My joints had just shut down on me and doctors could not figure out what was going on. I uktimately got diagnosed with some catch-all autoimmune disease and was prescribed meds (harsh meds with sever implications) to "see how they work". Yea- no thanks. So I went back to Dr Nayak and was like ummm I got a problem. She rolled up her sleeves and got to work. Consulted with her colleagues to see if they could understand my labs and symptoms and then prescribed numerous supplements, diet changes, and other modals. She asked me to give her 3 months before trying the prescribed meds. I committed and was feeling better within 6 weeks. I can't thank her enough for helping me get through a difficult time. She prepared me for what recovery would look like and was spot on in each of her assumptions.
