I got no spine diagnoses from this doctor when I went to see him in 2021. He looked at my Mri but told me nothing.

Dr. Ronjon Paul is actually a spine specialist. He seemed very careful in analyzing my results and also clearly explained what is going on.

Ronjon Paul has left Duly Edwards. Does anyone know where he went? Edwards cancelled my surgery and will not give me any information.

He is now with Endeavor Health and his office is in Schaumburg. I don't know what hospitals he is affiliated with?

I went to Dr Mather years ago because I had 2 prior disc replacements for L4-L5 that didn't feel…read moreright. He did tests, and set me up for surgery. I had a third L4-L5 disc replacement, and then told me that he was leaving for 5 days with his family, and left a PA in charge. I told her every day for 5 days in the hospital that I had severe pain, different from prior surgeries, from my left hip to knee to the inside of my left lower leg. She rolled her eyes each time and told me to push the button (for pain meds.) When Dr Mather returned and saw I hadn't eaten or slept, and was in such severe pain, he did a CT scan and at the end of his day, at 10:30 pm, he took me back to surgery. After recovery, he said, "I removed a cherry pit sized piece of disc material that I inadvertently left behind." He said it could be 2-3 months before the very irritated L4 root nerve would calm down. He kept raising my dose of pain meds as I went to follow up appointments. After 4 months, he switched me to Oxycontin because he couldn't raise the Norco dose any higher due to too much acetaminophen. He said, "In some cases like yours, the root nerve never recovers, and I'm afraid that's what happened here." I became disabled for life, I lost my beloved nursing job, and could barely do anything that I previously loved to do. He referred me to a pain clinic. I went back periodically for Dr Mather to sign for a disabled car plaquard, and the last time, he yelled at me, "I will not sign this! I did no such thing! You are no longer my patient! SECURITY! Escort this person out of my office!!" Be very careful if anything goes wrong! The only reason I didn't bring suit is I lost my 22 year old son 2 months after surgery; 2 months before being told I was disabled for life. Otherwise, it would have been an easy win. People make mistakes, but when he kicked me out of his office, and denied it all happened, that made me sick. I continue to have complications now, years later. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would.

I came in for a moving injury on my shoulder a while back. He did an x-ray at his location and said that it didn't seem like there was a tear, maybe just less cushion between my joints. He decided to schedule MRI as "an abundance of caution". However, He didn't recommend a basic MRI, he recommended an arthrogram which in hind sight, seemed unnecessary. He recommended a local hospital as is preferred partner, and it was awful. The MRI cost me $700 and took about three hours versus a outpatient Quest Diagnostic type location that should've been 100 bucks and an hour. I never received the MRI results from the hospital. I recently received a bill from Dr. Mody's office for another $200 for my initial visit. I have yet to return to even go through the MRI results, partially because I don't have them (thanks Advent La Grange for wasting more time I don't have) and partially because this seems like a bill at all costs type practice. I refuse to go back if it's going to cost me $200 when any other specialist under our health plan is a $50 copay. Note- I gave them my insurance upfront so this shouldn't be a $200 + $600 MRI for a sore arm.

Back then I believe it was OAD Orthopaedic , so this was my first appointment since it has been under Northwestern. The first issue is how they treated me on the phone to make the appointment. Demanded insurance information upfront before they would make appointment which is was annoying since they have my previous records. Made the appointment anyways even though I did not care for their approach. The appointment took maybe 15-20mins to go through questions, a quick check on pain, reflexes and to write prescription for pain meds. Received a bill within a couple of weeks for over $400 for the visit, claiming a new patient rate. Then, in the same time frame, I started getting "courtesy" calls asking for payment. I informed them that I did not receive my insurance explanation of benefits yet and that typically, you have a least 30 days from receiving bill to make payment. I receive no fewer than 4 courtesy calls within 30 days of appointment. We have made payments on their online payment plan this appointment and a family members surgery. Even though we paid using their plan, they sent this bill to a collection agency within 60 days. This group is HORRIBLE. I would suggest DMG or somewhere else that is local.

Ehhhhhh...Form your own opinion from this: Pinched nerve=major pain so you go to the doctor…read moreexpecting results because it hasn't happened to you before. Your advised to do therapy & given drugs tht are NOTHING to this pain. You call to see if you can get stronger meds but no one is returning your call so your days draaaag because you're ALWAYS IN PAIN. No sleep, no comfort so you opt to get the MRI. Now you can find out whats really going on to get a resolution. There's only one problem...you're doctor went on a 2 week vacation and nobody's allowed to give you the results. So you wait in pain until he comes back BUT by the time he comes back, THERAPY has started to alleviate the pain. Now you don't need him anymore or the extreme needle in your neck treatment that they want you to have without showing you the results of the MRI. So now you just owe a little over a grand for a test that gave no results. This is a great place. Oh...and not to mention paying copays to come to the office to discuss the drugs you can't have to alleviate the pain..and no Im not a pill popper. Havnt popped a pill since the pain stopped. Thanks Northwestern...for what..I'm not sure. Oh...maybe the bills I guess.
