Ilkb bayshore is great! All of the instructors are friendly, motivating and bring their own spicy flavor of workout to the kickboxing mix. I have yet to do 2 workouts that were the same. The cardio and strength building combo has helped me gain a significant amount of muscle and lose some weight in the few months since I have joined. If traditional gyms arent your thing, or you just need a good punching bag to relieve some stress, I highly suggest trying ilkb bayshore out. read more

Hi Taylor- your gym was still open before Governor Cuomo gave the okay. I know a member personally who goes and checked into your gym on facebook in July and when someone asked if she has to wear a mask she replied "no it's optional". Upon seeing this I called ILKB myself and the girl who answered said mask not required and i asked how they're the only gym in NY not required to have people wear masks and she told me she doesn't ask questions she just follows the rules. Wish I got her name...do you guys wear masks now? It'd be a shame you're the reason Cuomo shuts down gyms again. read more

This place does not care on how to show you the correct way to workout. They do not care if you get an injury. The social distancing is a joke. They make promises but do not deliver. No one is trained correctly on how to punch or kick. Many people have gotten injuries. The before and after pictures they show are really old and outdated. One of their trainers Adam, was great. He took the time to show you how to do the kicks and punches correctly. Or modified the workout if you had a physical issue. They just drill in your head to post on Instagram and Facebook to get more people there. The guy who runs it is lazy. He eats junk food and talks more than trains a class. Don't waste your money. Better off going to a boot camp or another type of kick boxing place. read more

I joined I love Kickboxing a little over a year or go now and it's the greatest thing I could of ever done for myself. I'm so much more confident in myself and I'm so much more energetic! I went to a regular gym for years and I did not see results through my workouts like I did with ILKB. The instructions here challenge you to be your best in every class; and if you can't do a certain workout they don't push you they help you modify it that way you can get better at it. This was a really great gym to join. If you go faithfully, you will absolutely see results. It was definitely worth the groupon that they provided at the time. They do have fun events that you can participate as well. Their hours are great, both morning and evening times for classes. The only downfall was not having showers. I couldn't go before work for that reason. Other than that, the instructors are walking around and actually helps you get through workouts correcting your form and motivating you as well. read more

-100 stars. The owner is a scammer and a f*t, u**y mama bicho. They kept charging me when I had long since canceled my membership like other reviews have stated. When I canceled with them via text, I was promised that I would receive a confirmation email. I never got one. I called and texted them multiple times asking for a confirmation email. I was ignored every single time. And when I emailed the owner about it, he only responded to me once and then never responded to me again. He just ignored my emails. AND when I made my first dispute with my bank, he charged my card AGAIN when I was given a credit by my bank. I had to change my debit card and put in another dispute. He must be broke and hard pressed for money. Well, unfortunately for him, and luckily for me, both disputes were settled in my favor, and I got my money back. I joined I Love Kickboxing almost two years ago, and it's amazing. I was intimidated by gyms, so the one hour classes work for me. I started off in April 2017 buying a class package to see if I'd like it and stick with it. I did and I upgraded to unlimited classes in August 2017- one year before my wedding. The staff makes all the difference. I originally had my membership at Massapequa, and the two branches made a deal so members can workout at both locations! More classes- yay! As a teacher the Bayshore time schedule works well for me- they have 5:45am classes twice a week and 3:45pm classes three times a week. I moved my membership to the Bayshore location, even though it's farther from my home, because their classes are always changing and challenging me. The instructors know my name, help my reach my goals, and are always encouraging me. I never thought I'd take more than two classes a week (if that) and I now take 3-6! I stopped pushing myself so hard after my wedding, and wasn't sure if I was going to continue it. I'm so glad I switched to Bayshore because it revived my love for ILKB. If you're looking to change your life, and want an hour to yourself to do something for yourself, join! read more

Started about two weeks ago, so far I love it! All in instructors are amazing the classes are always different. Every time I go I always get a amazing workout. I've been going to the gym consistently for a long time and the change in my routine is what I needed. I already see results in my strength and stamina. I love this place. I did groupon to try it out and and on the first day I actually signed up. I love how the classes are. They do a warmup first , stretch, kickboxing them stretch again. Even though it's just an hour it feels shorter than an hour. The people are so great there and won't hesitate if you need any help to show you the moves. I'm OBSESSED with iLovekickboxing. The classes are amazing. Every single session is a different workout. I've been going for over a month and have yet to come across the same workout. Yet, every single class I'm dripping sweat. (It's actually pretty gross and mildly embarrassing but that's EXACTLY what I'm going for!) The classes are fun, high-energy, and the perfect full body workout you need to lose weight and tone. I've been coming to classes for just about a month, averaging 3 times per week and I already feel a world of a difference. I feel so much stronger and I can visibly see myself toning up. In 30 days! I have worked out with personal trainers, done crossfit, and gone to gyms on my own in the past but there is nothing like this. Yes, you might lose weight or tone up depending on what you're doing, but the camaraderie, encouragement, and team support with iLoveKickboxing is just incomparable. The instructors are AMAZING. They're not only intelligent and knowledgeable to kickboxing as a sport, but they're friendly, motivating, and inspiring. STAY. AWAY!!!!!!! Let me start off with the only reason there are good reviews anywhere are because they give out prizes for writing positive reviews.. this business is so disorganized, unprofessional and horribly run. They hire instructors who have absolutely no fitness background. If it snows even a little they close for days.. They follow the school schedule so it is closed Sundays and any Holidays (after Christmas, after Thanksgiving New Years etc.) just because their kids are home. It is located right next to a COURT MANDATED drug facility so be careful in the parking lot- there are criminals that break into your cars and steal your things- the best part about that is that management is well aware this goes on and neglects to tell any of the members..they have "security cameras" but they obviously don't deter the criminals lurking in the parking lot. Classes never start on time and when you sign up they tell you there is no cancellation fee but then all of a sudden its a $250 fee they just added because they are "upset" people are cancelling(which is exactly what I have heard them say) - when I tried to call and speak to them about it I had to jump through hoops to try and get someone on the phone. I was constantly told that the owner would call me back but that never happened and all I got was a message on Facebook (completely unprofessional) and I had to call almost every day for a week (still got no one on the phone). If you don't go to class for a few weeks they take your picture and put it on a milk carton and post it on Facebook (embarrassing and unprofessional) There are SO MANY other locations to work out and stay motivated.. this is not it !!! read more
