I have been going to Dr G my entire life, and honestly it's a huge bummer to see where he has taken his practice. What started as a simple miscommunication on their behalf, lead to me being asked to find another office because he no longer wishes to treat me. LMAO. It's much easier to ditch a patient than to fix your own issues within your office, just read the reviews..... they're so bad he had to create a second yelp account. Dr Gilbert has lost all connection with his patients. You no longer get a personalized care plan, or even greeted at the door for that matter. It seems all he cares about is $$$ which is evident by the way they push cosmetic surgery (his brother is the surgeon). The front desk personnel are absolutely miserable. It's a bummer when you don't even get greeted when you enter the building, and just sit there for 15 min after your scheduled appointment, forced to watch videos of people getting liposuction. But in the event I was 10 min late, well you can read the messages they sent. Shuffled in, shuffled out, and if you're lucky you might see the Elusive Dr Gilbert, but if not you'll be told you can't speak with him, and he can't call you because he's just too busy. Like doing WHAT? You hardly see the dude.... I've brought multiple people to his practice and they've all said the same thing, and have independently decided to go elsewhere. I'd hate to throw out the baby with the bath water, but this place sucks. TLDR Walmart-esque experience, expensive, rude personnel, extremely harsh treatment, NOT GENTLE. Where do I begin.. well for starters let's start with the phone call very helpful super sweet easy breeeezzyy!! Now finding the correct building/office a little confusing. Once I walked in to the calm tranquil office I was greeted with smiles all around. I went to the back, Pearl did my e rays she was gentle explained everything she was doing love love love loved it. We the proceeded to exam room where she took more images. Then i waited for dr... I was greeted by the dr n assistant im sorry i don't remember her name beautiful woman long hair. Side bar I have a level 10 plus anxiety with the dentist it's a childhood trauma issue. My entire family & I have been going to Dr. Gilbert since I was a child. He has been absolutely trustworthy and a wonderful dentist. A friend was just asking about our dentist & every one of my family members had nothing but wonderful things to say about him & the work he does! Dr. Gilbert has been my primary care dentist for 5 years now. He has always been gentle, meticulous, personable, and knowledgable. His staff are courteous and customer service oriented. The first thing you notice is its modern feel. It doesn't look like a dentists office as much as it looks like a day spa. They have current music always playing in the background and they offer you beverages as you wait. I love my hygienist, Natalie. And the office manager Christina has even called me on their days off to see how my treatment was going and if I was satisfied with the support they were providing (I am currently an Invisalign patient). She has even come in on her day off to get me my next set of aligned. They care. It shows. Walked into this super swanky office and expected to be greeted by snobs. Oh boy was I ever wrong. I'm used to being ignored when I walk into swanky establishments just because I like to dress comfortable (jeans, sweatshirt), but I was immediately greeted by genuinely friendly staff. First impressions are everything. Dr. Gilbert and his office staff have definitely won me over on my first visit. Any work I have had to had done is completely pain free. They even got me in right away with a cracked tooth & pain while pregnant. The whole entire staff at Image Aesthetic Dentistry was amazing! I am not a big fan of the dentist (not sure who is) but the front staff made me feel extremely comfortable from the time that I walked in to the time I walked out! Dr. Gilbert was amazing. He saw a cracked tooth and was able to fix it with a filling, and also located 2 small cavities and filled those as well. Dr. Gilbert is an excellent dentist for the most part, the facility is kept at an above average standard, but there is room for improvement in scheduled appointments. They are opened M-R 8-5pm and closed on the weekends. I scheduled an appointment for 8am. I showed up before the 2nd person who was also scheduled at 8am. The second person was taken in before me. At 8:20am I asked if I would be seeing the dentist soon. I asked again at 8:30am and at 8:40am. It was 8:45am and Dr. Gilbert was not done with the other person so I left. I had to be at work at 9am. All I wanted was my tooth chip to be looked at. I learned that 2 people including myself were scheduled for the same time slot and that Dr. Gilbert had a meeting before they opened in which he decided he wanted to do something extensive with the other patient. Why didn't he re-schedule my appointment then? I was upset and disappointed. I had rushed to get there. I did not want to wake up that early that day. I finally got there on time and I did not get to see the dentist. This is the 2nd time I have a longer than average wait time to see Dr. Gilbert. The first time I said nothing, I didn't need to be anywhere right afterwards but this time I did. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. It is very disappointing for anyone to not be seen at their pre-scheduled appointment time. To future patients I advise to make sure you tell the receptionist you want to be seen exactly at your appointment time. I lost sleep, energy, gas, time, and was in a very bad mood afterwards having to rush through traffic to get to work. I told the receptionist to have Dr. Gilbert call me, I did not want to leave him a bad review but unfortunately, I did not hear from him. I will be changing dentists. I need a dentist who values my time and is more professional with scheduling appointments. read more

I went to this place simply because my wife has done so for many years and spoke very highly of it. To start with the positive: Dr. Gilbert is clearly a very skilled dental practitioner: he did some difficult fillings in awkward places quickly, efficiently and with minimal discomfort. However, he made patronizing and condescending small talk as he did so, addressing me as if I was a naughty schoolkid, and asking me trigger questions like a third grade teacher would. In the days leading up to the follow-up appointment I was bombarded with texts, calls and emails reminding me about it, to the point of being overly intrusive (I resent the implication that I am incapable of keeping an appointment). And it took them three days after I'd paid them to give me an itemized receipt for the work done, which I need for tax and insurance purposes. When they finally did, it had my wife's name on the top! When I queried this, I was told that it couldn't be changed because my wife "owns the account" (she set up the initial appointment for me, though why that means that she "owns my account" is a mystery to me). There can't be many businesses that refuse to provide a receipt for a $2k payment with the name of the person who actually paid it on the document, but this is one of them. I will probably go back there, to keep the peace with my wife, and because I'd much rather have a dentist who is rude and condescending but knows what he's doing inside my mouth than one with better customer service skills but who isn't as skillful with the drill and poker. But I'll be gritting my teeth (excuse the pun!) before doing so. read more
