And he'd promised to bring and install a special screen protector but said he "didn't know " I needed one when we specifically talked about it when making the appointment. He said he'd come back the next day to put that on but was never heard from again. The receipt was not itemized so I don't know exactly what I paid for and if I paid for the screen protector that he promised but did not provide. After that, he would not respond to my calls, voicemails and texts. He got his money, I guess that's all he cares about. Use at your own risk. UPDATE: I've just noticed that the crack in my screen is still there, just less obvious. Dude took $200+ to do essentially nothing. Maybe I should have followed him out to his raggedy car to make sure he actually did the work. I cannot believe this. Maybe there is no way the phone could have been repaired but I expected better customer service and explanation from the owner. I will try a different place when I have a problem with my electronics in the future.
