Colleen understood my vision and gave me the most beautiful sun kissed highlights, after about 2+ hours of work. I came back about 6 weeks later to get a glaze (the color became brassy), and now it's a more subtle caramel tone. I have been a loyal customer for a year until this week when I met David for the first time. I was late for 10 minutes with a pre-notice so I said "okay" to every compromise I had to make, when the front desk (who was rude too) told me that I would have to accommodate a junior stylist and will not get a blowout. As a single working mother of a toddler kid, I did not mind at all, because it was the only 30 minutes I could squeeze out to get my haircut that I have longed for 6 months. Then came with David who kept brushing my hair with a thin comb so hard and so close to my ears as if he was going to cut my ears off. I walked out of the place charged with $90 with wet hair, because he dried my hair for 2 minutes but no junior stylist ever showed up to take over to further dry up my hair (I was not expecting a blow out at all, since I agreed to the arrangement, but at least walk out with dry hair lol!). My friend who picked me up was a witness for how red my ears were, because David kept brushing my hair and scalp so hard that I almost cried. I also heard from other patrons that they were offered tea/coffee whenever they went, but I was only offered the first time. The last time when I finished my haircut and waited in the waiting area for 20 minutes for uber, I recalled that the front desk lady was gossiping with a customer loudly to complain about another customer for the entire time (totally unprofessional) so do not share any personal details with anyone working there!

What I really liked about Cindy is that she was able to not only fix my hair, she listened to what I wanted done with my hair. She's meticulous and did a very great job with my haircut. The cost of my haircut wasn't much compared to other places ($40 and of course I brought extra for tip). They take cash or card. This hair salon is very cute and it reminds me a bit of Manhattan. It's very clean and the staff is very friendly. I've made a membership here and I'll be going there every month to get my hair done.
