooked egg ran all over my plate. The side of toast was for the most part not buttered then there was no butter or margarine available on our table for the toast or the orders of pancakes that we all ordered. The regular syrup dispenser that was brought to our table was broken with the top of this dispenser being dirty and had white old crystallized syrup caked all over the top including all around the spout. When Denzel our waiter told management that we were unhappy we did not receive a visit from management instead Denzel came back to the table letting us know that our bill would be adjusted. While Denzel was not a good waiter you could tell that he was trying his best and it was quite obvious that his and the rest of the wait staff lack of polish was the fault of ownership and or management. Ownership and or management is allowing the facility to have a dirty unkempt appearance, they are not training and monitoring the wait staff ensuring they are satisfying their guests and at no point did we witness management cycle the floor to check on their guests. This is not somewhere that we will be returning to eat anytime soon. read more
