    This was close to my hotel so I wanted to try it out because it was raining and I didn't want to walk too far. The place was packed with locals and I waited about 20 minutes to be seated. It was weird that another guy came in that also spoke English about 10 minutes after me and they rejected him even though they closed 3 hours later. No paper menus only QR so I saw the people seated next to me with the arancino so I ordered one of those and a Margherita Tradizionale. The arancino was huge and pretty good. The Margherita Tradizionale was very good as this was my first pizza in Italy. Can't compare to any other pizzas as of yet. Service was good, attentive and friendly. ***

    In my opinion, THE BEST PIZZA IN ROME - it in and absorb the atmosphere or order to your door using the usual apps. Arancini are amazing - simple pizzas using fresh ingredients and executed to perfection - for me it wouldn't be a trip to Rome without dining here!     Food was excellent. Fried pizza was like a scone calzone (pictured). And the non-fried tradizionale was sooo good. Service left much to be desired, though. They served several others before us who got here after us, took forever to come get our orders, then again to give us the check. We had to ask more than once.

    I had the fire pizza and my wife had one of the specials (her crust was stuffed with ricotta).

    Huge portions!!!! They have the usual pizzas, some specials, and several recipes that won the World Cup of Pizza for the last few years. My wife said this is the best pizza (especially the crust) that she has had in forever.

    Prosciutto, mushroom, hazelnut pizza.

    Great pizza, easy place to stop for lunch! Crust tasted homemade and fresh. We had the pizza with the mushrooms, prosciutto and hazelnuts, sounded like an odd combo, but it was quite tasty!

    Great pizza, the staff couldn't be friendlier, a very charming restaurant, I most wholeheartedly recommend it, great local ambiance

    Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

It reminded me of Jägermeister and I wasn't a fan. But I appreciated the hospitality and kindness of his gesture. In summary, we left content and with full bellies. Our server did a great job and the manager or owner acknowledged us and seemed to appreciate our business. All in all, this lunch was a positive experience.
