Fun time for all and for all ages! We came here for a birthday weekend to celebrate our child. She had a lot of fun and so did we. This is a great place to play, learn, explore, and get some fun pictures. It is so interactive and the youngest children seem to love it here and as one random child said to me, she wanted to come here every day. It was very busy, we came the day before the eclipse and they were getting ready for their big celebration. It was a good time to visit. In general, this is a very small museum. If you have tiny kids, they will want to spend the entire day here. Had I known when my kids were very small, I would have purchased a membership, it seems very worth the money. But if you are a kid at heart, you only need a couple hours to explore. I wish the bagel shop and other food venues had been open, but that is fine, we already ate. They did have a grab and go section with mostly snacks and fridge foods, but they did have some hot fry baskets available. The gift shop was mostly for small kids, and did not have too much besides little trinkets. I also did not love that it was very unclear where we should park and hard to drive around to. We had to ask some people setting up the tents for the eclipse where to do. I did not see enough signage, but they did indicate if you had a membership they would validate, for people who are interested in that bit of information. I would come back here, even my bigger kids still like to play and learn, and it was a fun afternoon out in Toledo.

An amazing day's adventure while staying near Toledo! Prices are pretty fair and military gets in for free. I went with another adult, no children, and it was a blast! My suggestion is to call Imagination Station as soon as they open and ask if there are any field trips that day. They told me that there was a field trip of 200 kids for this morning and if I wanted a quieter experience to come after 2. I arrived around 2 (on a Friday) and I must say that there were little people there. It was a perfect time to explore! There is SO much to do, for all ages! A highlight was riding the wire cycle ("a vertical teeter-totter"). It sounds/looks much scarier than it is! But a thrill for all ages nonetheless. I could go on and on about every exhibit, because each one is just exciting as the last. Never a dull moment in the Imagination Station! If you can park in handicapped spaces, there are a few spaces, for FREE, just feet away from the entrance. General parking has spots available at meters in the area, otherwise you may need to park at a parking garage across the street (with an underground tunnel to get across). Overall, this was a super fun experience and I would love to visit the Imagination Station again one day!

So much FUN for kids and adults! We came about an hour before close and could have easily spent 3 more hours. There is a ton for older kids to do but I was especially impressed by the section for crawlers and toddlers!

Bicycle rope. I accomplished half way!

A great environment to learn about physics and how the world works. Even during the workweek the place can be packed. Highly recommend for those with sensory issues to bring headphones or assistive device. Very friendly and understanding staff.

This is a great museum. I find it expensive, so if we lived in the area, I would get the membership. We'll come back next time we're in town. You have you pay extra for the simulation theater. They have a lot of great, hands on exhibitions. Fun and educational for all ages.

The Imagination Station in Toledo, Ohio is a very nice place to go. It is perfect for school aged children from toddlers all the way to high school. There are lots of activities for the children and adults to interact with. The attractions and displays are kept in good working order which is important in a place like this. The staff was engaged and warm. They could have used a few more greeters at the entryway but in general it was okay. We went with a school group and Imagination Station provided instructions, parking information and other materials prior to arrival to help make the school event go along well. There is one play area set aside for very young children and that was a nice touch. They have ongoing crafting and experiment activities taking place. The work area is clean and the activities are fun and interesting. The instructors/leaders/teachers in this area are skilled and interested. They could probably use a little more help with keeping some of the play spaces cleared up but it wasn't really a problem. So much fun and what a lot to learn!

So many cool exhibits! Loved by 3 generations on our visit ranging from toddlers to grandma. We rode the bicycle across the tight wire, visited the Dinosaur exhibit, watched a show and spent a lot of time in the toddler room. I have never seen such a cool young people space! The kids and adults could role play in a hospital, grocery, ambulance and fire truck spaces. The hospital even had an X-ray area, baby nursery and more. I spent a lot of time with my littles driving the fire truck to put out the house fire. LOL. The fire truck brakes squealed and accelerator revved the engine (play of course) If you like dinosaurs, get there to see the temporary exhibit Dinosaurs Around the World. Life sized, motion activated dinosaurs will captivate your imagination. It is worth the extra admission.

There were definitely some cool exhibits and fun activities but after about 1 1/2 hours we had seen everything and were bored. Just didn't feel we got much for the ticket price. Definitely fun for kids of all ages, just don't plan on spending the whole day there. About half the size of CoSi Columbus.

Water Works zone.. Kids can go nuts playing with water without worrying about running your water bill.. lol

Been coming for almost a year now. My 6 year old has the greatest time here every time. What more can I say.

We had a GREAT time at the Imagination Station in Toledo. Thanks to Groupon, we were able to buy an annual family membership at half-price ($35 instead of $70). Of course, I bought it sight unseen, so I had high hopes of getting my monies worth and I did! The IS works for ages 4+ and probably even most appropriate for 7+. They really took the old Science Center idea and made it inventive and enjoyable. We spent 2.5 hours learning about Energy, Light, Sound and Engineering. All of the topics were presented in fun and exciting ways that kept all of our attention. We didn't make to it all of the exhibits, due to time, but are looking forward to our next trip to see more!

Taking the kids out for my son's 5th birthday. They had a blast!!! We spent all day there til closing and enjoyed every bit of it!!

I haven't been since I was a kid and it was still Cosi, but I recently took my daughter and son for his 5th birthday. We had a BLAST! They have plenty of new and interesting exhibits as well as ones that have been there since I was a kid such as the bike and the tilted house! The main thing I loved is that they have an entire area specifically for small children, preschool aged. The kids think they are just playing having fun but they're also learning as well. It also has a gate you have to go through to get in that locks and is impossible for kids to unlock. I loved it as much as they did! I also loved the price. On Saturday Lucas county residents get a $1.50 discount and two kids per adult are free. So it only cost $10.50 for all three of us to get in and have a day full of fun and learning!!

I live right here in Michigan and unfortunately I go to this science center more than I go to the Detroit science center. This place is awesome I took my kids here and we had a great time. This place gets 4 stars instead of 5 because of the horrible food there, it's gross and expensive, it didn't occur to me at the time to take pictures inside the place because there was so much to do but while waiting for the science center to open I took pics outside. TIP: buy the year round pass if you visit any science center more than twice a year, at 130 bucks for full family, grandparents, and extra kids it more than pays for itself in the end. Also you can use your science pass at any science center in the U.S.

    Halloween spooky science exhibit!
