My husband and I had the most delightful lunch here today! Charming restaurant, so clean, the food was delicious, and the service from the older gentleman was suberb! Location was spot on, best street in Trastevere!!

We stumbled upon this place and are so glad we did! When I pictured dinner in Rome this was it. Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and great service!

Very nice people, very accommodating. The truffle ravioli I had here it was quite possibly the best thing I had in Italy. Absolutely delicious! Everything we had here was good. I will definitely be back for the ravioli again.

    Beef steak. 18€

The service here was very quick and friendly. We ordered the beef steak and grilled lamb. The food was prepared quite quickly and very delicious. They didn't ask how the steak should be done. When the steak arrived, it was a bit on the thinner side (although for 18€ what did you expect) and was mostly well-done but some parts were a bit bloody. This was easily solved by putting it into the sizzling platter the food came out on. At the end, the bill was quick to come and there was no problems despite the tip saying they took the money. Overall good service and taste for price.

    House wine.

This place was wall-to-wall people on Saturday night. Friendly (for Italian standards) waiter although he was very busy. The best lasagna we have eaten in the 18 days we have visited Italy. The bruschetta was fresh (the mixed bruschetta came with olive patte, two slice with tomatoes and 2 with artichoke cream). The house wine wasn't too sweet and only 5 Euro for half a bottle. The beef steak is a thinner cut and while flavorful was a little chewy.

This is the best food we had in our 14 day trip in Italy. The meat and vodka sauce are delicious and the bread is soft.

I asked Simon to surprise me with my order and he brought me the best steak I've had in Rome and a napkin bib lol.

Everyone needs a trip to Italy, if nothing more than to enjoy all of the food…read more When you've landed, you're hungry, and it's not lunch time, and it's not dinner time, you may end up, selling for whatever you can find is open We were absolutely starving, and wanting to indulge in our first Italian meal, what do you do when you're in Italy?! You may want to indulge in pasta or pizza! We walked in, and we were immediately seated. Air conditioning is nonexistent, and on a hot summer day, it would've been cooler to dine outside. had that been an option, and it was 95° out. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately told that Pizza and some of their baked Italian dishes were not going to be available. Boo. The wait staff seemed fairly nice, and offered to bring us glasses of water. The glasses were super tiny, and thankfully the waitress brought over a carafe of water. We asked for a few suggestions, since both of us had been craving pizza, and she suggested the Carbonara. She said it was one of the best dishes. While we were waiting for our food, several other tables were immediately filled up with other customers, families and friends alike. It was interesting that those tables were served pizza... I'll just leave it at that. The carbonara Was anything less than delicious. We both found the pasta to be barely cooked. Not al dente, but barely cooked. The seasoning was mediocre, and there was very little pork, which is supposed to be the highlight of this dish, in this dish. Diners tip: if you are not a local, keep in mind that your version of Customer Service may or may not fit what Customer Service is in Rome. Despite being hungry, I had a hard time, finishing the food, let alone actually eating it. The waitress only came over at the end to drop off the check, and when she noticed that I had barely eaten anything, first gave me a strange look, and then asked about it. It was definitely one of those situations where saying something was wrong would've been met with unwanted attention. This is in a place to add to your must try list... There are plenty of other places, even in and around this area that more than likely would be a better choice.

Bufala pizza with red sauce and lasagna was excellent. Seating was fast and good serviceread more
