In all honestly, I had already spent weeks over analyzing this whole decision and was prepared to spend the larger amount. In the end, I ended up with one of their in house brands for a little less than the cost of the Dell just due to the ease of upgrading in the future. The machine I purchased was a little bit slower but I would never use the extra speed or features so saving the extra hundred or so dollars was the right decision. Overall their prices were the same or better than places like Best Buy. Best Buy had a very similar looking Alienware Computer but once you dug into the specs, the MicroCenter unit had a much better cooling and faster memory in the same case.
