The staff was always so pleasant even during their busy times. On the morning we were leaving to come home, my husband went down to the bar and brought me back a Maritozzo and a Chocolate Cornetto for himself, which he said was loaded with chocolate and delicious. Oh my, I was in heaven. The Maritozzo was huge, loaded with whipped cream, and just divine. Thank you for giving me a lasting memory of Rome.

However, as we stopped to look at the daily specials menu placed outside, a local customer who was exiting the shop told us it was the best restaurant in the area! We decided to give the place a try. The restaurant had a very homey, cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is family run, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we were inside, we wanted to see the daily specials again, and the owner was so kind as to move the entire outside sign inside so we could see it! The waitress kindly explained the menu and explained what pastas Rome was known for. We ended up ordering the cacio e pepe, all'amatriciana, a lasagna, zucchini stuffed with a meatball-like thing, and a salad. The food was incredibly tasty and delicious. We especially enjoyed all'amatriciana, which was refreshing and had a nice kick to it. The lasagna was also great-the noodles were perfectly cooked and the dish was overall super yummy. They also kept refilling the bread basket whenever we finished-so much free bread! Their service and food was absolutely top-notch. The other thing that we ordered was their cappuccino. We ordered 7 cups as a group because it was SO GOOD. I am not a coffee connoisseur, but it was probably the best coffee I had during my trip. Highly recommend checking this place out!
