This was my first time here, and I had a really good experience. I ordered a strawberry drink with matcha cold foam and a mango drink with matcha cream foam, and both were really good and refreshing. Such a lovely locally owned coffee shop in Fishers! I was craving the famous Biscoff Latte and today was the day. The Biscoff Latte didn't disappoint with its creamy texture, nutty flavor and a hint of vanilla. It did become rather sweet for me in the end, but that's my personal preference. The coffee house was full on a Saturday afternoon and the barista was quick and polite. What caught my attention was the glass case filled with a variety of middle eastern goodies and delicious vegan offerings. There was also this case that had currency notes and on asking I got to know that customers who visited from all over the world gave their currencies as their representation. Such diversity! Some say the best ability is availability...that is what led me to the 116th location of MOTW. I was looking for a late night coffee shop with good vibes and good Wi-Fi and boy did I strike gold! I'm so used to just getting my coffee and getting into a flow only to be told, "sorry sir we're about to close" , that coming to MOTW on the weekend felt like I somehow snuck into a secret zone of late night bliss. My favorite drink is the Rosemary Honey Latte and if I'm in "treat yo self" mode the cranberry muffin or baklava is a perfect team up. I've heard of the Biscoff latte and I've been dying to try it. I asked the barista if I should go with the Biscoff or butterscotch and he suggested the Biscoff. I was not disappointed! It's so yummy. It's in the sweeter side but not overly sweet. It's delicious. I will be back to try the butterscotch to compare. They offer pastries as well. The coffee shop is open and airy with plenty of seats as well as some books for more private conversations. Their display case has a lot of treats and I can highly recommend these if you are in the mood for something to go with your beverage! I came across this gem by mistake but was happy to find it! It's a chic coffee shop with beautiful décor and a welcoming environment. MOTW stands for Muslims of the World, so all of the décor is centered around this including information on the journey of the MOTW founders. Today is the celebration of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr (I believe this is the end of Ramadan, the Muslim Holy Month), so there were some off-menu specials available. I tried the Date Cardamom latte (with oat milk) and it was very pleasant! It had a mild, caramel-like sweetness. Definitely recommend (if they ever bring it back) and it leaves me eager to try their standard menu options. They had many pastry options (a variety of muffins, different baklava options) but I opted for the 'Mini Rose.' I really enjoyed the texture of the shredded phyllo dough. It was crunchy and sweet, like honey, and was filled with pistachios on the inside. Overall, a nutty and sweet bite. Finally had an opportunity to try MOTW after reading about them in Indystar and their community mission. The staff was incredibly friendly. They educated us on the unique pastry options. We tried and couple and they were very light and sweet. I also had a cardamom iced latte. This was delicious! My husband got the chai latte that had a great flavor as well! A bit pricey, but the Middle Eastern pastries are worth it. They do also offer muffins and more traditional American pastries, but I do recommend at least trying some of the 'unknowns' as they are generally quite delicious. I am a creature of habit, so for me it's either a Latte or a Cappuccino, both are delicious here. The interior is inviting and unexpectedly spacious with lots of different seating options available. However, if you are social distancing, the various seating groups are apart enough to accommodate you. The decor is decidedly Middle Eastern and the intricate designs are stunning. This is a cute coffee shop with delicious Middle Eastern offerings! People love the lattes, specifically the Biscoff latte, but I opted for chamomile tea this time. I wanted to try the Yemeni chai, but they pre-sweeten it and I'm not a lover of sweetness. They have a big glass case of muffins, baklava, honeycomb bread, and more too. I had to get a side of baklava and it was delicious and very sweet. I also like that they keep Sea Salt & Cinnamon baked goods on hand, which are local, vegan baked goods. I'm so happy an MOTW location opened up in Fishers! The area had been needing a new coffee shop. I love that they are open late--great for students needing a late-night study spot. They also have a variety of seating options, including counter height tables for two, 4-6 person tables, outdoor tables, and the iconic pair of cushioned chairs in front of their logo and wall of real plants. Along with the plant wall, their other walls and tables have laser printed geometric designs. They have board games available to play, and this location even has a mini aquarium, so it's fun for kids! Parking is easily accessible, and the shop is located near many other businesses that pair well with coffee. Additionally, the baristas are always lovely. As for the drinks and food, I love them! They have a lot of beverage options, using a wide array of syrups and unique combinations, such as rosemary, honey, lavender, biscoff, date, cardamom, coconut, etc. There's espresso, tea, refreshers, and hot chocolate, to name a few. The drink sizes are small, medium, and large, and the prices range from about $5-$7 depending on the size. The food they offer is authentic and flavorful--with options you can't find at any other regular coffee shop. Empanadas are cool... but they're not the taste of home in the Middle East. Zatar toast is and always will be a favorite of mine. The turkey crossiant was just so exciting to me, as most American spots have ham/pork croissants. I have tried MOTW several times. Both in Carmel & Fishers. I have meetings at their Fishers location frequently. I think my biggest complaint would be consistency in the taste of their coffee. Sometimes it's so sweet to the point I cannot drink it or it's bland and not flavorful enough. I do love their array of options of pastries and seasonal drinks. They also have a punch card to use to work towards a free small drink. With that being said I do think it's absolutely wild to me to spend $9 on a coffee. Mediocre coffee at best. I would like to say that I did ask for oat milk and did tip around $1.50 so I'm sure that added to the total price. I'm sure if I didn't do either of those things it would equal out to around $7. However I always tip and always ask for oat milk. Maybe because it was a seasonal drink it was more expensive? I think I will return, but just be mindful of their pricing. I do feel their decor is pretty but at times it feels sterile and cold. I personally like a coffee shop to feel cozy and warm. This is mostly a personal thing. This is a nice little coffee shop right off of I-69 and 116th St. They have curated an awesome and quiet space for working, meeting with friends, or playing games! The shop is very open and showcases some awesome pieces of art on the walls. I was honestly shocked when I found out all of the different flavor offerings they have. I really wanted to try the Biscoff Latte, because I truly love Biscoff, but instead, I went with the Cardamom as the lady working said that was a bit less sweet. I absolutely loved the Cardamom flavoring and it was the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. Although, I will say next time I am going to try the Biscoff.
