    My ikea storage unit.

IKEA is a unique shopping experience in the way the store layout guides you through their floor displays. I get some useful design ideas in the showroom that make it worth the extra hiking I do to pickup my purchases. The in store cafe has decent, reasonably priced entrees when you're ready to take a break. Recommended.

This is a one story IKEA, so it's quite easy to navigate with a cart. As tradition, the restaurant is tucked inside but you can grab ice cream or a hot dog near the exit or as you enter. We had no issues finding our necessities in the Market Place and their kiosks for self service are easily findable. A very solid IKEA for any basic needs.

The wife and I stopped by to participate in the Stitch scavenger hunt before it ended but first we needed lunch. I appreciate the availability of plant based meatballs at the restaurant, as they were delicious! The combination of them, the peas covered in gravy were outstanding! I liked them so much I grabbed a few bags of frozen ones to bring home!

I was pleasantly surprised to see IKEAs cafeteria offer chicken chili verde, black beans, and plantains. The chicken was juicy and tender and the plantains were caramelized and sweet. Sorry Swedish meatballs--the chicken chili verde is the best dish at the IKEA cafeteria!

Ikea is a whole event. Plan to spend the better part of your day there, like it or not. The floorplan is a ridiculous maze that promises shortcuts that somehow cause you to make the same loop approximately eight times before finding the exit, this causing you to start again because you failed to find the thing you came for. It's great exercise though, especially on hit or cold days when it sucks to go for long walks outside. You will get your steps in, and then some. Sign up for the free Ikea Family card to get complimentary hot coffee on every visit, and don't you dare leave without a downing a crazy cheap vegan hotdogs, which are honestly infuriatingly delicious. They have no right being so good. Anyway, at least you've earned it after burning off all those calories on your urban hiking expedition.

If you're thinking about refreshing or remodeling your home on a decent budget, IKEA is a fantastic option. We've compared several stores and locations, and for us, IKEA consistently offers the best balance of price, modern style, and overall quality. The designs are practical yet stylish, making it easy to mix and match pieces to fit your space and lifestyle. Walking through the showroom is always inspiring--it really helps you visualize how your future home could look. There are plenty of ideas for every room, big or small, and something for almost every budget. When the time comes, we'll definitely be back to purchase more items. Highly recommended for home projects and fresh ideas. Come visit and see for yourself! Cheers

Just never know about IKEA. Do I need something, or does something need me. I was up in Round Rock so I decided to stop in. Walked around their maze, following their arrows on the floor. Great ideas for storage space and furniture. Thinking about replacing my TV stand with something that has more storage and a little more sturdy. I did get an under the cabinet storage rack. And I needed a squeegee. Nothing too exciting to bring home. But I did see some good ideas for the future.

When you're in Texas, you absolutely must find an excuse to visit IKEA! This iconic store is a treasure trove of furniture and inspiration, perfect for anyone looking to renovate their home and infuse it with light and vitality. A Shopper's Paradise There's so much to see and buy at IKEA, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring a large cart to fill with all the amazing finds. The prices are reasonably affordable, especially when compared to other retailers, making it easy to create a stylish space without breaking the bank. Clean and Convenient The store is clean and tidy, providing a pleasant shopping experience. Plus, you'll find restrooms and a dining area where you can grab a meal, including their famous Swedish meatballs. Highly Recommended All in all, I highly recommend making a trip to IKEA. Whether you're looking for furniture or just some inspiration, it's a fantastic destination that promises to rejuvenate your sweet home!

The only IKEA for miles, but that's the norm. I haven't been in years, and went for lunch today. I was excited for my husband to FINALLY try the meatballs-- but we were both pretty disappointed. I don't know what happened to the food, but the meatballs were shriveled and a little bit sad. A giant $14 candle we bought was already broken in the package but we found out until we got home. Oh well. It's going in the also giant lantern we bought for under $30. So it all still looks lovely.

All the staffs at this IKEA are very accommodating and nice. They are very patient in directing me to where I need to be.

