I arrived a few minutes early the day of the event and was the first to receive a gift bag (first 20 customers) which included a mini bundt cake, a 20% off store coupon and a few other discounts to local businesses. I spent roughly 30 minutes looking at clothes and shoes. Winnie saw me carrying around three pairs of jeans and asked if she could put them in a dressing room for me while I continued shopping. Yes please! I wish all stores offered this type of service;) I tried on many items and decided to buy two pants and three shirts. My bill was roughly $45. Be sure to bring your own shopping bag as do not offer them. And sign up for rewards so you earn credits and an annual birthday coupon. I will absolutely be coming back to Uptown Cheapskate!

I roamed the packed aisles- looked at colors, fabrics, styles, brands, pricing. Gathered a handful of items to go try on and found a super cute plaid skirt to snag. I almost grabbed a pair of blue corduroy pants, but they were a shade snug. Staff is amazing- I was greeted and checked on several times. Store was fairly busy too- always a good sign.

It is so very organized and neat. I was really shocked with the formal wear. If you're in a pinch, and you need something to wear, for just a night out on the town, or a fancy dinner. Check it out. I only saw regular sizes, not sure if they have plus sizes. I feel like they are trained to watch the customers. They didn't seem to be too happy. Only one employee spoke to me. The customer service lacks...and that is being kind. Lucky for me, if or when I must step foot in the store I know what I'm after and just go get it if they have it...if not, I leave. I have been shopping at Victoria Secret since before most of the employees were born in there and before the internet became a thing for shopping. I think they should consider the fact that some folks are not new to the brand and they know what they are talking about. Things do change, things no longer exist, etc. and being familiar with older styles to help put a customer into a newer, similar fit or style(s) helps. I get not knowing a style from a decade or more ago, but I don't get not knowing a style/item that was around just a few years ago...or just a year or less. The "we've never sold anything like that" is a horrible answer since we know better, the "I don't know" answer is even worse...but the disappearing act since an employee just doesn't want to help is awful. The only advice I can give to anyone reading this if you are like me and have been shopping with VS a long time...call! Call the toll free number and you'll be surprised at the assistance you will receive. They are very helpful, unlike the stores like this one and are 5-stars hands down. Then, if need be you can order it or you can brave the store to see if they have it. Again, I'm just happy there is a location here...it's just sad that this location lacks. I still like VS of course, I've just had many other better experiences at other stores across the US. If you like VS too or are new to VS, please don't let whatever experience you may encounter at this store turn you off on the brand...just shop online or another store. TMI Side Note (and I hope someone at VS HQ reads this): I really miss VS clothes and I'm sad they discontinued selling clothes. Best jeans and tops ever! Loved the dresses too! I stood for several minutes waiting for the cashier to acknowledge me. She didn't bother to unlock the rooms for me when I asked to try something on. My daughter needed a prom dress and we went to this store which is located inside the Avenues…read moreMall.. The owner and her assistant were both very professional and helpful. I understand the policy that the owners would rather help the customer in trying on the formal gowns because some of them are quite difficult and challenging to put on. My daughter tried a few gowns. The owner was not pushy at all, and in fact, she is so sweet and understanding of what a customer wants. I just don't understand some of the bad reviews here because the owner just struck me as the nicest and one of the most patient salesperson I've dealt with. She was very helpful and supportive to my teenage daughter. We didn't feel rushed. By the way, we also went to the gowns store across the hallway which was a complete opposite of Clelia's (that store across the hallway was so pushy and we felt rushed). Would definitely get our formal dresses thru Clelias from now on. Just very good customer service and the dresses/gowns are also beautiful and reasonably priced.

Came in to find a dress for my wedding, keep in mind i was not looking for a traditional wedding…read moredress and was looking in the clearance rack. I found a beautiful dress within budget, that even if it was too large/too small i would make alterations at home. I walked up to one of the sales associates who didn't even bother to say anything to me when i walked up and asked to try to dress on. She proceeds to lead me to the dressing room when another woman basically stops me and asks what the size of the dress is, i tell her "10 i think!" (it was actually a size 12 the tag was marked wrong) This woman. Then proceeds to look me up and down and goes "it'll be too small but i guess you can still try it on" Immediately i knew i wouldn't be purchasing anything from them, but i tried the dress on anyways to see if i liked the style and cut so i could purchase it somewhere else. Which i did! it was an amazing dress i'll just find the same one elsewhere for sure. But as im walking out from trying it on, the lady walks up and goes " awe didn't fit huh?" never in my life have i been treated this way at a store. I am not plus sized im a medium/large in most stores, but clearly that is considered plus size to them. I highly recommend NOT going to this store. The customer service is awful. (And everything is over priced anyways)
