RUN AWAY! Don't even think about going near this tourist trap of a restaurant. It was disgusting!…read moreStarting from the sticky gross menu. The pizza was soggy, the aperol spritz was too bitter and the rest of the food was without taste. Please save yourself from this disappointment.

A friend pointed out this restaurant right alongside the shopping path and we decided to take a seat. Enticed by their set menus (we decided to go with their 3 item menu ironically named the "Tourist Menu"), we spent about 20 euros each for average food. The cannelloni was probably the best out of the 3 items because it was simple and basic pasta with sauce, but it didn't really wow anyone in terms of flavor. The 2nd item was the fried meat with fries. I got veal while my friends got the fish which they described as soft and too much breading. My veal was okay, but still not a super spectacular item. Lastly was the dessert which was a lemon tart. Apparently this was premade as my group saw it being taken out of a box while using the restroom. Service was okay and they were patient with my group, but the meal took over an hour and a half which really ate into our limited time we had in the city. They weren't super busy and there were multiple servers, but it still took a long time between dishes to get them take away and ask for the bill at the end. The location is decent since it's right next to some cute shops and has tarp covering, but not really worth it because of the food/service itself. Would probably have chosen someplace else if I saw the reviews in advance.

Food was lovely and servers were also really nice. The breadsticks on the table were so so so good. My sister actually took some extra home haha. They had a salt + garlic flavor as well as a plain breadstick. Honestly both were really good. Fresh bread we brought to the table was also nice. Eggplant Parmesan was amazing!! I really love the flavor here and everything in the dish overall. Tried it at another restaurant the previous night for dinner but this was so so so much better! Fried calamari and shrimp had good portion size. I love the actual big heads of the calamari (the rings were a bit too oily and didn't seem to have substantial flesh, but the actual heads were nice!). Got the Pizza with the tomato, mushroom, sausage and hot pepper; Viva really hoping it would be spicy because of that hot pepper but it wasn't really spicy. Quite a fresh and hot pizza though. We saw the steam coming off when it came to the table. Definitely a good sign. Everyone loved that pizza!! Ravioli Caprese was also decent. I'm not too much a fan of tomato sauce so I preferred it without the sauce itself, but everyone seem to like it. Veal Escalope aka Scallopini (game with like a lemon white sauce) was simple but a good source of protein. Not a fatty cut of meat - more like lean protein and one of the cleaner items on the menu which I appreciated. Torta Caprese was the highlight for dessert. Rich and chocolatey and the crunch from the nuts was amazing. It was a little too crumbly though so we couldn't get proper spoonfuls on the fork. Also got the Tiramisu but it wasn't as good. There was some alcohol in there and it was a bit too strong.

We got the fried mozzerralla which was American mozzeralla sticks * 10 in flavor. The eggplant Parmesan, frutti de mare, and the octopus were all fantastic. We ended up eating at the restaurant three times. Once just for desert so we can relax and oversee Amalfi from their beautiful terrace. A big "Thank You" to Pasquale, Giovanni and their staff. They were very helpful, very nice and they actually smiled back and were willing to share local insight. They have some high end wines here that were above my spend limit so Giovanni was very helpful in recommending a nice $40-50 bottle that hit the spot. I figured a bottle of wine was better than the mixed cocktails that would add up to that amount. I was about to order a Ravello wine but was encouraged to try a wine with the LeFringe grapes or something, anyways it was good. It is hard to find nice characteristics and good personality in Ravello as many locals dislike tourists. But not at this establishment. Thank You Pasquale!

I had the stuffed chicken and my husband had a pasta dish, and we both agree it was one of the best meals we've EVER had! Thank you to the chef who truly knows how to cook! Of course the view is AMAZING, like a dream! The staff in the dining room are OUTSTANDING! We have never had such WONDERFUL service. Our servers and the host were absolutely GRACIOUS. This was the most memorable lunch of our lives so far. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant! Thank you to Hotel Rufolo and Sigilgaida Restaurant for making our day and our trip memorable. In the 2 hours we were there we only received a cold appetizer. At that point we decided to leave and get the food to go. The food was mediocre at best. Even more disappointing was seeing that everyone else had been served their food except for us. I don't know why... We didn't order anything different than what other had ordered. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

The atmosphere was interesting if you're into cave/industrial like design. PANART is definitely a nice place to go, but the night time makes Panart look nicer because it covers up a lot of the markings on the wall. It is a whole pallazzo that's been turned into a restaurant. The waitress was super friendly and what was interesting is that they treat you like a local. We went there and wanted to pay with our credit card, but their machine wasn't working. So they said just come back when you have the money. We had the cash, but that was unexpected and nice. I would go back there. The menu for Sunday was either fish or meat. We had meat and it was A LOT of food!

There were empty tables downstairs and the restroom was also downstairs. The menu was only in Italian but we were able to figure out what we wanted. The ladies ordered tenderloin, one medium and one medium rare. When it came out, the meat was a little undercooked and not as warm in the plate. We asked our waiter if they could be taken back to cook a little longer and he was able to get that done. The meat for the 4 of us was delicious, warm, and well seasoned. A basket of crusty bread was taken to our table. I asked twice for butter and had to wait awhile for it but it was worth the wait. The restaurant was decorated with a modern flair. We are not wine drinkers but there is a good assortment of wines there. In America, we are used to good service from waitstaff at higher end restaurants like this. In Italy, it's different. Tipping is usually not done unless the diner feels well taken care of. Although we had to wait for a few items, the meat was worth the visit. Surprised that my review is the only one in the last few years. Not many know of this place unless they use Yelp.
