There were also some very large mounted moth specimens and some taxidermied bats if that's your thing. Truly something for everyone in all price ranges. Super welcoming and helpful staff. Definitely going back despite the long drive (for me).

Came here for the first time on a Saturday. And quite surprisingly this place was not filled not…read morebusy and lots of great parking spaces. This is such a relief versus the IKEA near me which is in Schaumburg Illinois. Glad to say we found almost everything we needed. However, their own systems were having a glitch with their inventory and availability, as well as checking out hence the four stars. But we were very lucky to meet an employee who was super helpful in getting us an item that the system had a glitch on. She also admitted that the system was having a glitch, so it was not my imagination. We also went to the food court, of course and the food was delicious. I'll be at not necessarily hot, but there is a microwave in the seating area where you can heat up your food. Also disappointing about the food area was that I didn't actively see anyone cleaning all the tables and chairs and on this particular day, an employee confirmed they had officially run out of napkins. This IKEA, although is a little bit smaller than I'm used to is fantastic because for a Saturday afternoon to not have to fight crowds is such a relief!!!!

Teak just has that quality to it that makes you want - or need - to reach out and run your hands over it. The rest of the furniture here is pretty nice too, especially some of the sofas and chairs. Whether your taste leans toward curvy or angular, it's all here. The designs here are most definitely Scandinavian contemporary and simple, but also have a classic esthetic that means you won't have to replace them every time you change your wall and floor coverings or your entire house. That's a good thing, because apart from super-Scan design giant IKEA, this stuff is not cheap! Bonus: nice, unobtrusive salespeople who don't make feel pressured, but are there when you need them.

I am happy to pay for good quality furniture that I expect to last me at least 10 years, so price was not a con for me. I have visited here several times, and each time had a pleasant experience. The sales people do not follow you around, or rush up to you when you enter to tell you all about their specials. They allowed me to browse at my leisure, and made me aware that they were available to help me if I needed it. I was very impressed with how quickly I was able to purchase my couch. I asked the saleswoman to sell me the chair and within 10 minutes I was out the door with delivery (free if you pay over $500) set up for two days later. I loved how quickly they were able to deliver the furniture. The pieces in this store are such a great mic of modern and retro, that they will complement almost any decor. There is something for everyone here, but especially those with mid century homes. I found exactly what I was looking for here, and will be coming back if I need anything else for my new home.

Unfortunately, within a short amount of time, the top started to crack. SD did replace that unit under warranty. The second one has now also cracked in the same spot. SD said even though I've had the unit a short amount of time, it didn't reset the warranty period. Told me to get it fixed myself and cover the costs myself. They did give me a reference of who to call to fix it. My advice is to avoid SD wood furniture especially the Mazi sideboard, as they don't offer quality items that last over time. Special Note, Kaitlyn, the customer service inidividual responded to me in a timely manner and was very respectful. I have purchased other items from SD, a leather couch, leather recliner and ottoman, 4 dining chairs for my daughter, 2 outside teak chairs, and was very surprised SD doesn't value loyalty to their customers, but expect it from their customers.

In what appears to be a small storefront, there is an excellent selection of pieces. There is a clearance area with floor models ready for sale but most furniture is custom ordered. The owner, Ron, worked patiently with us to design the perfect sectional for our home. I hope we like it- we won't know until it's delivered!