Great store , helpful people, easy to find and read and touch things , food choice and drinks available and kid friendly. Nice parking and wheelchair access available. Easy to check out and easy to ask for car delivery help.

I know there is a love/hate relationship with Ikea for many, which is understandable. When I lived in Sicily, this place was/is considered the Walmart of Europe. While I wouldn't build my house with Ikea ANYTHING, some items from this chain are acceptable. I built my closet with Ikea pieces for a fraction of the price that places like California Closets would have charged me. I purchased the PAX system to accommodate my needs. There are many options that can be put together with this model/style. This can be purchased in store or online but you must have your measurements for your space. I initially went into the store to purchase the units I required so I can see the units in person. This was an epic fail as the design machine at Ikea was down the day I went. I elected to go home and design and purchase the unit online. The pieces for my unit were delivered to my home within a period of a few weeks. I order mine with lighting. For those of you who are not good with electrical work, an Electrician may be required. I am happy with my closet and would purchase this system again.

How can I contact this store directly to see if they have an item in stock?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe you can check their inventory on-line. But I could be wrong. You can try (888) 888-4532 as well.

Since they reopened in Round Rock how hard is it to get in. Long line all day?

The line usually moves at a fast pace. It is especially short on weekdays.

Do they have pickup at the store? When I selected "Collect at Store" for Round Rock, I always see "We have received our maximum order capacity for the day, for this location. Please try again tomorrow." I tried couple of days.

They do offer it. It is limited. I found the best time was at midnight.

Is IKEA round rock opening in May 2021 or May 2020?

There is no confirmed date for when they will reopen due to COVID.

    Do they take Apple pay?

Yes they do. They also accept most other forms of tap to pay.

The details are below and I have pictures and text messages to back this up. On 24 Aug 2025: Star Furniture consultant (Maria P) informed us a price on a new bed frame was good for 2 weeks and that we had time to go purchase a new mattress, then when we knew the mattress delivery date we could order the bed frame to be delivered on the same day. This baited us to call back after we purchased the mattress. Sale Price: $2669 List Price: $3669 On 28 Aug 2025: We called back to purchase the bed from and were told (By consultant Angela) the was now $4787. That was $2116 more than we were quoted 4 days prior and told the price was good for 2 weeks. Sale Price: $4787 List Price: $6587 On 1 Sep 2025: We thought it was an error. So, we called back to talk with the original consultant (Maria P) a few days later. The original consultant remembers us and said she would try to get the price down but failed to do so. This seemed to be a deceptive practice in commerce. Telling us the price was good and then encouraging us to come back later to make the final purchase, and then jacking the price up. I left a very bad feeling that we were trying to be taken advantage of. So, we ended up going to a different furniture store to purchase the bed frame. This is sad because we liked a lot of items they had for sale and may have purchased more items at the location if they hadn't done the bait switch.

Extremely Poor Quality Product and Misleading Warranty Practices…read more I purchased a sleeper sofa from Living Spaces for more than $2,000. Given the price, I reasonably expected a durable, high-quality product. I also paid an additional $200 for the "Care Free" warranty after being told it would cover stains and tears occurring during the first five years of ownership. Just over one year after purchase, a seam on one of the cushions tore under normal use. I am a single adult, and the sofa receives very limited use. This was not the result of misuse, neglect, or excessive wear and tear. Rather, it appears to be a product quality or workmanship issue. When I submitted a claim under the extended warranty, it was denied on the basis that the defect allegedly existed at the time of delivery. This is a clear example of bad faith claim handling, as the tear clearly happened within the purchased warranty period. I then attempted to pursue the issue under the store's one-year warranty, only to be told it was denied because the claim arose after the one-year period had expired. The result is that neither the extended warranty nor the store warranty provides protection. Living Spaces sold me a warranty that was represented as covering tears for five years, yet when a tear occurred, coverage was denied. Meanwhile, the store disclaimed responsibility because the claim was made outside its one-year warranty period. The warranty is absolutely worthless--they will find any and every excuse to deny a claim. Most disappointing of all is the quality of the furniture itself. A sleeper sofa costing more than $2,000 should not be developing torn seams after barely a year of very minimal ordinary use. Living Spaces has left me with a defective product, no remedy, and a warranty that did not perform as represented. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing furniture or warranty coverage from this company. It is deceptive and fraudulent in my opinion. Ikea is better quality than this.

