I have been seeing Dr. Bukhalo for many years for pain management. I have had multiple knee…read morereplacements and revisions, and have had better pain management once I began working with Dr. Bukhalo. Because of my limping, I tore my Achilles tendon. I went to a number of podiatrists for help. They all wanted to perform surgery which entailed a cadaver transfer and minimum of 6 weeks non-weightbearing. As an RN, that was an unreasonable expectation for me. Dr. Bukhalo suggested a PRP injection at the insertion point of the tendon. Admittedly, it was a temporarily painful procedure. However, it actually healed the problem and now I have Zero pain in my Achilles tendon! I would highly recommend Dr. Bukhalo and Jessica King, PA, to anyone needing pain management. It is never a problem getting an appointment, and the office staff always reaches out if an earlier appointment becomes available.

Dr. Bukhalo ranks up there as one of the worst doctors I've ever been to…read more Right out of the gate, the receptionist was more interested in snapping at me about the pronunciation of the doctor's last name than actually helping get me checked in. Once I was with the doctor, the experience wasn't much better. A few pokes at me with a wooden stick for nerve function, I guess... At one point, I crossed one leg over the other and winced in pain, saying, "this motion frequently causes me pain". The doctor shrugged and dismissively said, "some people just have pain". I was eventually told to take a mega-dose of ibuprofen daily (800mg x 3 !!!). When I commented that my stomach would not handle that, I was told to take it with omeprazole. When I then commented that I didn't want to be on that long-term due to its variety of risks (fractures), I was told, "you worry too much". I'm inclined to think that it's my (our?) job (responsibility?) to worry a bit, given that this doctor clearly does not. Needless to say, I never returned.

They understaffed…read more They overbooked They crashed the entire office schedule Only to land me with a 90 minute delay that was zero necessity This could have been a video call. Terrible throughput terrible efficiency. The only saving grace this office has is the doctor it's self!!! Doc is fast and efficient and was very apologetic after getting hung up in a long surgical case. This offices scheduling waiting and room assignment system are rubbish. But the doctors keep it certifiable. 4/5 barely (1/5 if we add in the waiting room deductions)

I have been going to MAPS for over 3 years now. I have chronic pain and I'm chronically ill. I see…read morethem every month and I am always taken care of without feeling like they care about recent changes in my health and tests that I've taken. If I have problems with insurance they resolve any issues for they know my history and I am monitored to make sure if any changes need to be made they look into it. The office staff are friendly. professional and will get you through to the right person if you call with a problem. It's terrible ti live with chronic illness and pain and many times you feel like you are a victim of insensitive pharmacies that can make things difficult and make you feel hopeless. MAPS is there to take your care seriously.

Not to mention racked up over $10,000 in medical bills and the needle was moving in the wrong direction. Fortunately I found Doctor Kozlowski, who listened to my concerns, performed the right functional tests, and offered high quality vitamins and supplements. Literally in about 4 months I went from feeling my worst ever to feeling 80% of my usual self again and am still improving everyday. If you want to pop some pills, take the easy road, and feel slightly better short term while risking your long term health, go to your current doctor. If you want to learn about a whole other side of medicine that can actually heal you instead of put a band-aid on your problems all while using food & natural supplements to make you feel your best ever, then Doctor Kozlowski is the guy for you.

I don't recall exactly anymore but she wasn't an MD but had some type of functional medicine training certificate. I spent a few hundred bucks with consultations, supplements, and a stool test that didn't lead anywhere or improve my condition. She was unsuccessful in identifying the root cause nor even knew about my condition. Dr. Koz was so busy I never even had the opportunity for a one on one to ask questions, etc. Overall it wasn't a good experience and I had to move on.
