It had a nice solid brothe to it, just missing a slight kick that a tonkatsu ramen generally has but still hella good! The noodles were slightly firm and it accompanied the brothe well. I had a WHOLE egg to myself and it was slightly runny which you know a damn fact makes a ramen more wholesome! The other bits of toppings were good as well. My friend order their Miso ramen which I gave a try and I'll say fora fact that it was lacking a bit in what a Miso ramen stands for. They were TOO generous with the bean sprouts which ruined the whole ramen experience for my friend All in all, I had a solid experience here but can't say the same for my buddy. Tantanmen had sesame oil flavors and the shoyu broth was very light but a bit bland for me so I added the extra sauces they had on the table. The noodles are made fresh in restaurant and they have a clear glass so you can see it being made if you're lucky. It was pretty cool watching one of the workers make it. The noodles definitely tasted great and was authentic. This ramen place is a bit on the pricier side and my friend said the prices were noticable raised but she loves this place so much, it didn't bother her. There are public bathrooms downstairs that they keep taken care of. As soon as you sit, they have clear separating glasses between tables which feels very sanitary, I love it. The ramen served is very aesthetic. I love the way they write their slogan on the nori. My favorite part is that they give you a bib to wear which was easy to put on. Both my friend and I definitely needed it because we both had soup spills on our bibs haha service was nice and they have wifi as well. This place seems to get packed very easily!

It's a pretty small restaurant with limited seating, so they make sure to really utilize the tables. The waitress pointed to the table for us and my husband thought she was kidding because there was very little space at the table that already had three guys on it. We got cozy with them, which was fine because actually, it's all about the ramen, ammiright?! First we ordered the vegetarian gyoza to share. They were totally delicious with a nice crispy outside and soft juicy delish inside. Then I had the vegetarian miso and my husband ordered the vegetarian tantanmen. By far the tantanmen was the winner! The broth was absolutely fantastic (and quite spicy) and full of flavor!!! Definitely getting that one next time! The miso was alright, but nothing special. Did I mention that they served Soba noodles? The broth had a lot to be longed for, but at least the noodles were al dente and bouncy. It's a very modernized spot, that sits directly across from the train station/bahnhof. (Odd tidbit: It was actually hear that we determined that the preferred language was German). The decor inside is simple and gives open viewing to the kitchen that sits next to the cashiers (it almost looks like it can be a Ramen-Chipotle). Like the rest of Switzerland, it's a bit pricey, but definitely satisfied our ramen fix (we've been back in Europe for 3 months at this point, and had not had any good noodle dishes lately).

My buddy and I had the donburi meals, complete with a side of tempura and miso soup. The only caveat to a similar meal back home is that I paired it with a glass of prosecco, but my dining partner did go the traditional route with hot green tea. The restaurant was pretty quiet to the point where I felt I had to whisper when talking, but it could have been because we were early to dinner and the place wasn't filled with customers yet.
