The food was delicious here. I couldn't pick what I wanted to eat so I got three courses. First course was Jewish-Roman style artichoke. The was the best artichoke I've had in Rome. It was deep fried and the leaves were perfectly crunchy, seasoned, with a soft heart. Seriously- try it if you can. For my second course I ordered spaghetti carbonara. Noodles are homemade, and cooked to perfect al dente. The guancialle was perfect, not to much, not to little. For my last course I ordered the oxtail. It was super tender and the sauce was amazingly hearty, and tasty. These dishes were fantastic. My server was kind and made me laugh quite a bit. The ambiance is old Italian kitchen - like grandmas house. You can dress casually and feel comfortable here.
Definitely try this restaurant. read more
