These results are not something that I saw when I was going to the gym and working with a personal trainer. I knew it was going to be a great experience the minute my husband and I walked through the door. We were greeted by Tasha who was super friendly and went over everything with us. We were so excited that we signed up to be members before taking a class. The facility is bright and clean and it's not uncommon to see one of them vacuuming or wiping down the mat and bags in between classes (note: this was being done pre-coronavirus). These classes not only help you get in shape but they help relieve stress. There have been many nights where I took some aggression out on a bag after a long, frustrating day at work. I always look forward to attending class because of how good I feel after. Fellow members are all friendly and inviting. There is no judgment here like you may experience at a normal gym. All the instructors are wonderful and genuinely care for everyone that walks through the door. You are greeted, by name, when you walk in and when you walk out. I enjoyed talking to a human who could have done it as they can register you in person but you know, customer service. so I went in line and can't access the info line or the membership line to cancel. so now I was charged an additional $139 to KOT be able to cancel. I know cancelling memberships to clubs is difficult. I am very disappointed that the hype and false advertising was really just that. Hype And false advertising. My daughter has Down syndrome, needs instruction to develop better focus, discipline, physical agility, and most importantly community and inclusion. The time that Miss Liz spent with myself and my daughter has become absolutely invaluable, as she opened her arms (literally) and excepted my daughter fully and completely without any hesitation, something that does not happen often enough in our world with children and people who have disabilities. We moved to the Murray Hill area in 2001 and have been part of this community ever since. In January 2008 our little angel was born at 23 weeks and four days, making her the second lightest child to survive at Legacy Emanuel Children's Hospital. She has struggled and I have fought the local school district for inclusion, have been to mediation trials, as well as a due process hearings and have won all hearings through the courts; yet, the school district continues to not include her in the mainstream environment. To have her accepted and embraced by Ms Liz, again is highly unexpected for a parent of a child with a disability. I will forever be indebted to Murrayhill Martial Arts for their openness and willingness to fully accept, embrace and include my little angel in their community. Very grateful father.

Coach Bryan has been extremely respectful, welcoming and focused on individual needs of his students...within reason. His drills are always followed by motivation and application. When running drills he walks the room to ensure every student is able to perform the technique to the best of their experience and fitness level. If needed runs the drill with you personally. He expects you to put in the work and is not afraid to be frank when you are not mindful. This is of great importance as you are paying for his service as are others around you. Why waste your money and other's time? His gym is always spotless and never odorous... I have a bit of OCD so that is a great compliment. He is strict on mat cleanliness. He took me in old, bad vision and poor physical condition and is keeping me motivated, healthy and happy... my doctor loves him for that as does my wife.
