I sent out for some quotes initially and everybody was responding with ridiculously high figures for a day-of coordinator (that's not to say they weren't all worth it--I'm sure they would be--but they just couldn't and wouldn't work with our budget). About 30 minutes after I emailed Earthling, Miranda had already emailed me back with their full listing of prices and what came with each. Their pricing was insanely budget friendly and the professionalism of a quick, informative response is a huge draw for me so we set up a meeting via Skype. Within minutes of our meeting beginning, I knew Miranda and her team would be a good fit. She was able and willing to add time because we needed some extra setup and was extremely upfront with us concerning how much time we would need and how to make things work. From then on out, she was a tremendous asset to our wedding. If I had any issues finding a vendor, she would find out our budget for the vendor and start checking her resources for someone who would meet what we wanted for how much we wanted. She made time in her schedule to meet with us whenever we came up to Dallas (because we live in Houston), even going out of her way to do so. She met with our venue director and was there for every step of the way with us. She was such a calming and helpful influence. I thought it would be less packed going during the week but it was still very busy. I wanted to come right at 11 when they opened but arrived after 12:45. Some stuff I felt was a good price while other items were too expensive. I actually found some of the same items at Hobby Lobby near me for cheaper and some things with more quantity in a pack. It's a lesson learned because I did mention this early to my daughter but she couldn't decide and ended up wanting a mum. I would still come if I can't locate specifics. I definitely recommend if you are coming for mums whether pre made or starting from scratch to do things early on and price items/mums at different places first for the best deals. I drove from Wylie so that's why the price for the amount of stuff I bought seemed over priced. Also at check out, be prepared for a long line. It did move fairly decent so keep this in mind if you think it's an in and out type of thing but maybe it was just the time I went. When I was at the register the female working was being assisted by an older gentleman. Not sure if she was not having a good day but I literally witnessed him telling her that he didn't know if she just didn't want to work. He also noticed she was messing with a stapler and he told her something about that with an attitude and continued helping check me out. Although she did seem like she didn't want to be there. So he was calling out prices to her of my items and honestly I don't know if that combination was accurate. It doesn't help customers that the receipt doesn't show items listed w/the description, it only shows prices. I'm ok with no returns policy but not ok if the prices didn't match up with the items I had with me because of how the two were handling things.