****A Warning to All Shoppers, Especially Active-Duty Military and Veterans*****…read more My recent experience at this Ashley Furniture store was a stark lesson in aggressive sales tactics and the illusion of a "magnificent deal." My goal in writing this is to arm and help future buyers with the information they need to avoid similar pitfalls. For my fellow military members and veterans, I have a particularly important piece of advice: always check the Exchange Online before you buy anywhere. Our visit began pleasantly enough. We were greeted by a kind sales associate named Amit, who helped us navigate the store and even followed up with us about a 0% interest financing deal. We appreciated his straightforward approach, and we were left to browse on our own. It was a positive start. As we moved through the showroom, we found a beautiful bedroom set that caught our eye: the "Signature Design by Ashley Foyland Panel Storage bedroom 5-piece set." We quickly realized that, priced at roughly $8,000, it was well outside of our $4,000 budget. Disappointed but resolute, my wife and I decided to leave and consider our other options at Living Spaces and Rooms to Go. This is when the experience took a turn. As we walked toward the exit, a man in a Tempur Pedic-branded white coat, who introduced himself as the sales manager, intercepted us. He asked what it would take to earn our business and offered to "make us a deal." My gut feeling was already on high alert when he confirmed he was the store manager, a common red flag in high-pressure sales. He asked for our price range and went to his desk to "see what he could do." He also claimed it was real wood, but we all know today's furniture from Big Brand Name stores is not real wood and made primarily of plywood or particle board with the faux wood laminate. He returned with a seemingly incredible offer: the full bedroom set, plus an extra nightstand, for $4,500. However, there was a catch we had to purchase a $1,000 furniture warranty, bringing the total to $5,500. The deal was contingent on us qualifying for the 0% financing, which required me to share my credit information. When I asked for an itemized breakdown, he left again, and returned with a tablet, all while repeating the typical sales jargon about how great a deal this was and how happy we would be. He sounded like the kind of salesman you see in movies like The Wolf of Wall Street. I quietly texted and told my wife we were not taking the deal, and we politely thanked him and walked out. We left feeling relieved and confident in our decision to walk away from the high-pressure situation. On our drive home, we talked about how much we loved the bedroom set but knew we couldn't justify the price. It was then that I thought to check the Exchange Online website, something I should have done from the start. And there it was. The exact same "Signature Design by Ashley Foyland Panel Storage 5-piece bedroom set." Before any sale, it was listed for roughly $4,700 with the extra nightstand, which already included free shipping and no sales tax. This price that was nearly $3,300 cheaper than Ashley's initial quote and $800 cheaper than their supposed "deal." The true savings came with the Exchange's ongoing Labor Day sale. With an additional 20% off and an extra 10% discount for using my Military Star Card, we ended up paying a total of just $3,608. This price included everything we wanted: the full bedroom set, the extra nightstand, and even two lamps (Signature Design by Ashley Sharolyn 30 in. Table Lamps) we had liked in the store. We got two years of 0% interest, no sales tax, free shipping, and best of all, there was no mandatory $1,000 warranty. This experience taught us a valuable lesson. What might seem like a once-in-a-lifetime "deal" is often a carefully constructed sales tactic designed to make you feel like you're getting something special. For all shoppers, it is crucial to do your research and price-compare online before making any major purchase. ****For my fellow Active-Duty military and veterans, the advice is even more specific: shop the Exchange Online. They offer significant discounts and perks that a salesperson cannot match, and they do it without the pressure and deceptive practices. A quick search can save you thousands of dollars and spare you a bad experience.****
