The spa is small but they do many services here. Today I had eyelash extensions put on. Helen the person performing the task did a fabulous job. I was very happy with the results. I got the right color and length I wanted it. I liked that she knew what she was doing. The spa is located in a corner. Across from the post office, same street, Polk St., It has a public garage within walking distance from the spa. It's that big, colorful, public garage on Hollywood Blvd. You can't miss it. Called this place to see if they had brow lamination on 8/14 because I saw that on Groupon they has specials for lash lifts. They did not, on 8/14 have a Groupon for brow lamination. I really wanted to get my eyebrows done, called a few places, and this was the only place that had a spot available early in the morning, as I had to work in the afternoon. I arrive at the spa, it was small but cute and clean. I am was greeted by the person who did my eyebrows (forgot her name a blonde woman). She asked if this was my fist time getting this service and I said yes. Long story short, she laminated them, yes, but that was it. Did not offer to tint or shape the brows. She basically left them as is. I then asked her about after care and all she said was to stay away from water for 24 hours. THEN I asked her if it would be ok to immediately fill them in with my usual brow makeup and her response was, "sure sure not a problem." THANK GOD I started doing my research on care after lamination and about how you're not only supposed to stay away from water for 24 hours, but should also avoid makeup, as well as constantly brush them with the spoolie they are supposed to provide you with. She provided me with none of that. So, I ended up paying $65 for this service, plus a 15% tip that was extremely hard for me to part with because I did not believe that she deserved it. Her work was subpar at best. Now today, 8/15 I go on Groupon and see that she's offering lamination services for $44!!!! I was in shock. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be retuning to this place, I see people saying she's good with the whole lash thing and that may be her thing, but she should definitely stay away from people's brows. Next time, I will definitely pay the $100 or $150 to have a proper job done. read more

I ended up getting my brows threaded as well. Ive been going to the same place for a year & a half for my brows since I have a scar & way too many people have messed them up... so I was a little worried at first but Mali did an AMAZING job. So I made a noon appointment over the phone to do microblading with Mali on May 6th along with a friend of mine who was getting a touch up (who found her on Groupon and used a Groupon when she went). We show up at 11:30 and Mali hasn't shown up to work yet. We wait till 12:30 and still no Mali. So we go to lunch. We come back and the owner says Mali is a no call, no show. We reschedule for today May 14th. We call yesterday to make sure she's gonna be there, and when we show up today, she starts my friends touch up late. They numb me and then once it's my turn to get it done, she informs me that she (personally) isn't accepting Groupons anymore and they want me to return it and pay them in cash. The Groupon was $180, which they told my friend, if she referred people they could pay the Groupon price, so I offered to pay $50 additional cash and they still said no. So now after coming here on multiple occasions, I have no microblading and a Groupon I can't use. They were basically upset with me for buying a Groupon even though they put their business on Groupon in the first place. On a side note, they offered a different (newer) technician to come in and do it, but as you know with microblading you want it done by someone who's work you've been following for months. I wouldn't recommend going here or their shady business practice. read more

My awful experience started when I called to book my appointment. I let them know that I had a groupon and they told me that because I was not a "full-paying" customer I couldn't be seen right away. Then I reluctantly went to the salon after my friend had all of her eyelashes fall out within the first day. When I first got there the eyelash tech was talking on the phone about how one of her customers no-showed again, this is all while she was doing someone's eyelashes. When it was my turn I showed a picture of how I wanted my lashes from a previous full set I had received elsewhere. they told me because I purchased the groupon that I would only get a "natural set" which is 25 lashes per eye. The groupon states "full set of mink lashes" with a picture of something that is beyond a full set! There was no fine print there was nothing to say that it would be anything otherwise. Mali overheard my conversation and started to tell me that if I wanted that then I can pay for an upgrade. She said if I wanted it like I had in my picture I would have to pay $30 more on top of the $93 I already paid. Absolutely not. She said that they just use Groupon to get people in the door but there are different rules with groupon and this was theirs. (None of which were stated in the Groupon) The tech admitted that someone supposedly changed the Groupon and sorry she wasn't aware. It would have been totally fine if they just honored what the groupon said. she tried to convince me to get the natural lashes which she now said is not only 25 lashes per eye. At this point, they treated me like a second class citizen because I purchased a Groupon! If they don't want people to buy them then pull your groupon! She continued to tell me that I'm stubborn and then told me to go to amazing lash where they would glue my lashes together. This was the WORST service I have ever experienced in my life. I have been getting lashes for years and I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. On top of it, she did all of this in front of another customer through a curtain and not even to my face. Poor business practices, awful customer service and complete false advertising. read more

I got a lash lift here a month and two days ago and have been very disappointed. The curl was much less drastic than usual (friends that knew I was getting a lift had to ask if I'd gotten one afterward; I still felt the need to curl my lashes daily). I waited a while to see if it would last the 9+ weeks they advertised (4-8 is typical), but after 4 weeks my lashes are back to normal. I would not recommend this salon for a lift, even at the reduced prices. read more
