Ok. I did not want to comment on IHOP because the one in Saint Cloud MN was such a disaster a few years ago that I vowed never to go back. Well back in Picayune and decided we wanted Breakfast out. Amazing. No more sticky carpets. Very Clean and great staff. And the most amazing Omelettes ever. We will have to make this our Breakfast Destination more often. read more

If you haven't been to this location in awhile, come. They've renovated the location and it looks great, clean and ready to serve you. Their AC is cranking, it's easy to get in and out just off the highway and plenty of parking. It's National Pancake Day of 2024 and I gave up on the Slidell location so I ventured out in these parts to try this location again since first visiting in 2016. They've also released their pumpkin spice flavor pancake, not a crazy pumpkin spice fan but it's the pancake of the month and I'd thought I'd give a try. Hostess/waitress was very professional and polite. Started us with drinks and took our order. Food arrived at a reasonable time and looked just like the menu picture. The place was dead. Only two tables of two when we walked in. There was only one server and we were a party of 15 people. We were sat at 6:15pm. I'm pretty sure there was only one cook as well. Oh and the server was also the cashier. She sat us, got our drinks and the one app we ordered. Told us she would be back in 6 minutes. 45 minutes later at 7pm we were finally able to place our food order. Food started coming out around 7:40pm and the last meal came at 8pm. I had a hair in my salad. I'm glad I hadn't staying eating it yet. She took it back and just doubled my other side. They were also out of 2 other things I ordered so I couldn't even eat what I wanted. Needless to say. I will not be going back. read more

Place was dirty , food looked like a horror movie it was inedible, waitress was nice but every food brought to us was raw and chicken was pinkish inside and they fried food in old black reused oil. I feel bad for anyone going down there and bringing their kids and family. It's just sad! read more

I wanted more than fast food and a drive through around 7:30 tonight. One of the few sit down restaurants open for his was ihop. As I approached from Veterans Boulevard I wondered if they were actually open because the sign near the street was almost dark and the building sign was only half lit. Also, the lights in the roof eaves were all out. If it wasn't for the cars in the parking lot I would have suspected that it was closed. After a few minutes of waiting I was offered any of the front booth seating just before another customer rushed in through the front door, nearly running into me and bypassing the hostess/ server. She went to a far booth where the hostess/ server skipped past me and took her order. The hostess/ server then asked if I wanted a menu. Usually that is automatically a given. She then asked for my drink and went to the server line. She came back with everyone's drinks and a menu. I ordered the mega monster burger with no ihop sauce (which i suspect would be thousand island dressing like every other "special sauce" is) and well done French fries. While waiting and beginning this review I noticed that the faux wood floors had sticky food residue in many places along the main aisle for the booths and going to the server line. Also, many bits of paper from sweetener packs and straw wrappers under the tables. The meal was good. Presentation was as expected and the food was as ordered. I usually do not like pickles and onions on a burger, but those can be removed, sauces can't. The server asked if I would like any ketchup and I agreed. She brought a plastic cup of it instead of a bottle due to COVID-19 restrictions, but it was enough for the nicely well done, crispy fries and a little on the burger. The twin patties were well done and there was a generous amount of Romaine lettuce, a slice of tomato, only a few pieces of onion, and about six bread and butter pickle slices. The meat could have used some seasoning, but was palatable and enhanced by the two types of cheese. All of the vegetables were fresh and the patties still hot. In all it was good enough that I nearly cleaned my plate. My server was very nice and responsive and offered several refills of my drink. She also promptly removed my plate and glasses. She said they were open all night ( it was a Saturday) and to take my time since I had brought a book to read. She was chatty with her other customers and had a friendly attitude. We visited on a Saturday morning the restaurant was not very busy although it took two hours for us to receive our food. My son never received a refill on his drink. Several customers came in and sat was never waited on and got up and left. I do NOT recommend this place read more

While the wait staff was nice and friendly, the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Caitlin, I believe her name was, was yelling at our poor waitress in front of the whole restaurant. I've never seen anything like it in my life. When I confronted her about it, she said "STAY THE HELL OUT OF IT, B!TCH!!!" I talked to our waitress afterwards and gave her a really good tip. It's not her fault her manager is trash. Whoever owns that store, you need to find better managers. read more

Our eggs were undercooked, hashbrowns were over cooked. Our waitress was very nice and sweet, but have very poor management.

This is the first time I have ever eaten here and it was terrible. The bathrooms were disgusting, paper all over the floor, bloody paper at that!!! The service was extremely slow and honestly they were not that busy. They had at least 5 or more people waiting tables. i told the manager and she said oh ok I'll get right to it. We left and the manager was out back of the building smoking a cigarette wow getting right to it. Tim & his crew run a great restaurant where staff knows your name and your order. Any issues are handled well . The food is great!

Normal ihop food, some location can make food horrible but here everything was good, hot, no complaints etc.. our waitress was so pleasant. She was very sweet and courteous. This was the only thing open when we past though on Thanksgiving. It was clean location and staff was friendly. read more

Extremely poor service. It was not busy, lots of empty tables. Waited 7 mins to be seated, another 13 mins for server. Immediately ordered our breakfast but after 30 mins with no food or server coming back to let the server know that the drink order was wrong we got up and left. Hostess was NOT friendly. It's really all about the morning time IHOP in Picayune. Sundays being the best home feeling one can get in a restaurant. After about 11am it dies down and unwinds until about 7pm for dinner, which usually is people saying yeah I guess we'll eat IHOP for dinner. Its all about the morning breakfast at this one. We had the worst waitress of our entire lives... Nicole. She took forever to take our orders, get our orders to us, and she kept flirting and rubbing her body on my husband. She kept gossiping about strangers at another table to us which we did not want to be a part of. She forgot our silverware and then when it was pointed out, she laughed as if we weren't seriously waiting to eat. When she came up to me at the table, she reeked really bad of cigarette smoke. As we were finishing our meal, she randomly came up to us and started complaining about her job and talking nonsense that didn't make sense. It felt like she was a compulsive liar handling our food and evening. She insulted me when my husband pointed out that I was five months expecting and told me I was too skinny and continued to insult me as she talked about herself. We wanted to get up and leave but she wouldn't stop pushing saying we knew her boyfriend that we obviously didn't know. We just wanted to go home and never have to meet her ever again, so we won't be going to this ihop ever again. read more
