I will say the tourist menu consisted of three courses. I had the lasagna Neapolitana , the filet of sole, and a dessert. The lasagna and the filet of sole were excellent. The cake was decent. The fish was fresh and moist, dipped in an egg batter. The lasagna was super tasty. My food was 4stars. I was with my brother and he was not as fortunate with his dried out veal Milanese, with salad. Now the staff was supposed to be of service with a smile. None was observed. Our server was very pushy and almost rude. His buddy also sucked. If you get to Sorrento, you can omit this place if you're unsure, though my meal was excellent. read more

RUN AWAY! Don't even think about going near this tourist trap of a restaurant. It was disgusting! Starting from the sticky gross menu. The pizza was soggy, the aperol spritz was too bitter and the rest of the food was without taste. Please save yourself from this disappointment. read more

Unfortunately for my group this was a low point of all the meals we ate in Italy. We were doing a day trip to Sorrento and needed a bite to eat. A friend pointed out this restaurant right alongside the shopping path and we decided to take a seat. Enticed by their set menus (we decided to go with their 3 item menu ironically named the "Tourist Menu"), we spent about 20 euros each for average food. The cannelloni was probably the best out of the 3 items because it was simple and basic pasta with sauce, but it didn't really wow anyone in terms of flavor. The 2nd item was the fried meat with fries. I got veal while my friends got the fish which they described as soft and too much breading. My veal was okay, but still not a super spectacular item. Lastly was the dessert which was a lemon tart. Apparently this was premade as my group saw it being taken out of a box while using the restroom. Service was okay and they were patient with my group, but the meal took over an hour and a half which really ate into our limited time we had in the city. They weren't super busy and there were multiple servers, but it still took a long time between dishes to get them take away and ask for the bill at the end. The location is decent since it's right next to some cute shops and has tarp covering, but not really worth it because of the food/service itself. Unfortunately this is an easy review to write. I would never return. We wandered the streets and let our stomachs dictate where we should go to eat, and they pointed here. We dined al fresco and received menus. They have a large food and an even larger dessert menu. I was busy trying to log on to WiFi and I guess wasn't fast enough because our waiter asked us three times in about 6 or 7 minutes if we were ready. I HATE to be rushed. I guessed they were looking for a fast churn. I ordered the veal Milanese and a salad. In about 5 minutes both my salad and entrée came at the same time. Having them come at the same time I'm ok with but now I'm thinking for sure they want us in and out quickly. The veal was hot but dried out. I figure it came out so fast it must have been precooked. The salad wasn't too bad. The bread was at least a day old and not even heated up to mask that fact. I know that Americans are always in a rush or so it seems, but we sat there nearly 25 minutes before the check came. Keep walking if you see this place. P read more

It was a drizzly weekend and all I wanted was a simple spaghetti with tomato sauce for lunch. This was surprisingly difficult to find in the touristy alleyways of Sorrento, especially during their riposo hours. My boo and I found this place fitting due to the price, and the value we got wasn't disappointing at all. For 13€ we split a nice spaghetti with tomato sauce that came with fresh basil on top and house white wine for an additional 2€. This lunch meal also included a small salad and bread on the side. A waiter came by shortly after we got the dish to offer grated parmesan. The service was efficient and food just what I was looking for. Since they didn't offer tap water, we got a bottle of still and they let us take the rest of our portion home by pouring the remainder into a plastic bottle to go. Top notch experience for a simple lunch! It's not fine dining but I loved what I got out of it. read more

Tried this place out the other night and unfortunately it was the most disappointing place we ate in Sorrento.. The chicken my friend had was dry and bland in seasoning and my Risotto ai funghi was extremely lack lustre and cold. The rice was not cooked through, there was no flavour to it and although I am not a salt person, this dish needed salt too.. It's not the worst risotto I've had, but I can definitely find better tasting ones in Canada for a less than 15eur.. read more

The restaurant was busy so we thought we would give it a try. The prices are average for the area and the food looked ok. My friend ordered the fish special, she was not happy with it at all. I ordered the beef plate with potatoes and spinach. All three items were bland and not very good. They do have gluten free options so if you want to try you can but realize the staff do not care. Case in point when I asked to resolve an issue with the order the owner would not accommodate the request and literally walked away after refusing to help. I can't recommend coming here because there are so many other place to spend money and enjoy in this area. It would be ok if either the food or the staff were great but neither. Worst food we had during our time in Italy. The cacio e Pepe literally tasted like it had canned Alfredo sauce on it, and seafood pasta somehow managed to taste bland. The cheap wine was the only redeeming factor here, and the fact that no one got food poisoning is why I'd give 'em two stars instead of just one. read more

Best pizza I have had on my trip! My husband and I went there for lunch and decided to go again for a dinner with friends. The lunch experience was much better, less crowded and the staff more attentive. At night we ordered a bottle of wine but the wrong one was brought to us. We also ordered a risotto which was good not exceptional and two couples ordered bruschetta and it looked like two totally different sizes when they brought it out. The staff was very friendly both times but food during lunch was better probably because it was less chaotic for the kitchen at that time. read more

I'd never seen an outdoor table set up for fine dining, so we stopped and looked at the menu. The prices were reasonable. We sat down. The service was immediate, and the pizzas came out quickly. Now, remember--I'm an impatient American (I try to remind myself of this fact when traveling in Europe so as not to turn into an Ugly American) and the food came out quickly. Great place. Food was good and service was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly, including Tony the owner who greeted us outside. I had the spaghetti bolognese which was good. My wife had the fresh seafood of the day which was the sea bream. That was excellent. One of our kids had the spaghetti carbonara which he said was good.
